    #RETIREMENT2022

Fabulous is the word to describe the venue, service and food! TC and the crew went above and beyond my expectations. The throne chair, #letters and the fireworks added a finishing touch to the Retirement Celebration. The staff's attention to detail and TC's mere presence made me more appreciative. All I can say is KUDOS to a job WELL DONE. I highly recommend this venue for any celebration...A+ (in my teacher voice)

Worst place ever to have an event. This place is not good. Kept us waiting hours before we could eat. Not nice staff. Do not recommend.

In addition to the art, there are plenty of places to sit along the paths and a restaurant. Inside the Welcome Center, there is a museum, cafe with high quality snacks, and gift shop. We drove (parking is free with your ticket!), but I've heard it's not difficult to get here via public transit from NYC. Buy your tickets ahead of time! They are tied to specific timed entries and can completely sell out. General admission is $25 per person, but they do offer discounts for students, seniors, and other groups. Also, if you go during the summer, they run a great promo where tickets are only $5 on Fridays from 5 PM until closing. Even as someone who doesn't know much about art or sculpture, I had an absolute blast walking around the beautifully maintained grounds. There is a good amount to see, and some of the structures are truly massive in size. It's a perfect activity whether you're with loved ones, friends, or just going solo. They also have a restaurant and a cafe right on the grounds if you want to grab a bite. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be happy to come back again

Breaking news: this place does Bridal Showers…read more My mom had rented this place out for my sister's sweet 16 back in the day, and I used to go to Zumba here, but I never considered it for a more formal sit down event. This weekend, I discovered another hidden gem for hosting Bridal Showers, which as many of you know, has become about 1/3 of my social calendar these days (the other 2/3 being weddings and bachelorette parties, naturally). Space -It's a large space with a parking lot in the back. Dark red curtains, and a wooden floor. There were maybe 6 tables of 10 organized in a semi circle in the middle of the room, with some tables for gifts at the front and a throne for the bride, and three large tables in the back for food. -The entrance is by the parking lot, not the street, so signs may need to be put up for guests unfamiliar with this. -A bar area was set up with sodas and lemonade. I think the hosts can bring their own alcohol if they want (but it's not provided by the venue, so unclear if they'd serve it or if it would be a self serve situation). Food -Food was catered by the venue and very good- simple and delicious pasta salad, potato salad, penne a la vodka, caesar salad, and make your own sandwich situation with turkey, ham, corned beef, roast beef, and salami, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. -Dessert was delicious too-mini brownie looking things that were actually (suprise!) chocolate mousse cups, mini cheesecake bites, profiteroles. Great spot to host an event! This particular one was 12 to 4, with a half hour alotted for cleanup before and after.

(I'll update my review and add pictures once we get our sneak peek gallery from our photographer…read morethis Saturday!) You know how people talk about that moment you put on a wedding dress, see yourself in the mirror, then think "this is the one"? That's how we felt with Estate at Eagle Lake from the moment we saw it in person! My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day. We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost: - The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM - SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over - Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! - Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) - Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond - A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups - A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" - Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather - Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) - Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty! Our wedding truly wouldn't have been as magical if it were anywhere other than Estate at Eagle Lake. It's truly a hidden gem. We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and I even got some inquiries about the venue from future brides looking for a wedding venue after I was tagged by some of our guests in Facebook pictures! If Carlo and I ever plan another big event, we'll absolutely come back to Estate at Eagle Lake with no hesitation and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a special event :) TIP #1: For those who plan an event here, be sure to tell your guests of the pebble paths and grass so they can wear appropriate footwear. TIP #2: If you haven't booked here yet but are interested, go to an open house so that you can meet some of the preferred vendors and potentially get a discount from them!

The grounds are gorgeous and ideal for hosting an all-in-one wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and…read morereception party. Scott, the owner-operator is hands on, passionate about the property, and provides great service to clients, guests, and wedding vendors alike. As a DJ, I was delighted to have my booth located in a real-life bunker and adjacent to an extensive bridal suite that resembles a professional hair salon! Relatively new to the Central NJ wedding scene, couples should take a closer look at this amazing and unique property.
