This business is on the top of my retail and services list. I have used them for some pretty simple stuff, wiping a hardrive, cleaning up my old computer's insides. Great service! Quick, informative, and no B.S. I came in because my USB port was broken and Ali was completely honest, which is really hard to find around here. He said it was too expensive to fix the USB itself ($150) and I'd be better off using a USB adapter, which I bought for $12. I got a free diagnostic when other companies charge $50 or said it would take weeks to get the parts. And I didn't need an appointment. He also mentioned I have other computer problems because of the generic power cord I purchased and it would also be too expensive to fix. He added that I should consider buying the manufacturer cord off Amazon and highlighted the benefits/drawbacks of whatever I decided. Now I can actually do work from home again, instead of drive 30 minutes across town to access my work email account! I will definitely be coming here again! read more

Came to Computer and Cellular (this review is in reference to the customer service/attitude received at this location after stopping by to pickup an item. As I arrive to complete my transaction the item I reserved was provided to someone else. The issue is with the customer service provided...the young man working at the time was very nonchalant and more focused on letting me know that it 'wasn't their fault' than working on a solution. I found this store based on Yelp reviews and they are all accurate. This store is amazing. I came in with my iphone that had a cracked screen, corroded motherboard and broken cameras. Mohammed was honest in that he might not be able to fix the phone and didn't charge me first to tell me that after. Mohammed worked on my phone for an hour and repaired all parts including the camera for $165. His prices are significantly lower than others in the area. One other store quoted me $120 for just the screen. I will definitely be going back to this store to repair my tablet. Thank you Mohammed for saving me the cost of purchasing a new phone. read more

This very small business local to me and supported by me and many friends is outstanding with customer service, honesty, and very decent prices for services and products. Malik was extremely helpful today and as I am leaving his shop I felt the need to voice to text this review as I'm driving. As they say, "don't judge a book by its cover." A run-down little shop, filled with what can only be called computer scraps, nestled next to a sketchy 7-11: Doesn't sound great, does it? But go inside, talk to the tech, and get your tablet repaired. I broke LCD on an iPad Air and Apple wanted $300+ to fix it. Computer & Cellular (or, as they also go by, "Drop & Fix Computer") did it for about one-third of the price and it was ready in a couple of days. Normally, it would have been a couple of hours, but they happened to be out of stock. I'm pretty rough on phones and tablets, so I'm sure I'll be back. I don't know how they do it at this price... they also have a decent selection of used phones and tablets for sale at great prices. read more

He then directs you to younger tech-savvy gentleman. This man is a life saver. He fixed my (utterly shattered beyond recognition) iPhone 6 screen in under 20 minutes. And he did it with a SMILE. What's more is he then offered to fit a glass proactive casing on the outside of the screen for future slippery phone mishaps. He is a truly honorable homo-sapien. Walked in this morning right after they opened. My phone was fixed in about 45 minutes for a reasonable price. It was cheaper than using Tmobile's insurance. My Dell computer's hard drive crashed recently. Although it was 5 yrs old, it had an I7 Dual Core processor in it and was still quite capable and worth repairing. I brought the machine to C & C and worked with Malik. He confirmed my "diagnosis" and detailed my options. He could have gotten me up and running within 24 hrs but I wanted a special order digital drive (same brand/type he recommended, just larger capacity) . Malik installed the new digital HD, loaded Windows 10, and cleaned/checked the entire unit. The PC is now better than new with greatly enhanced speed and performance. Took my iPhone here after I was told by the Apple Store that it had evidence of water damage. I tried one of those cell phone repair kiosks at the mall and they couldn't fix it. I was having a lot of trouble with my MacBook connecting to my Adobe Creative Cloud which I need in order to do about half of my work now that I am now working from my home during Covid. After speaking with a software company that I was questioning was perhaps the reason I couldn't connect to the Adobe cloud and even had Adobe try to help me, I still couldn't get it to work. In a panic I looked up computer repair places and this one is close to where I live so I drove there thinking they may not even be able to help me because it was more like a "uhmmm, I dont know how to turn my computer on sort of feeling". However, when I arrived and told Malik, I believe one of the managers, not only did he not look at me in that way I was scared someone would, as if I was having a blank moment, but he seemed intrigued and really wanted to find out what was up. Long story short, after a few days they were able to not only get it working but also were able to find a fresh new start with connecting to my Adobe cloud. They went even an extra mile and talked with Adobe themselves. I asked how much for the repair, and was so astonished and in disbelief of generous compensation I was told. After spilling coffee on my work MacBook and trying to take it to more well known sources of IT support to salvage the hard drive (and finding no one had time to pull/check the hard drive for 3-5 days) Malik absolutely saved the day. Within 15 minutes he confirmed my data was intact, built a complete backup within a day, and even rebuilt the computer within a week. While time was more essential for me than cost, a pleasant surprise was that he also did this all for a fraction the cost I had been quoted by the more well known vendors. I went to this place with high expectations. I went in and didn't have to wait to be serviced. Dropped off my phone and went home to wait because it's like a 5 minute drive back and forth to my house. Came back to pick it up and was satisfied but when I looked closely the speaker to hear people when you have the phone to your ear was kinda off. I let that slide but a month later the screen starts to pop out on the corner. I thought that was strange so I just pressed down on it and it popped back in. A couple days ago I noticed the screen starts to pop out again but now it's from corner to corner on 3 corners so the screen looks like it's hovering. I tried pushing it back in but it didn't work so I was going to head back to the place and get it fixed. The other day my phone gets snagged in my pocket when I tried pulling it out I heard two pop noises and ended up dropping my phone and cracking the screen but before it fell I saw something strange happen. The screen had completely come off the phone. How does the screen come off the phone? The only thing holding it together is some thick flat cable inside. Still works but I'm not trying to have my screen dangle everywhere I go. I'm going to head in today and see what they will do but the screen peeling off like that is unacceptable. read more
