Great small event venue. I did an AI talk here for Data Society. Can hold like 50-100 folks and its own bar attached to El Tio.

I was in the patio with friends, in the corner, not bothering anyone -- not fighting, not yelling, not approaching strangers. Security walked up, said there was "a complaint," refused to say who it was from, refused to say what it was about, refused to let me talk to the manager, and refused to even let me back inside to grab my own card. My friends asked him to stop. He ignored them. This is the second time their security has unfairly targeted me. The first time I had just stepped outside to take a phone call. The same guard ran after me and started accusing me of stealing -- but couldn't say what was supposedly stolen or who had complained, because nobody actually had. I told him my laptop and jacket were inside at the bar and that all the bartenders know me. He eventually apologized once it became obvious he had nothing. Same guy, same pattern, different night. Also worth knowing: my friend and I had just ordered around $100 in food and drinks at the end. Nothing finished. No refund offered, no apology, no manager. If management thinks letting one guard humiliate paying customers in front of their friends is good for business, here's your feedback. Plenty of better pubs in Arlington that actually respect the people

Fun and lively atmosphere, staff is super friendly, and the menu has a great variety of food items for all different tastes. There's definitely something for everyone! Their bar menu is awesome! On Mondays and Tuesdays they host Trivia. On Saturday nights they do karaoke. There's also two dart boards as well. It's a place you can go and vibe and wind down after a day at work. I usually am a regular as I go on Tuesdays for Trivia night. I like that the tables have QR codes codes so you can order directly from the table on your phone. Of course if you prefer the old-fashioned way, you can ways go to the cash register by the bar and place and order. I've had the pizza before and it rocks! My go-to is the pepperoni pizza or sometimes if the pizza of the month sounds good I'll get a few slices of that. The standard pizza is very NY-style. But they also have Detroit style which is pretty great as well. I've also tried the nachos, pretzel, French fries, chicken park sub, and the chicken tenders. But I gotta say I really enjoy the pizza at Quincy Hall the most!

We showed up an hour and a half before the game started and got the last table in the entire bar. If you know this place, you know it is huge. I knew it was a good option for watching the game, but I didn't realize everybody else knew too . Since my last visit years ago, they have switched to QR code orders -- unless you are sitting at the bar I'm guessing. As I said, the place was absolutely full, but there was never a long wait time between ordering and receiving food and drinks. They had a fun 20 wing platter for $25.99 with some unique flavors representing different countries... USA (Buffalo Garlic), Spain (pollo asado), South Korea (SPICY), and Mexico (Creamy Cilantro)... I think I got those right, but wow what a feast! Yeah, I didn't take a pic, I'm sorry lol. The cheapest cocktails were $6, but others ranged from $8-12, so not bad at all. Everyone had a great time and I forgot how fun it is. But my special someone is a 5 minute walk away, so I ought to be returning more regularly :). Oh, the only thing was that we had to ask for water and it wasn't brought otherwise. It was a hot day, and there were 6 of us, so we needed a lot of water haha. But a simple ask and it was brought out quickly. In my opinion, they should do it automatically though!

I did not want to eat fried or super unhealthy food since it was late but this place looked like the best option. We decided to sit at the bar area right by the entrance since it was empty. It did not take long for the bartender to approach us and offered drinks. Hubs and I both ordered beers on tap, which were delivered not too long after we ordered. I was in the mood for wings and decided to go for the boneless option since hubs only likes those and I definitely was not going to finish. I also wanted a veggie option so I went with the veggie wrap. Hubs ordered the Tex-Mex eggrolls. Our food arrived at an appropriate time and was correct. The food was okay but not out of this world, which we were expecting. We both enjoyed the veggie wrap though. This place is a good option for watching sports and if they're open late. The place is also big in size.

There was music, games and all the other diners. My server was pretty good but drinks and food was mediocre. WARNING-- if you're planning to order wings--just know that you only get 6 for $18 because the count isn't listed on the menu. I felt like I was taken advantage of because that's RIDICULOUS!!! I've never been charged that much for party wings, even at upscale restaurants. When my wings were sat down in a tiny bowl, I was livid.....I felt like it was highway robbery and definitely not worth the price. The only cool thing about this place was the free Photo Booth I noticed when leaving. It was free to take videos and pictures then send to your phone via text messages. I wouldn't recommend the food or drinks here because the price gouging is insane and there are way better places to eat and drink in the area. Also, there wasn't a Dj present because I kept hearing the same songs being played as if there was a playlist being played from a device of some sort. On a good note --the restrooms were pretty clean and they have board games to play on the first level where you enter at. It was ok, but I highly doubt I'd return.

It was like being a kid in a candy store, way more beer than one person could drink in years. They had a lot of local and regional breweries as well, plus solid selections from around the world. They also had a surprisingly large selection of NA and gluten free beers, which made some of my friends happy to be trying something new. It was all very organized and colorful as well, with wheeled ladders to get to the high stuff. There was a lot kept cold as well. My only main complaint is there were many beers that must be kept cold out on room temperature shelves, which will affect freshness and maybe even make some undrinkable. I did a mixed six pack and bought a variety case of a favorite brewery I can't get at home. Prices were reasonable as well. The staff was great, friendly and fast to help. Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.
