I am a new client that called the morning of Valentines hoping to get scheduled for a full bikini wax (that is more taken off than a bikini but less removed than a Brazilian). I left a message with Sherri and within 10-15 minutes had a call back. She was very nice on the phone and even accommodated me last minute that day. I wasn't able to see Sherri but she squeezed me in with her sister. It had been some years that I had a wax so it was a little longer session then normal but that's b/c it was so thorough. She made me feel very comfortable, the room was clean and more importantly the wax job was done well. I asked about other services and decided to get my eyebrow threaded. That too was a wonderful experience. She definitely knows what she is doing. I will be back next month for a follow up on both services. I never felt pressured to buy anything or get additional services. Two weeks later-I called Sherri for a facial consultation (wanted to know what would be good for me), again she returned my call immediately and even got me in same day. I just had a consultation so can't review her facials but again, never felt pressured about products or scheduling for a future appointment but was well educated by Sherri on my skin type and what she recommends about future services and products. She is located "upstairs" in a salon so wear comfy shoes, parking is in rear (back alley) or you can opt for street parking. I can't even begin to tell anyone how thankful I am that I found Sherri! She deserves 5 stars in absolutely everything: personality, comfort-ability, her Brazilian waxing, her waxing etiquette, explanation of the best aftercare- you name it. I've been to a number of waxing places all over Orange County (Fullerton, Brea, Cerritos, Irvine, Tustin, etc) and have been getting Brazilian waxing and threading for over 7 years now; and I have yet to come across a better wax, better results, and a better personality/overall experience than Sherri. She is one of the hardest and most genuine workers I've come across and truly loves what she does- maybe because she's so damn good at it, I'd love my job too! I found her on Yelp as a last minute necessity before a Vegas trip for my birthday, and called her the day before I was leaving, having forgotten all about making an appointment at my (at the time) usual place. After I called and left a voicemail, she called me within only about 3 minutes and was able to fit me in. Her pricing is so reasonable, she handles every little pesky hair on you, and handles it all with such care that the waxed/threaded area is not irritated or anything. I know people that have had issues in the past with wax irritation from cheap wax or ingrown hairs, and my friends have said that she is the absolute best, uses quality wax, and their skin has never looked or felt smoother- and I have to agree 100%. She knows what she's doing in regards to skincare. It's so annoying when you pay $65+ for a Brazilian and there's still hair, but I have never experienced that with Sherri. I'm really happy that I found out about Sherry! My skin has completely changed since I've had my facial with her not even a week ago. I was skeptical about facials cause my skin is very sensitive and in my past experience it became all red and the pimples got more infected! This is a long overdue review. Sherri is probably one of the personable people I've ever met. The last time I went to her, I got a bikini and leg wax, as well as an eyebrow wax. I normally wax my own legs (I like to be as cheap as humanly possible), so this was a fairly rare occasion, but I found the experience really rewarding. When I told her that I wax myself, she gave me really good tips on how to improve the experience. I do plan on going back to her for my eyebrows though. The place is sanitary, and I felt very comfortable in the environment. She took all the precautions that a professional should, most notably the pre-cleaning of the leg and bikini area. You never get the feeling that she doesn't know exactly what she's doing every second of the time, despite the flow of the conversation, and she updates you periodically on what she's doing. She definitely takes her time, but it's the kind of comfortable long, not forever long, and I appreciate the care that she puts into every person. Nothing ever felt rushed.
