They are served 3 meals a day restaurant style in lovely surroundings, but with only one choice. My mother says the grade of meat they serve is not up to her (very high) standards. I don't know if this is true, but coming from a vegetarian with very peculiar eating habits, I take that with a grain of salt. The meals I've enjoyed there are always great. With a library, in-house piano recitals, well-appointed apartment units and livelier than expected residents, this place is tough to fault on any level. I hope and trust that is they pay their employees as much as they possibly can and that their lowest wage meets the $15/hour non-poverty requirement!

As I wandered my way to the correct room I passed several areas where small groups were gathered to watch television, play cards, listen to live music, and meet with family. When I got to the room the care-giver was just finishing up and the three of us had a brief, but very pleasant conversation. The room was small but there was enough seating for three visitors. I liked the facility and the staff that I met were very impressive.

Every maintenance request I've put in has been dealt with either same day or next day. Rent is reasonable and hasn't been raised for me, and I've renewed twice so far. They tend to leave you be unless you need them, or if they have a notice, which I like a lot. My only quips are that there isn't an elevator (3rd floor-yikes!), no pets allowed, and the parking lots are a bit beat up. Other than that, you won't find anyone better to rent from, especially as a first timer.
