Their property is enveloped with so much care, love and passion. The details of the architecture, amenities and furniture are exquisite. If you utilize their properties, you can mark it off your bucket list that you got to stay in a mansion. The best part? They were helpful and easy-going. They answered all of my OCD questions and ensured my family and friends made memories that will last a lifetime. The Plantation is an expansive home with 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms with lake access, a private pond, a separate guest house, a salt-water pool, hot tub, outdoor pavilion, two fire pits, theater room, 2 screened-in porches, garden trellis, horse stable and pastures, free access to kayaks and a paddleboat as well as access to rent their pontoon boat. There's a pool here to enjoy .Plenty of parking in their lot.And if you're a Vampire Diaries fan this is the place to stay as they did film onsite.Really enjoyed my stay can't wait to return.

There were a lot of instructions but it was very clear what was needed and it was rather an easy process. It was a little weird emailing a selfie of myself but fine if that was all they needed for proof of who I was and that we had checked in. The room/apartment was amazing. It felt like a home and large enough to feel comfortable. We used the kitchen and dining area as we were there a few days. Everything was available from plates and cups to sponges and dish soap. However, there were only bath samples enough for one use so if you are planning on staying more than one night then bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. The white towel situation is very strict so if you don't want to be charged for soiling the linens in any way, bring your own towels. The location is central and private parking is available right in front of your apartment unit. I never heard any noise from neighbors and we were required to take out our own trash since it was basically an apartment complex. I had no issues with any of the rules and would gladly stay here again. We really loved it and it was way cheaper than any of the hotels in downtown Atlanta.

While the "bedroom/living room" portion was updated, I was surprised to learn that the kitchen and especially bathroom were not. I don't feel like anyone should be surprised when it comes to a purchase, so this review is accompanied by actual pictures of the Studios on 25th (standard) located at 47 25th Street Northwest in Atlanta. TIPS: -Be prepared for TONS OF TRAFFIC at this location (not the hotel's fault) -Bring your own towels and toiletries. You'll arrive and find two bath towels, and two hand towels. There are palm-sized containers of a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap -- good for one use only. -There is no on-sight front desk, so check in will require you to take photos of the following and submit them online to complete your virtual check-in experience: Picture of self holding your DL, Picture of your credit card that you used to book, and picture of the credit card you'd like to use for damages -Speaking of damages, while I was not charged for anything extra, please be very careful. There are lots of rules, including warnings about soiling their towels, or throwing away empty cleaning supply bottles. There is a minimum damages fee if any damages are assessed, so just read all the fine print. And don't forget to take your garbage out at the end of your stay! That's part of your check out list. By the way, the minute I stepped into the room and realized it was nothing like the pictures, I immediately contacted management. They advised me that I booked the **standard** room, so I was in the right place. It's just too bad that the pictures advertising the place did not match up to the actual room. Anyway, it's not a bad place, but since this trip was a graduation present for my daughter, I was sort of embarrassed at the accommodations I'd unwittingly chosen. I don't know why there are no photos available of the standard studio, especially the bathroom. Anyway, I've included them so future potential guests can be truly informed before making a decision. If you just need a clean, quiet place to rest your head and you hate hotels, this might work for you. EDIT: In response to the owners notes below, I would add that (1) The room was well over $100 a night. I stayed three nights and paid $451 with tax. It is currently advertised on booking.com for $126 a night for the standard room. (2)The pictures I've posted are of the actual room I stayed in. I did not do any sort of photo magic or editing. That's the room I had. What about the pictures is inaccurate?The bathroom has not been renovated since the 60's. It could be upgraded using vintage styled finishes if one was truly going for a vintage look and there would be no need to tear the building down to renovate the bathroom. The way it is now, some choose to call it "vintage", I call it old and outdated. It needs way more than some caulking. (3) The one star review reflects the bait/switch tactics that made me feel like I'd been fooled. The pictures on booking.com are, at the very least, misleading. The photos of the upgraded units are mixed in with the standard units, and not one advertising picture *accurately* depicts the bathroom. Yes, the unit is quiet, clean, and a unique departure from the standard hotel. However, the consumer has the right to know the whole story. For some people, even with the un-renovated bathroom, the unit would be fine. The goal of my review was simply to make potential guests fully aware of all aspects of the room. (4) This company has a few properties in the area. Not only that, but they have normal, updated studios in the very building I stayed in. I imagine the good reviews are from people who've had the benefit of better accommodations than I had.

While it is only open to transplant patients by reservation only, the staff are more than accommodating to try and fit my needs (and those of my caregiver).The staff are excellent, the grounds (on the Claremont Campus of Emory University) are beautiful, and the home itself is extraordinary. 10/10 will return here if I need to stay longer than overnight for appointments, lab work, etc.

As someone who has been a guest several times and I mean weeks at a time for business…read more I was driving back to Alabama and my eyes got so heavy I decided to pull over in a place I felt comfortable to just shut my eyes for about 30 minutes. When a person (because he's not a man) decided to accuse me of being out there for almost 1 hour. It wasn't even 20 minutes. He asked me to roll my window down, I politely did and was polite in explaining why I was there. I don't know if this POS has wife or children but when someone needs to close their eyes for a few moments so they don't have an accident driving and this person takes issue with me resting my eyes in and empty parking for 20 minutes, says everything I need to know about ever staying here again. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND THE PEOPLE WHO I KNOW THAT COME OF OUT TOWN OF TOWN, I will absolutely make sure they are never recommended. Unbelievable!!

When booking online, I selected a non-smoking room with a king size bed. The room I received was exactly as advertised. Clean room, big TV, cold AC, good water pressure in shower. No breakfast, but I already knew that, so no problem. Staff was friendly at check in and check out, no issues during my stay. Plenty of restaurants close by, and Atlanta attractions were usually only 30 min away unless there was bad traffic. I would stay here again.

I love low-key places that put you in the heart of things while providing privacy, comfort, and luxury. Upon arrival we were greeted by Adam. He was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. After showing us to our room and settling he left us to explore. What a beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. The decor inside of our room and throughout the manor was breathtaking. I took my time exploring each room in the common areas to make sure I didn't miss a thing! Our room was located on the first floor towards the front of the house. It was clean, smelled great and spacious. All of the amenities for a in-home spa experience were provided. They even sell spa packages. I bought the lavender scented on because that's one of my favorite scents. We decided to run and pick up something to eat and bring it back to the bed and breakfast. You have the option to eat inside of your room or in the inclosed patio. We chose to sit in patio which is where breakfast is eaten as well. They offer complimentary breakfast that's served buffet style. When we got to breakfast the next morning I asked for a fresh pot of eggs. They had no problem accommodating and the food was very good. If you book a stay during the warmer months you'll love the option to take a dip in the beautiful pool. If there's an emergency Adam is just a phone call away and not far. His quarters are on the property grounds as well.

I have nothing negative to say about this stay. Accommodations were exactly as stated and seen on the website. Adam was a great host.
