Another staff member came in. She said I HAD to have her test. We repeated the same conversation. We realized that there was no point in continuing, so I left the office. None of the three staff members smiled. None of the three were sympathetic. None of the three said, "We understand that we don't have the test you want. We will help you find an office with the test you want." They all apparently wanted to force me to have their test. Since then, I went to Walmart's vision center. I had the test I wanted, from staff that smiled, and I left satisfied. I will continue to go there for exams and glasses. I never did meet Dr. Conway.

So when we walked in the door, we had everything ready and after using the bathroom, they were ready to see us! The waiting room is a digital Disney land of screens. The kids will not want to leave! Once we were with Dr. Burke (who came to get us from the waiting room- first time I've ever had that happen at an appointment for anything!) we were immediately put at ease by his playful and friendly demeanor. He made my 3 year old comfortable and kept him stimulated with lots of positive activities that doubled as eye exams. My son sat on my lap for the entire exam- which the front desk team had told me ahead of time (and that put me at ease, too). We know now why this doctor is so highly recommended and would like to join those in saying he does an amazing job at making a stressful experience very positive and making you feel well cared for.

So now I have to wait for them to order the 2 contacts they want to "fit" me for, drive back to the office, get them, and then let them know which ones I want so they can order them...??? No. I want to leave the office with my contacts Rx and be able to go get contacts whenever I want. So just keep in mind that this fitting is $65 and not optional before going in. I will not be going back. I'll stick with the bigger companies who give me contacts and my contacts Rx before I leave.

This is a locally, independently operated business and that truly shows. From the moment I called to inquire about an appointment I was very impressed with the staff. The receptionists were so very helpful, and they even had me speak with a technician to troubleshoot how emergent my issue was. They got me an appointment in a timely manner. On the day of my visit every one in the practice was wonderful. I was very impressed with Dr Howard! He took a reasonable yet efficient amount of time and had great "bedside" manner. Wait time prior to appointment was also reasonable. Now that I have visited here I wouldn't go anywhere else!
