Remember the days when you had to make reservations and order your slice of pie before you got there? No more. Here's the issues...the food. I used to LOVE the Keo Classic. Now its avocado slices are too thin, the parmesan coating wasnt as crispy, and it wasnt warmed up enough. And...its about $5 more than it used to be. Next, the pie. It used to be just flawless, perfect smoothness of filling and nice high meringue. The meringue was still very good. However, the filling was floury tasting. It either had too much or wasnt cooked long enough. I lacked the decadence and creaminess of pies of the past. I can tell why it wasnt that crowded. Its just not the same and not an improvement. Maybe the new owners will take these comments to heart and fill the ultra quaint little cafe again.
