Online ordering is a very simple process. One of the only places that do delivery to the Springfield area. I would definitely try to pick an arrangement that has long stemmed flowers that give the vavavoom you want if the recipient is receiving a nice surprise! I chose the hummingbird arrangement (Premium version) but didn't realize it would be more compact and smaller but that's my own fault. The flowers looked relatively fresh and vibrant. Woke up Sunday morning with the bright idea of a DIY milkbath to celebrate my daughter's 6th month of life (Yes-I'm that EXTRA first time mom!) I had no clue it'll be so difficult finding a florist that would be open on Sunday. I learned quickly that most are closed, but low and behold, here comes Flower Den with the save of the day! They open from 10am-1pm on Sundays and I was there at 10:05! I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed any help. I explained that I was looking for pink & purple flowers and was directed on where to go. What I appreciated about this shop was that she was helpful, but not overbearing helpful. Told me to get her if I needed help with anything. I eventually needed help narrowing down my selection and she was super helpful with that. After narrowing it down, she took me up to the register, told me I had a great eye on creating arrangements and sent me on my way. Upon exiting, I noticed Flower Den sold big plants as well, so I plan on going back when I have more time on my hands. Great experience here and will definitely return. read more

Awesome experience from beginning to end! Called in from out of state to have same day birthday flowers delivered to my mom in Kingstowne and Kelly was incredibly helpful and accommodating. As I was looking up different arrangements on their website, she was going through their inventory to verify what they had available that day. That's awesome since many companies will advertise something but end up sending something totally different w/o even letting you know that they didn't have the appropriate flowers in stock. Well $142 later and guaranteed shipping before or by 12 my gift never arrived. I ordered flowers on Monday evening to be delivered for Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30, I received a call that they were busy with other orders and were unable to get to mine. Unfortunately there was no other day acceptable to gift the flowers. UNACCEPTABLE! I've worked in a flower shop before and it was an easy bouquet. If the order was unable to be fulfilled, I should have been called earlier so that I could have sent the flowers as a "same day" order through a different florist. Instead, my friend received NO flowers because of their incompetency and inconsiderate action to inform me in an appropriate time manner. I came in needing some arrangements for my sister's 40th birthday party that same night. I had no idea what to get. Brittny was kind and understanding and had the owner come out and talk to me and show me some options. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because the delivery driver, young man with glasses, was visibly under the influence of marijuana. Left the whole porch smelling for 15 minutes. I understand it's legal to smoke in Va but I hope that Flower Den does not condone this type of behavior. read more

I'm so glad I found this florist. I was last minute in ordering and worried I wouldn't have this bouquet in time. I called them 5 minutes before closing to discuss what we wanted.
