I reached out to this company back in September to get my laptop screen fixed. The number on Google was 301-751-5869 at the time. I prepaid for the part as they said they had to order it. On September 20th they called and left me a voicemail saying it was finally in stock after some sort of delay because originally they told me it wouldn't take that many days to arrive. The part arrived. I brought my laptop up to the mall and left it there for a few days. I had to keep calling to check on the progress of my laptop. I decided that one day I would just come up there since I didnt live that far from the store. I came to the mall and asked about the status of my laptop. He told me I could take it home but that they broke something different in the process of fixing my screen. The broke the "bezzle" so basically I cant close my la[top down all they way and have to be very careful with it while using it because the screen could fall. The placed tap on the screen to hold it up from falling apart and told me that they had ordered another bezzle and when it arrived they would call me so they could put it on. Because I use my laptop for work they told me it was fine to take my laptop home and to just becareful using it. I called the store back every couple of weeks trying to be patient. I would call every 2 weeks then i think i waited 3 weeks then another time i waited a whole month before I started to get frustrated and wanted answers. This time when I spoke with them they said they ordered it but it was taking a long time arriving, that it was hard to locate that part but it was in route and the moment it arrived they would call me back. So then a few days after Christmas I decided to go to the mall again and talk to them in person. I asked the guy at the desk where the part was for my laptop and explained the situation and he seemed nonchalant stating that they changed management and the people who use to work there no longer work there. Seemed very fishy and upsetting so I asked who the manager was and who was in charge of things and told them the last people said my part was on its way to the store. He basically told me he couldnt help me and that they changed thier number. Now when i look on google it says the store number is 240-633-9373. This is unacceptable and i deserve for my laptop to be fixed or this company owes me a brand new laptop for heir negligance on informing customers that they were getting rid of team members while parts where being ordered that customers were still waiting on. absolutely terrible experience. very polite people with terrible business skills. the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. you cannot believe anything they say. when I went to pick up my computer, after leaving it for repair, and instructed to pick it up, I was told upon arrival, OOPS after we looked at the computer this morning, you will need a new hard drive. Sorry for telling you to pick it up today. No call, email or text. This happen multiple times (over three). Excuses and the upsale is what you get to look forward to with this business. Save yourself the disappointment and headache, find another computer/cellphone repair business. they earned less than 1 star. I called The Fix Solutions on August 12, 2024, about a thumb drive that was no longer working and spoke with Mike. I dropped the thumb drive with Mike on August 29th and explained the situation to him again as a refresher. Mike called me on September 4th, and I picked it up September 6th and he explained to me that he tried to fix it but couldn't and recommended three Data Recovery companies that could possibly assist me with the issue. He also recommended external drives and a thumb drive to use in the future. Mike gave me great customer service and I would use the company again. read more

When in to get a screen repair but was determined that it was not needed. Once the phone was put together it appeared that all was good. Once I needed to screenshot or use Apple Pay the side button would not work. Took it back and the guy appeared that he could not get the screen off to start troubleshooting. After about 10 mins I asked for my phone back. They were not about to make the situation worse! read more

The place is an absolute joke!!! I GIVE IT ZERO STARS!!!!They have a good scam going! Took my old iPad in for a cracked screen repair to re-gift to a family member. Worked just fine when I took it in. Only issue was the screen. Got it fixed for $200+ and was happy at the time. This was more than I wanted to pay, but figured they knew what they were doing. Put a screen protector on it, boxed it up and gifted it to my dad. Did nothing other than add the protector. Days later there's a black line down the right side. Take it back within the 30 days and they charge me again to "fix" this new "issue" and tell me they will let me about a refund for the second service by last Thursday. Mind you, had a feeling, as I left out, it was going to be my tablet that was the problem and not their screen repair, but I had already committed to moving forward to make sure it was in working order to gift. I never heard back. SHOCKER!!! Called them and got no where and of course the "manager" is not available until Monday! SHOCKER! The person on the phone (would not be surprised if he was the manger) says the screen and LCD are two different issues, but I did NOT have an LCD issue when I brought it in! That's the damn problem! It's not their repair that caused the problem, according to them. Again SHOCKER! I could have purchased a new basic model and Apple care for what they charged. USE THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Sorry to say but I got a new screen because I broke mine they charged me 80 for an 8 plus and the screen they put on has a problem where if I press a tad to hard the pixels in the corner fluctuate and there isn't refunds or exchanges so I got robbed of 80 never again will not choose a better place and try to save a buck read more

My husband brought his phone into The Fix & let me tell you, it was in HORRIBLE condition. The tech fixed it & it was as good as new. I cracked my screen horribly a few days ago & The Fix was the first place I thought of. The tech fixed my screen in a timely manner & even threw in some extras :) Needless to say, I definitely recommend The Fix. read more

The cases are mostly 15, but aren't even worth that. The case I bought wasn't able to use most chargers with it because the hole for the charger port was too small. To top it off the case broke after 2 weeks of using it. & of course there are no exchanges or refunds and I see why! read more

we took our iPad in about a year ago and they did a great job replacing the screen. never has any problems. took it back to them to replace the battery before Christmas. there were numerous excuses why it never got done. finally after weeks of complaints, we were told that they had replaced the battery but because the previous fix so notch, the touchscreen no longer work. they blamed the issue on the 'stuck' button which was never stuck. I understand mistakes but the constant stream of lies make them unreliable. i used to trust them and they were my default for phones and tablets. they kept my 125, so I guess they made a profit. just lost a good customer read more

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT take your device to this store. I took my iPad Air for screen repair and was charged 200 dollars. I picked up the iPad and it seemed ok. Literally 2 days later the iPad had a line going down the screen and it no longer worked. The screen was pressing buttons on its own, opening apps on its own, etc. I called the store and they told me that the line was caused by pressure or damage of some type. The iPad was barely used for those 2 days and mostly just sat on our dining room table. No damage, was done to the iPad. (Looking at other reviews I see other people have had this same problem! The material used is cheap and damages literally so easily). I was told by the "store manager" that it could not be covered under the warranty because of the pressure line. I was changed another 120 dollars for a new screen. I picked up the iPad and they had the touch ID from the iPad taken out and was in a plastic bag! They said they tried several screens and couldn't get the Touch ID to work! That I could bring it back and they would attempt to put the Touch ID back into the iPad. What?!? Then upon getting it home I attempted to put the iPad in its case. I applied basically no pressure just to put the iPad back in its case and the screen cracked under my thumb! I have owned several iPads and I have NEVER had a screen crack by simply putting it in its case. I immediately called the store. I was told it was my fault I should have heated the case before putting the iPad in to make the case more malleable. I have NEVER needed to do this. I was not applying excessive pressure. I'm fact I did something similar to our other iPad in the house and of course it didn't crack! I told them the screens they are using are cheap and lot of good quality. I was told there was nothing they could do, that I would need to pay ANOTHER 200 dollars to get it fixed. I took my iPad to Apple and they told me that the screen placed on was cheap. There is no reason it should have cracked under my thumb. And then then the iPad stopped turning on! Now I have paid a total of 320 and my iPad is in worse condition then when I brought it. It won't turn on! The Touch ID doesn't work! And they will do nothing to help. I asked to speak to the owner and was told "he doesn't want to get involved". What?!? It's your store why would you not want to get involved. They don't stand by the quality of their product and they will not help. They will always have an excuse as to why the warranty can not be used. I've seen this same complaint on other reviews. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. read more

My friend went in to get his Samsung s9 repaired on a Friday, we were told the screen and charging port would be in on Saturday they then charged my friend 140 bucks to order the parts. We came back on Saturday only to be told it would be in Sunday, we called Sunday and they told us that it would be in Monday and someone was PERSONALLY picking it up because we were waiting so long. We called Tuesday and where were told it still wasn't in so when I demanded my money back then they "had the screen" "it just came in" we went in to get it fix and were told we will be getting a discount because it took to long and that it would be done and ready in 2 hours, we waited around and went to get the phone and charged ANOTHER 140 bucks after they fixed it only for us to go home and his service isn't working any longer and his back is falling of his phone. I was rung up by another employee for the $280. 5 business days later, Im told they cant get the parts. I go to pick up my tablet and have to ask for a refund of my $280. I went to have my iPad fixed. I even called ahead. $89. I dropped it off at 5:00pm. I was told it would be ready by 6:30pm. At 6:24pm I returned to be told, "he's almost done" at which point the same employee sits down and starts to work on my iPad. Another customer then comes in to pick up her phone. So he stops to cash her out. "Wow that only took 45 min, that was quick." she says. WAIT...They never started mine!! Employee told me phones are faster to fix. Well yes, if you keep stopping to fix phones, you'll never get to mine. I stood there for another hour, yes an hour, while he fixed my iPad. Then has the nerve to charge me $99. NEVER GO HERE!
