I don't recommend this place. After attempting to change my charging port myself, my screen would no longer turn on. I took it to this place because it was across from the Apple store. I asked how much it would cost to repair, because I wanted to compare their price with the one I was given at Lenny's Repair Shop up the block. I was told by the clerk that I could leave my phone, come back in about a half hour so they could take a look at it, and they would tell me what was wrong with it and give me an estimate. When I came back, the tech told me my phone was fixed and my bill was $100. When I complained that I didn't agree to have the work done, all I asked for was an estimate, the tech responded "What's the matter, you don't have $100?" I explained that besides the rudeness of the question, that was not the point, but ended up paying just to get out of there. Within two weeks my phone was ghost touching (i.e. opening apps, generally doing things I wasn't asking it to do). I wasn't able to get back to the store for another couple weeks, and when I did, I was a few days past the 30 day warranty so they refused to look at it. Unpleasant experience all around. When I first went here, I was extremely happy. They fixed my broken phone screen is less than an hour and it was a little cheaper compared to other phone repair places I've been to. However, the day after I got my phone back, I noticed that the flashlight and both cameras weren't working. So, when I went back a few days after, they told me that they wouldn't fix it because the internal hardware tends to not work on older phones (I have an iPhone 6). It's apparently just a coincidence that the cameras and flashlight just happened to stop working a day after I got my screen repaired here. I will never be returning here. read more

If I could give Zero stars I surely would!!! THE FIX store in the 2nd floor of the Mall are thieves. I left a deposit for a new battery for an iPhone. I was told it would be delivered in two days. I said if it wasn't, I had to go elsewhere because I was going away. I was told not to worry they always get deliveries and the phone would be fixed. I called in two days and was told three times it wasn't in and they would call me. They refused to return my deposit. So I followed the YELP advice and went to HEALIX on New Dorp Lane. They fixed the phone in an hour for less than the cost at the FIX. I highly recommend HEALIX on New Dorp Lane only 15 minutes from the Staten Island mall. Do not go to THE FIX. They are rude thieves!!!' Take the time to drive to Healix on New Dorp Lane. They are polite, reasonable and do great work. read more

I ended up having to go to Apple which I should have done from the beginning- that was my mistake. I would have given them zero stars if I could. I fixed my screen, replaced the battery, bought a screen protector, and a case. They charged me twice for a case. When I went back to the store, they wouldn't give me a refund for ten bucks after I spent over $100, claiming that it was for the screen protector. Then the actual screen lifted off my phone because they put the screws in wrong and the screen broke again, not even the screen protector! The "replaced" battery keeps dying. These people do not know what they are doing!! Scam artists!! I would go anywhere else than go here to fix anything!!! read more

The pricing are out of the world-- $375 lowest to fix a screen, I might as well invest in a new phone. The phone case they sell here are Avg $20-$25, if you go on eBay you can find the same one for $2-$8(Max) but I understand that Rent is expensive and you gotta pay bills and such. The staff here are kinda friendly. You ask a question and they nod or say NO. One word answer, fast and easy type response. read more

I had them fix a few devices, an iphone 5 screen and battery, and they were very good about removing a broken off charger form my son's iPad3. I recently brought them back my iPad3 after my son dropped it. It was a quick fix, and all was well. Until we removed the tape. It immediately cracked... and when I brought it back to them, they basically blamed us for the damage. Now... it's not just a crack... it's completely separating from the body. Arrogant manager. Brought sons cell phone in to fix screen . Was told screen protector comes with repair. After the repair was told screen protector cost $10. Son noticed small chip on top of phone when he got it home . Thought it was the screen protector . After some time realize there was no screen protector and crack started to spread . A couple of days later went to the mall and spoke with the manager and said the kid did it. I told him I believed it was the tech because where the crack was on the top and the kid noticed it right away . Told me it was impossible maybe the kid sat on it in school . The receipt they give out does not have their name on it it doesn't have the date it was fixed or the reason why it was fixed . Should never have paid in cash. Do not recommend this place at all . They called mall security and the NYPD . The kids had the phone for almost 2 years never had a problem the screen breaks it's brought in for repair and the next day the screen is broken again you do the math . Always deal with a bigger store that has a better policy. Sometimes you might have to pay more but in the end well worth it read more
