The staff were so nice and so quick to help me with what I needed and help me find additional products based on my individual cat's health limitations. They not only had the fresh frozen raw goat milk in the freezer, but also single serve packets where you add warm water to the powdered form. Even though my cat didn't like the goat milk, so nice to know it's available in our area! Pricing was more affordable than I thought as well. Staff also helped with finding the right bone broth and made other suggestions as well for other items I purchased as well. Staff was so helpful. So glad I found this little hidden gem in Loveland! Since it was my first time in store, they even gave me a free goodie bag to take home as a thank you gift!!! How sweet is that! Amazing! Clean, well lit, amazing animal loving staff!…read more The first thing I noticed when I walked in, was how clean the store is. Immediately after, I was greeted and welcomed in by the staff. It was my first time in, and I still felt the same way as when I'm welcomed into the home of my friends. After talking to the staff, you learn that they work there because they truly love the animals. I don't mean they take good care of the animals, I mean they truly love ALL of the animals. While I was there, one staff memeber was cleaning/transferring a spider home and the spider bit him. His reply was "so cute!". I purchased a bunch of crickets (150) and the staff bagged them in 5 separate bags. This gives them room to move around and breathe. It keeps them alive longer, but also shows the level of care the staff has for ALL the animals, even feeder crickets. I've purchased crickets for over a decade and this is the first place Ive ever been to that didn't just dump all of them into a single bag. Finally, the last thing that really stood out, was the placements all the animal habitats. They are housed in a way that the animals can't see into neighboring habitats. Reptiles don't like to see other reptiles. It causes a lot of stress due to predator/pray relations, as well as territorial issues. It's nice that Wild Things cares more about the animals, than the bottom dollar. Clean. Good staff. Caring staff. Competitive prices. What more can you ask for? Wild Things is about 45 min out of my way there, and 45 min back. There are closer places, but Wild Things is worth the drive because I truly feel they love scaled family as much as I do.

They make sure they are altered, have vaccines, microchip and any other care that they might need prior to adopting them out. They also are good at doing reference checks to do their best to make sure that the animals will be going to a good or appropriate home for them. As a volunteer, they have been wonderful to work with. i have 2 teens that i volunteer with and their lives have been much enriched by being able to walk the dogs. The staff at animal friends is friendly and helpful. And the training provided beforehand helps them to know you are committed to coming and being a regular at their facility. They took some down time for covid but have since began opening up volunteer slots. We highly enjoy working with them and i know many people who have adopted from them and loved the process!

Kayla was so friendly and helpful throughout the process and we adore the dog we ended up with.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with All Aboard Animal Rescue after fostering Humpty for…read morethree weeks and then trying to adopt him. I have fostered four dogs before him, so I am familiar with fostering and rescue expectations. I work from home, and Humpty was outside of his kennel most of the day. He went on daily walks, trips to the lake, outings, met other dogs, and was regularly exposed to new environments. Humpty is also a very timid dog. When I first got him, he was so nervous he struggled to even walk on hardwood floors. Over three weeks, he came out of his shell tremendously. So when I returned him and they later used the fact that he appeared fearful as evidence that he had not been properly socialized, I found that incredibly unfair. He had just been removed from the home and routine he had spent weeks getting comfortable with and was likely confused and overwhelmed. My adoption application was initially denied because of a misunderstanding with my lease. I worked with my landlord to clarify it, and they confirmed Humpty could be approved. After that, I was told other applicants might still be considered a "better fit." Then I was accused of potentially impersonating an All Aboard employee when obtaining my roommate's cat's veterinary records. That is not true. I called the vet because the rescue had repeatedly requested the records, gave the cat's information, and asked for them to be sent over. I never claimed to work for All Aboard. The vet's call records or transcripts should be able to verify exactly what I said. After I disputed that accusation, I was then told the "primary reason" I could not adopt Humpty was supposedly that he had not been properly cared for, trained, or socialized while with me. That completely contradicts my experience caring for him. What frustrated me most was how the reasons kept changing: veterinary records, then the lease, then other applicants, then the impersonation accusation, then claims about his care. But the part I still cannot believe is what happened at the end. After I expressed frustration with this entire process, adoption coordinator Aly Echanove sent me CSU mental-health and suicide-prevention resources and told me not to contact the rescue again. Nothing I said indicated that I was suicidal or in crisis. I was frustrated and upset about losing a dog I had cared for and bonded with. Sending a crisis line in response to a customer or foster expressing frustration is, in my opinion, wildly inappropriate, dismissive, and unprofessional. I was not even planning to leave a detailed public review until that happened. I genuinely think All Aboard Animal Rescue should seriously review Aly Echanove's conduct and whether she should continue handling foster and adoption communications. The way this interaction was handled--especially the decision to send suicide-prevention resources in response to criticism--was completely unacceptable to me. I have screenshots documenting the entire process. I genuinely loved Humpty and hope he ends up in a great home, but this was easily the worst experience I have had with an animal rescue, and I would not foster through this organization again.

We were not disappointed! The owner works very hard to keep her birds happy and healthy and seems to closely screen people who want to buy a bird from her (this is a very good thing - lots of people get birds without realizing the work that goes into them). She also keeps healthy, delicious bird food in stock; stuff you never see anywhere like PetCo. We've only had to order one kind of food online since finding this place. The toy selection is excellent as well. Lots of safe, fun bird toys for sizes from budgies all the way to large macaws. Fun things to chew, shred, and general be a bird with. We love this place and will be visiting often.
