We had a rehearsal dinner for our son wedding. The place that was to cook the pizzas called at the last minute and said they had to cancel. We called Hometown and asked if he could cook twenty pizzas on a Friday night. He said hell no and couldn't believe he answered the phone for such a request. Totally rude and unprofessional. Really good pizza! We called ahead and picked up through the window. Had a Garden Pesto that we added sausage to. Our only regret was we didn't order a large! We could have had leftovers for breakfast! The medium was sufficient for two adults who weren't super hungry. read more

For a pizza joint this was a little underwhelming. The inside was not particularly beautiful, the help we got from the employees was lackluster and the pizza was subpar. Surprisingly impressive for small town pizza fare. Has a small town feel to it and a lot of toys for kids to play with (just a warning). A little thicker crust than what I usually like, but flavorful. Right when we walked in we knew it was going to be delicious... It smelled amazing. I am not sure how to go forward with this review. Should what I say be based on all other pizza places or should I take into account it's the methow valley and off season at that. I guess it's going to be kind of a mix The crust was not bad but not great. I guess this kind of sets the tone for the rest of the pizza. Here is my breakdown on the rest of the pizza. The crust was as I said ok, thick at the edges and thin under the toppings. Sauce it was the best part of this pizza good flavor. The meatballs tasted like they just came out of the freezer. The Sausage was the pre cooked kind you find at Papa Murphy's The garlic was kind of a backup note but listed as a topping. Then there is the cheese there was lots of it and it was on top of the rest of the toppings. I am not a fan of a lot of cheese, if you are cool. The dine-in experience is lackluster. The restaurant is very dated and the staff isn't particularly nice. However, the pizza is fine. The selection is fantastic and the wait times are very low. The addition of the drive-through window was a great choice and improvement for our current times. read more

This was a last minute decision after a bike ride up the Twisp River Trail. It was midweek and not many cars in the parking lot. It's a clean looking pizza place geared toward families. Nice people working there. We had an interesting conversation about the rattlesnake we had just seen, which turned out to be a non-event compared to the rattle and situation we found ourselves in the next day. We were take out so we waited in the magazine area. They need to replace their magazine with some 2011 magazines. Hello, we are in the eighth month of the year; last year is a little old. We ordered a veggie calzone and a chicken pesto pizza. We were told a half hour to cook but actually took twenty minutes. Well, when we got it back to our rental cabin, 25 minutes later, it was still hot in the boxes, and more importantly, superb pizza. Their crust is very good, the toppings were fresh and nicely proportioned and the price was right. This is well worth the stop. My suggestion is to get takeout and drive to one of the many vistas or stopping places along the river and savor the pizza. The Twisp Park, where the pool is, is only blocks away. Lay on the grass and enjoy this very good pizza. I wish we had this pizza up on Queen Anne in Seattle. read more

Excellent pizza!!!! More cheese and other toppings than any other place Î have had pizza. During the colder months, they put soup and daily made bread on the menu. I have yet to be disappointed in their homemade soup and homemade bread. The pizza is a little more expensive, but that's to be expected with the amount of toppings. read more

I guess when ypu are the only pizza place in town you don't have to be good, you just have to be open. Place is dirty and run down. Toppings on the puzza were extremely sparce. Ordered sausage, pepperoni, olives and onions on a quarter. How do you end up with a slice of pizza with 1 pepperoni and 1 piece of sausage. Husband and I are visiting Winthrop, we tried calling in for a pick up at a place in Winthrop and told it would be a 40+ min wait. Instead we found Hometown Pizza, and sooo glad we did! We saw they had Pulled Pork(home made) Sammy's so we asked for a 'custom pizza' incorporating it. Fantastic pizza! The crust, perfect. The sauce, yummy. Cheese, lots of cheese! We love Hometown pizza. As locals it's a regular place for us to enjoy delicious pizza at a great price. Although their interior isn't the worlds greatest it's clean and very kid friendly! If you don't have time to stop in and eat order a 'take & bake' pizza. They make it for you to take home and cook.
