I needed to get the screen for my iPhone XR replaced, so I came to Yelp to find a service person. Tristan responded to me in a timely manner, and we began chatting about the details of my repair. He did offer a phone deal if I was paying more than $60 per month for my phone bill, and I declined, as I pay less than $60, at this time. Tristan suggested I could either buy my own replacement screen or send the money to him to get the screen, and I decided to purchase a replacement screen on my own. I received the screen and let Tristan know. At first, I thought I would be able to get the repair done last Saturday, but had to move it to Sunday morning. That Saturday evening before, Tristan and I discussed planning to meet at a residential address at 9 a.m. Sunday morning, and I thought he would have already been at the address when I arrived. I made my way on time, with the replacement screen and my phone in hand, to the designated location. I knocked on the door, and a cat jumped in the window, peering out, wondering who was this unknown human knocking on the door. When no one answered the door, I called Tristan, told him I was at the address, and he informed me that he was in the city and 20 minutes away, and he would be there shortly. I actually had to wait 30+ minutes past our agreed upon appointment time. Tristan did share his location with me as he got closer, then he finally arrived. He actually lived next door, so I went next door, gave him the screen and the phone. I asked if I could come inside and wait; however, he said he didn't allow people to come into his house. He suggested I could go to the nearby PG Mall; however, I told him I did not drive there but used rideshare. Now, I wasn't expecting that, but I understand that people choose to run their households the way they wish and let--or not let--people inside. Thankfully, it was neither raining nor snowing, so I just sat on his stoop as he went inside and worked. It took maybe 20 or 25 minutes, but he eventually popped out and handed me back my phone with the screen replaced. I was originally supposed to pay $50, which is very affordable in and of itself, then Tristan lowered it to eventually $30, then $20. Then, he said that, since I bought my own screen and had been very patient, he would not charge me. I was pleasantly surprised! I offered to send him a tip, but he said he didn't want a tip and just asked that I leave a review on Yelp. I would use Tristan again, as he did excellent work (and again, no charge!), but perhaps meet somewhere in public versus a house. read more

I dropped my phone & the screen cracked so bad it wouldn't stop flickering! I was told to throw it away by some clowns trying to sell me a new phone but thankfully I ran into TJ the next day! Even though I live in another county than he does he promise he'd take a look at it & true to his word he came out to my area & after he took a look at my phone he explained what was wrong, the cost to repair the phone, & asked me if I wanted to have it fixed. The price wasn't bad & he sounded confident so I pulled the trigger & got my phone fixed! Now I'm grateful as can be because I saved a lot of money by not starting a New Phone Payment Plan & only using a 3rd of what I would've paid in insurance to get my phone fixed like NEW! 10 out of 10 for these skills & saving me Money! read more
