The business charges the FULL price to repair the phone before the repair is even started. All other businesses charge you after the repair is done/made not before the repair is even started, Do not go there. One of my 20' XLR microphone cables failed while I was doing a remote recording session...scratches and crackling from a short circuit. I brought the cable to Elman for repair. He found the problem and fixed it. The "extra mile" was his applying heat shrink to the soldered leads which has two benefits: - stabilizes the leads against strain, and, should they get pulled again, prevents them from touching and should prevent electrical short circuiting. This attention to detail is all too unusual in today's marketplace. Kudos to Elman.
