We must have stayed nearly 45 minutes chatting because we enjoyed each other's company so much. Service, kindness and professionalism could not have been better. She found it at the Ocoee store on display as it had been discontinued. The manager Matt Miceli was going to Orlando and he stopped on his way to get this art and drive it to Lady Lake the following day for me to pick up at a much closer store. I loved this so much I wanted another one as it would be perfect in my guest bedroom. However, this was discontinued so there was only 1 showing in Florida. Kellie didn't give up--she called and emailed multiple City Furniture stores throughout Florida in an effort to track it down. One of those emails reached Shannon Gazzier at the Sarasota store. I explained that he can not charge me an install price of the total amount of tile purchase, he can only charge me for the tile ACTUALLY installed. They are overcharging EVERY customer by the 10% overage that they purchase. It's a SCAM. They apparently do it with carpet as well. People only pay for what's installed not for what's purchased! SCAMMING THE ELDERLY.

We called BatterBee, and a young man came out, knew exactly what was causing the leak, and got right to fixing it. Never had another problem. This year, 2025, we decided because the house was aging and it was now after Hurricane season, we decided to replace our roof. Anthony Bax came out, explained what the project would involve, and the cost. We signed right away, knowing we had the Right company for the replacement of our roof. They took all the precautions to safeguard our shrubs, flowerbeds, and windows, covering them with netting. They even laid a tarp down in the driveway before bringing in their dumpster to collect the old roofing shingles. In two days, we had a new roof. The first thing I noticed was how quiet the house had become. We live 2-3 blocks from the four railroad crossings where the train horn alerts each and every time at each crossing. We can no longer hear the trains. We had our house painted last year ( 2024 ) in a light gray. We chose " Pacific Ocean Shingle in a two-tone gray color in Owens Corning shingles and couldn't be more pleased with the results of the new roof. We also got a lifetime warranty against Leaks, with all materials and labor covered. Our Warranty is Transferable, which is a great selling point when we are ready to sell.

My family hired The Floor Shoppe to install wood flooring, bathroom tile and carpet into our home. We were so impressed with the quality and customer service. Someone met us at the house to show us samples in the space and helped us pick the perfect finishes for the home. They gave us suggestions and were amazing communicators. The Floor Shoppe went above and beyond to lay the floor perfect in a dated home, which was in desperate need of an update. They met with us regularly during the installation process to discuss next steps and made the install worry free. The final product turned out better than we could have even visualized. Mike gave us a great start with ideas and options for our master bath remodeling. Carlo then stepped in as project manager for the job, coordinating all aspects including tile work,plumbing,wallboards and floorboards. There was a delay in shipment of tile from Italy making for a six week delay in starting the project,but we were on a tight time schedule.That's when Karen stepped in and saved the day. Karen gave us options to get around the delay and the remodeling was started the next week. The project was completed in the time frame we needed to have it completed and it turned out great. Thomas did an excellent job with the estimate and detailed scope of work (SOW). Two days after install it rained and our lanai leaked. Water all over the new floor. Not one bit of damage! Just a $1500.00 repair bill for the roof, ouch. We are very happy with our choice of East Coast and the floor product. Note: I do not believe that ProGen is a DIY type product due to it's rigid warranty requirements.

He told me that he will prepare an estimate, but before the plumber would come out, I needed to pay a nonrefundable $500 for all the work he already had did. Having slow business, they skip the payment later and let the plumber come out anyways. I also wanted to replace my pocket door with old French doors of the same size as the original door. That was part of the original estimate. Another person came out with Frank and looked at my bathroom. They insisted that I would buy the vanity from their company as Frank told me that's where they make the money. Stupid comment from his side. The vanity they offered to me as a custom made would have been the same quality of the same item online, but $1,000 more expensive. So, I asked for an estimate without the vanity. They took it out but added $2,000 to the labor. When I asked why I was told it was for the French doors which were already in the original estimate, but because they would cause so much extra work. That's when I knew that they were trying to rip me off. My current contractor is putting those doors in for me for $300. When Frank from Wood Kitchen & Bath asked me why they did not get the job, I told him that he lost my trust! Something to consider hiring this company!
