The are known for their savory quiche and crepes as well as their delicious ice cream filled dessert crepes, ordering the Spinach Bisque is a MUST! While a cup may be fine for some, I always insist on a bowl of the creamy, buttery bisque. Recently for lunch, I chose their Wagyu Meatloaf Sandwich, paired with spicy ketchup, provolone and crispy onion strings on a grilled artisan white bun. The side of Mayo aoli is a great topping too! Sitting inside and watching the chefs prepare the crepes is a delight, but a beautiful afternoon calls for a relaxing meal on their ivy lined patio! It is so cute and gives such great small town peaceful vibes. Highly recommend; but you may need to call ahead for reservations.

Today we stopped for lunch and Andrea took great care of us!! We were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside and enjoy the display of antique decorations ( old phonograph, television, antique furniture, etc). We had a crepe and soup combo and a soup and sandwich combo. The spinach bisque is always on the menu and the soup of the day was tomato cognac. Everything was delicious as usual. This place has been in business since 1978 for a reason! The quality of food and service can't be beat!

I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh fruit. . The chicken came as ordered, plain, with a side of honey mustard. The fruit was also very fresh! Everything was very tasty! My friends ordered the tenderloin and unfortunately I can't remember my other friend's order. They did say the enjoyed the food and too home the extras to finish. I thought my server was wonderful. I am currently on a low salt diet and she did her best to accommodate my needs. After she found out the tenderloin only came breaded she checked to make sure that would be okay, which it wasn't, but helped me order something else. She also didn't charge me extra for the fruit since I was unable to have a side. The cafe was very busy, but not too noisy, except for maybe one person who was seated across from us. I cannot wait to return, I had an exceptional meal.

This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. He came right out and we talked a little more to the point I feel we made new friends with each other. I totally recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed. Bring your kids and family and enjoy a great home style breakfast. It's great!

The cozy restaurant appears to be frequented mostly by locals. I half expected someone to yell "Norm!" but seriously, everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. They have a Friday-only menu which has several fish specials and plenty of options for those wanting something else. The missus got the walleye dinner while I opted for the large rib eye meal. They come with a choice of potato and a salad or salad bar. The salad bar is small but was stocked with really fresh, tasty items. Big plus! Her dinner came with four pieces of fish that were crisp on the outside but moist and flaky on the inside. The fillets were significantly larger than average. The breading was well seasoned, delicate and crunchy. This was best walleye I've had in a long time. My rib eye came with a baked potato, and Texas toast. I like my meat well done and yeah I sort of expect that it will be somewhat tough. Not so. This steak was moist and tender with seasonings that would be ruined if steak sauce were used. They have homemade pies available (chocolate, coconut, pumpkin, and my personal favorite egg custard were on that day's menu). Unfortunately, we couldn't spare the stomach space. Maybe next time. At a total price of $27.00 + loose change we were well satisfied. Good food at a great price. I expect we may become "regulars". Cheers!!
