This is "The Fix" a great barber shop in Lake Oswego. When I perform, so many people compliment my hair that I have to give credit goes to where it's due. They give you the complete rockstar treatment when you visit. They greet you with beer, wine, or sodapop. The place looks like an exclusive club. (Minus the cigar smoke.) Then you get to relax on plush leather sofas while rock music/videos pump through the speakers. All that and THEN comes the haircut. AWESOME! All the pleasantries but, NO attitude, just easy breezy conversation and great skill that comes with loads of practice. Chris & Nick and the rest of the staff are too cool. Ever since the location of my favorite barbershop near me closed down and another barbershop didn't cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, I decided to give this try a place. Overall, I can't say anything bad about my experience. When I walked into the barbershop, I was welcomed into the barbershop. I booked with Cindy and I want to say that Cindy is a barber I would definitely recommend. Her amazing personalty made my experience there amazing, and she also cut my hair exactly how I asked. She didn't take too much hair off the top, she made the sideburns even, and she made the neckline and edges look nice and not weird. I moved to Lake Oswego a year and a half ago, and have been coming to these guys ever since. From the minute you walk in, you're welcomed by whoever is working the front desk, and sometimes by everyone else as well. No matter what group of barbers/stylists are working, it's a positive and electric energy, and a very comfortable place to be. In the time I've been having my hair cut at The Fix, I've had just about every barber cut my hair. They're all great! At this point, I'm going in to see Nick on a weekly basis. He and Chris are a blast to chat with while they go about cutting hair. There was a time in history where men went to Barber shops for a social experience as much as anything else, and these guys are the coolest dudes to spend some time with, so they've preserved that concept in a modern setting. When you walk in, someone always offers you a drink, a comfortable couch to wait at if you show up early, and there's always great music playing and whatever sports game/program that is live at the time. Man this place... I always have a blast hanging out with Nick and Chris. We can talk about the craziest topics and always have a great time doing it. Every time I walk in, Nick always asks if I want an orange creme soda ( my favorite drink ). The music and atmosphere is also always fun and energetic. It's also a great place to relax while you wait if you have to ever wait. They also use a cool app called Vagaro that helps with scheduling and allows you to see the availability of the staff. All in all I've been too many different barbershops and this place is above and beyond. You have to try them out. The Fix can't be beat! Such great customer service! As soon as you walk in you are warmly welcomed by Melissa, who is just the sweetest. They even offer a complimentary beverage from an amazing selection of craft beers and artisan sodas. I love the modern feel of this stylish barbershop, definitely the kind of atmosphere you want to spend a couple hours of pampering in. The owner Chris is a hair genius. He always delivers exactly what I ask for. He does an awesome job on my blonde highlights and an excellent cut- this is coming from someone who is usually very picky about their hair. This is a review for the terrible job they did for my dad's haircut. How can the length of his sideburns be different? His hair was left really long at the top even though he specifically told the barber that it was too long and he wanted it cut, but it was never cut. His neckline had stray long hairs that were left untouched, and there was so clear fade. What happened? And why was there so many pieces of hair left on his shirt and face? I told him what I was up to, and to "have fun" with my hair. I'm very pleased with the crew cut, fade thingy he gave me. She is kindly honest, takes her time, and asks the right questions. She is skilled with all hair types. I have experienced multiple disastrous haircuts from many salons I got out of state before moving up to Oregon. Tried this place for the first time today with my two kiddos (6/8). We had Nick and he was fantastic. My son had a VERY BAD "Joe Dirt" style cut (thanks to his not so skilled Daddy) and Nick fixed it. My son did not want to cut his hair (He wanted to grow it out like Finn on Adventure time) and upon completion said out loud "I LIKE IT". That may not sound like much, but for my six year old that is a rave review. Nick took time to explain to him how he could "style" it and how he could grow it out properly. My daughter then asked if she could get her hair cut and Nick obliged. He did a GREAT job on her too. My kids sit pretty still, but I have had a hard time finding someone who can get her hair line straight. I just don't think people take as much care and time with kids as they do with adults, however this was not the case with Nick. He was precise and detailed. I will happily return and encourage others. As for the "Salon" Itself, it has a cool hip vibe. Soothing colors and an array of beverages to choose form. It's located on the back side of La Provenc, so plan to have lunch too. read more

Great barber shop! I recently took a job in the Lake Oswego area and needed to find a place to get my hair cut. I went to The Fix and Misty did a GREAT job! I'm very particular about my hair and when I sat down I explained in detail what I was looking for. It was probably more than she wanted to know.
