You can also learn how to milk a goat. There are so many animals here -- horses, ponies, rabbits, peacocks, cows, ducks, chickens, doves, and of course the goats and cats. I have nothing but amazing remarks for this place! My 2 year old absolutely loved everything here. She especially loved feeding the baby goats. During our visit, every kid was given a ticket they could use to purchase either a baby bottle to feed goats or a bag of corn to feed other animals (adult goats, sheep, cows, etc). We spent about an hour here - plenty of spots for a quick lunch if you bring one. Also stroller friendly as we brought our 7 month old (who enjoyed the animals as well!). We arrived fairly early in the day, and the web site does state that they can halt bottle and corn sales based on the number of people who arrive. However, when we were there, they said only kids or families with kids were allowed to get the milk bottles for the goats. It's disappointing because we would have loved to feed the baby goats. Most kids we saw trying to feed the goats couldn't do it properly because they were too afraid to, and a lot of the milk was wasted as it was dripping into the ground. So, all we had was corn, which you could only feed to adult goats and cows. Pros- the place is big, and has a lot of animals, many goats are babies You'll see birds (chickens, pigeons, doves, peacocks) The bottles and corn are only 25 cents each Cons- no kid, no bottle :( With corn, there are barely any animals to feed. Why don't they offer carrots for the horses and donkeys? It isn't clear what the fate is for these animals, so maybe these poor animals eventually get eaten read more

A MUST DO!!! Definitely stop here- great for all ages. Read the reviews- they are all spot on. It's a clean, excellent environment to get close and feed animals. Very nice layout on property and a visit well worth it! When we paid to get in, I was told the bottles were only for kids to avoid over feeding. The lady was nice enough to provide me one since we went early and it was the only reason I wanted to make the stop! It was so fun to feed the baby goats and toss corn into the cows' mouths. We had a riot! If I were to provide any constructive feedback, it would be to consider allowing adults buy one bottle of milk. It's not just kids that get a kick out of it! We enjoyed it very much and felt it was odd that unless we asked/pleaded, we would not have had that experience because we didn't have a child with us. If a family comes with 5 children, they get 5 bottles, but 2 adults can't get 1 bottle? It doesn't make sense. Make this change and you will have many more happy visitors- even if they don't have children. I also wish there was a bit more social distancing in effect. No one was wearing masks, which is generally okay being outside, but kids running everywhere and some of the indoor barns very crowded. We went early so it wasn't as bad, but on the way out it was very busy. 4 stars due to bottle policy and social distancing. Regardless, we had an excellent time and will be coming back year after year- hopefully with the chance to feed the goats/pig by bottle again. It was an experience to remember! read more

Cute little farm in door county.. very well kept clean and the animals are well taken care of.. we saw cows sheeps lambs pigs turkeys chickens and hens.. they do offer milk bottles for kids to feed the animals and you can buy animal feed for adults to feed the animals.. they also have small and simple trails near by which is very nice to have a short walk.. kids will love this place and adults will enjoy this too.. ample amount of parking in their parking lot.. i think they shut down during winter and fly their animals else where.. great stop during our trip to Door County this fall.. read more

Once you've paid admission you can buy milk bottles for the baby goats and corn for the other animals for 25 cents each. Plenty of action around the farm. This is definently in my top 3 favorite petting zoos I have been to. They have a good variety of animals including Goats, Cows and Kittens. They also have a few small museums spread out with old farming equipment and tools. The Farm also has a small garden with potatoes, sunflowers and more. They also have an area where they allow you to pick a four leaf clover for good luck. This is a vert fun farm to go to and I definently recommend this petting zoo to anyone visiting Door County. read more

I can only repeat what's been said before... A Wonderful experience for adults and children of all ages. I suggest you go early while the animals are still hungry and they accept the bottlefeeding readily. Love how the owners regulates only one bottle per customer so the animals are not overfed. My three granddaughters ages seven and eight were delighted by the animals, chickens, goats, little piggies,flowers, big bull, scarecrow and the deep well. I have been visiting The Farm since I was a kid. My husband and I have taken our kids several times, but it had been a couple of years since we had visited. Even though our boys are older now (11 and 13), they were still excited to visit The Farm! You can feed the baby goats a bottle, you can hold a kitten, see the piglets, milk a goat, feed corn to the cows and other animals. There are several old/historic buildings that are interesting to learn about. There is a display of old farm equipment/machinery. It usually takes up to about two hours to see all the sights and animals. I would recommend stopping at The Farm if you are in door County. Good family fun for all ages. read more

Totally Irresponsible. We normally love going to The Farm whenever we are staying in Door County. We usually get a season pass, but we went today and they were absolutely unacceptable about social distancing. They did have a plexiglass screen up and they had made traffic through the entrance/giftshop one way. However, when we arrived, the two teens behind the counter were not wearing masks and when I asked about any Covid-19 precautions, they both laughed. One said, their animals are dirty so they weren't worried. All the zoos and humane societies in the country are worried, but apparently NOT The Farm. When we went into the main courtyard (Wearing our masks) NO ONE else was wearing a mask or practicing any social distancing. Families were letting their kids run all over and into buildings where other people were present. Elderly grandparents were there and no one was giving them space. People kept crowding everyone and the staff who were present were not doing anything to encourage social distancing. They just stood around unmasked and watching people. I think I saw one staff person wearing a mask. The girls at the front desk without masks and laughing about taking precautions set the tone for the guests to pretend that there isn't a dangerous pandemic happening. When we left, because everyone in our group was uncomfortable, the line was huge to get in and of course, the farm hadn't marked where to stand to line up so everyone was on top of each other with no masks. Most other businesses in Door County are requiring masks, are social distancing, having curbside and take out available. People at the beach were social distancing, etc. I want our favorite businesses to succeed, and most are behaving responsibly, but this was a shocking disregard for the safety of both guests and staff. I guess The Farm just doesn't care if their staff or guests get sick. We will not be back this season and have told all our friends who come up every year to not go. read more

OMG - a petting zoo done right. Gone are the days of sad baby goats stepping in their own poo in a small enclosed area at a pumpkin patch. The Farm is a sprawling haven of animals, tame and cute and down to hang out with you. You can also feed them from baby bottles. Yes. Baby bottles. Adorable. The fun doesn't stop with the baby animals. I know you might get bored with holding a baby goat (yeah right), so you can go see some of their bigger animals like the horse that looks like Joe Dirt (DANG!) or Jerry the Brahman cow. He is the size of a buffalo with the demeanor of a kitten. With a huge, gray tongue. He's amazing. There's a path to walk on, real crops to walk through, kittens, baby pigs, creepy turkeys, and those chickens that look like they are wearing pants made of feathers. Feather pants. The Farm was one of the highlights of our family trip to Door County. First and foremost, The Farm was a great value! With 2 children under 5, the cost of activities can add up fast. It was less than $25 for us all to experience feeding, petting , and cooing over cute animals. We spent over 2 hours there, so we got great bang for few bucks. The Farm was also extremely clean and provided ample hand washing opportunities. This is really key with little ones who tend to put everything, food or not, in their mouths. I must also commend this place for taking great care of their animals. They are conscious of over feeding, have lots of staff to assist children, and post clear signage so parents know exactly how to interact with and feed animals. Not a single animal looked unhappy, ill, or unloved. It was fantastic to see families learning and experiencing nature together. Hands down, this is my #1 recommendation for must-do activities for families with children ages 10 and under. read more

When you walk in, it's like a big petting zoo. Different animals are housed in the barns. This place is so fun! We were visiting door county with our 3 boys, and we brought them here for the morning. They loved it! So much to do and see. All of the staff is very friendly. You can give baby goats a bottle, pet all of the animals, feed the cows. There are gardens to walk through, tractors for the kids to sit on, and a couple walking paths through the woods. After going to Plum Loco we discovered The Farm. What a contrast! We spent less to get in, spent less on feed to feed the animals, saw wonderful displays, and lots of free roaming baby animals to pick up and hold! My daughter was in kitty heaven! The owner told us that locals bring them their unwanted kittens to be raised on The Farm then they are adopted out, he told us that all the ones we saw that day, must been at least a dozen, already all were spoken for. She would put one down then pick up another. Kittens weren't all that got picked up so did the baby goats roamed around. A half -filled (not a complaint) small bottle of goats milk cost a whopping 25 cents, the same amount as bags of corn. At Plum Loco we paid $2.50 for less than a handful of grain and six cut up carrot sticks! As the other reviewer said they had a walking path around the perimeter that had log cabins set up for educational purposes. One was a sugar house, another was set up to learn about bee keeping, and another was set up as a family cabin with a kitchen full of antiques and what not, all behind plexiglass. A small open shed had a Model T pickup as well as some antique farming equipment. They also have a nice souvenir shop that has reasonably priced merchandise. All in all this place is first class! I would highly recommend to all of all ages not just kids. I grew up in rural Illinois and grew up farming so while a lot of this was familiar I still enjoyed it. The era that is captured with their displays hearkens back to a time when farms were a family way of life not a business! If you pass up The Farm to go to the other place you are Plum Loco! read more

They sell milk in bottles for $.25 and corn in bags for a small charge. Everything with the animals is a hands-on experience. They have kittens and baby chicks that you can hold, goats and lambs that you can feed, horses, pigs, cows, and bunnies, a peacock, and more. I loved the old historical farm buildings that you can walk through to see old equipment and scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful and the farm was very clean.
