I have used Mike Scott in the past and don't remember being gouged for the work…read more He actually came after hours a couple months ago to fix a leak in my bathroom which turned out to be the faucet that he couldn't do anything about because the hose that was leaking was part of the faucet So he said get new faucets So I finally got some new faucets they said yes would work but the charge just to replace 2 bathroom faucets was like 585$ plus they wanted another 88 $ just to check on a slow draining sink which was one of the sinks he had to replace the faucet on So I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this picture but I can't afford his trip to Tahiti or his wife's Lois Voiton So I'm getting someone more reasonable I mean WTH??? God forbid I asked him to replace the 2 toilet seats too The bill would have hit like over 700$ I will never use them again that's ridiculous not to mention these faucets are easy to install as most of the reviews on them people were doing it themselves with no issues and the toilet seats are super easy as well whatever I'm certain I can find someone else to do this very simple job for me and not price gouge me Good luck if you decide on this company And I wonder why I was asked if they built my house? I feared a complicated drainage diagnosis and possibly a very expensive repair. I had already worked myself into believing this might involve cameras, locating equipment, drainage plans, excavation, and who knows what else. Jeremy took one look at the situation and said, essentially, "Nope." The problem was simple, and so was the solution. He explained that the pop-up drain was doing what it was designed to do, but the excess water had found an easier path underground, which also explained a soft depression nearby (this was causing a lot of soil erosion on my neighbor's property). He then spent a great deal of time walking me through the remedy: where to dig, how deep and wide to make the area, how to use gravel and plants, and how to install deeper edging so the water would disperse properly instead of gushing toward my neighbor's property. I asked a lot of questions. Jeremy answered every one patiently, then went over the plan a second and third time because I wanted to make sure I understood. He physically mapped everything out so I could clearly understand what needed to be done. There was no attempt to sell me camera diagnostics, unnecessary cleaning, excavation, or an expensive drainage system. He charged only the $79 trip fee and nothing more. That kind of honesty is increasingly rare. Jeremy could have turned my anxiety into a padded invoice, but instead gave me a practical, inexpensive solution and made certain I understood it before he left. This is exactly the kind of company people hope they are calling. I felt so relieved that I was prompted to reciprocate his honesty by writing this review.

We called BatterBee, and a young man came out, knew exactly what was causing the leak, and got right to fixing it. Never had another problem. This year, 2025, we decided because the house was aging and it was now after Hurricane season, we decided to replace our roof. Anthony Bax came out, explained what the project would involve, and the cost. We signed right away, knowing we had the Right company for the replacement of our roof. They took all the precautions to safeguard our shrubs, flowerbeds, and windows, covering them with netting. They even laid a tarp down in the driveway before bringing in their dumpster to collect the old roofing shingles. In two days, we had a new roof. The first thing I noticed was how quiet the house had become. We live 2-3 blocks from the four railroad crossings where the train horn alerts each and every time at each crossing. We can no longer hear the trains. We had our house painted last year ( 2024 ) in a light gray. We chose " Pacific Ocean Shingle in a two-tone gray color in Owens Corning shingles and couldn't be more pleased with the results of the new roof. We also got a lifetime warranty against Leaks, with all materials and labor covered. Our Warranty is Transferable, which is a great selling point when we are ready to sell.

I brought this to the attention of one of the owners, Matt. He refused to change the estimate they provided. They attempted to charge for 1109 sf when the space only measures (by their measurements) 1003 sf. The explanation was that the customer is paying for the excess tile required to install the floor tile. (Waste due to cuts). I explained that he can not charge me an install price of the total amount of tile purchase, he can only charge me for the tile ACTUALLY installed. They are overcharging EVERY customer by the 10% overage that they purchase. It's a SCAM. They apparently do it with carpet as well. People only pay for what's installed not for what's purchased! SCAMMING THE ELDERLY.
