We have been to The Flower Box quite a few times over the years and are always happy with the quality of flowers! When we go, our kids usually put a bouquet together. The staff is so awesome with being patient and letting the kids choose the flowers they want in the bouquet (we usually give a price range). We also love how the staff will give some ideas about what to add in to increase the beauty. We just appreciate how fun they make the experience for all of us! in a last minute effort to find a nice flower arrangement for my wife on Valentine's Day, I came across The Flower Box, while searching in Yelp. Unfortunately I arrived at an address where the shop is no longer located. I called the number listed in Yelp and spoke to a charming lady, who gave me the shop's current address and specific directions to a location not too far from where I initially landed. The shop is quaint and had many arrangements from which to choose. I found a beautiful one for a reasonable price with the help of one of the very pleasant employees. I'll remember The Flower Box the next time I am in search of flowers to present to my wife. By the way, she loved her Valentine's Day arrangement. I ordered corsage for my son for his 1st homecoming which I found a pic on the company website. will insert after my rant. The pic shows that the corsage would be with roses. When I got there the lady who was there said what I was getting was carnations In my head I was like hmm that's not what was on the picture I didn't want to argue with her since I was already running behind schedule. When I spoke to the lady to order it I specifically asked for a certain corsage and asked she if they would be made with roses. It would have been nice to get a call that they were not gonna give me one with roses so I could have called someone else I was totally blind sided. I will not use this company again. I selected a Teleflora arrangement for Valentine's Day to send to my mother who lives in an area assisted living community. The florist in Williamsburg, where I live, wired this request to The Flower Box in Woodbridge with specific instructions, including the Teleflora reference number and the arrangement name. The arrangement that was delivered to my mother did not resemble what I had requested at all, in fact, it didn't look as if a floral designer had been anywhere near it. When I emailed an image of this arrangement to the Williamsburg florist who wired the order to The Flower Box; the feedback I received was, "I have to agree that it is not the prettiest of arrangements." In addition, the callback from The Flower Box staff-person was the most unprofessional I've ever received from a retail business. read more

My mom ordered flowers for my birthday. She was very specific about it having NO vase (a low centerpiece was ordered) and she paid extra for delivery and confirmation. They left a bouquet of flowers (in a tall cheap vase) on my doorsteps and NEVER rang the bell or called. I was inside my house all day long and they sat on the porch in the sun for HOURS. In addition, she paid way too much for them in my opinion (I've seen better arrangements at Wegmans for a fraction of the cost.) Finally, the bouquet was completely wilted within five days even though the stems were trimmed appropriately and always watered. I can't imagine using this business in the future. read more

The arrangements were beautiful, great color, and they really put the exclamation point on the wedding. Johanna sat down with us to craft a plan to get the arrangements we wanted, at prices that were within our budget. She was attentive to our requests and very knowledgeable about her flowers when it came to making substitutions and matching colors/textures. Johanna arrived to the wedding location, on time, quickly completed her work, and it all looked great. While Johanna is very talented, and we loved the end results, we did have some communication problems as our date got closer. Some emails were not responded to promptly and outreach from our coordinator was mostly ignored. For us, this was unnecessary stress given the long list of other things we needed to attend to. read more

The Flower Box made all the Bridal party floral arrangements for my wedding and when I say they did a fabulous job, I mean it!! The flowers were exactly what I wanted. Jenna sat down with us, took our colors scheme and created some amazing arrangements. Many of the guest commented on how beautiful the flowers were and her advice on my Bridal bouquet was totally "On Point"! Even their delivery service was outstanding. We got to the venue and couldn't find the flowers, called them only to learn that they had dropped them off and they were already dropped off and placed in the refrigerator. My mother ordered two flower arrangements on Saturday morning, 3/30/2013. Neither could be delivered the next day, Easter Sunday, according to the sales person. My mother agreed to have them delivered on Monday. One of the arrangements arrived at it's destination, about 5 miles away on Monday. The other was never delivered a couple DOORS away from the Flower Box. The delivery address was 13910 Hedgewood and The Flower Box is at 13885 Hedgewood. She called them to ask why the flowers were never delivered and was told they "couldn't find the address". Had she not called The Flower Box they would have never delivered the flowers or even called anyone. The flowers were delivered late Tuesday after the phone call, full charge. Do not use this shop. They do not care whether they deliver your flowers or not. read more
