    Leftover guacamole
    Melody C.

This is the only "Mexican" food place nearby. I tried their Quessabirria tacos and "street" corn and guacamole. The beef in the tacos had NO seasoning at all. Tasted like it was boiled in plain water. They included a "sauce" which looked and tasted like plain broth. This is not birria. Birria includes seasonings like chiles, onions, peppers and spices! The broth should be a deep burnt red, and not look like a clear liquid. The "street" corn was nothing but a burned on the outside corn with a plain mayo and grated cheese sprinkled with lime juice. The guacamole was drowned in lime juice with some chopped tomatoes and red onions. No jalepenos or cilantro. I literally packed the majority of it up to feed to my kids and even they wouldn't eat it. Waste of $30!

This was my first visit, and my kids opted for McDonald's and I needed real food- so tacos it was! The inside is super cute. And they have an outside deck for dining. I called in my order- staff was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. Food came out quick, it was about a 15 minute wait. I ordered the queso and the flying pigs tacos- both delicious. The queso had a little kick, which was great but the real star were the chips, warm and salty! Honestly such a good chip! I could eat them everyday. The tacos I asked for corn tortillas- came with shredded pork, roasted pineapple, white onion and cilantro with a green type salsa on the side. It had great flavor and texture- added no heat, but was delicious. My only criticism about the tacos were they came super oily, I don't know if it was the meat oil or if they had dipped the tortilla, either way, only flaw. Otherwise absolutely delicious. Overall if I lived local, this would definitely be my Spot. They have a huge drink selection and lots of delicious margarita choices! Unfortunately they don't do it to go. If you're looking for good food, friendly staff and a great hang out spot, you've found it.

We just adored this place when we found it going through the city. Very cute decor and the signs out front draw you in. We got the just in queso app and shared the fat guy in a little coat/taco like that taco place. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. I got a strawberry margarita and they were more than happy to customize a drink for my Hubby to enjoy. Great customer service. We will patronize this small business the next time we're in the area.

The Flying Taco offers a relaxed friendly atmosphere where everybody is welcomed! Fantastic food, nice choice of rotating beers on tap along with a selection of excellent Mexican & domestic beers! Service is excellent and professional. Always enjoy my visits. Recommend the patio or the roof deck during the warmer weather. The fall colors rock the view!!

Stumbled upon this place when we drove in for an errand. The location is great- right on the river. They have indoor and upstairs patio dining. We did the latter. It was quiet and peaceful up there. The guacamole was probably the best we've ever had. The tacos were packed with meat but mine were missing the pineapple salsa which had been advertised on the menu. Regardless, they were delicious! Perfect lunch portions

Bottom line up front, the Flying Taco rocks! Walking through the door we received a warm welcome from the staff and were quickly seated on a early Sunday with no reservation needed. Ambience - the Taco was a complete re-do of the previous business, and it's welcoming, warm and has a cool vibe. New garage doors, a great bar, a beautiful gas fireplace and plenty of glass to view the river and the mountain on the opposite shore, the Taco's design is equipped to welcome guests winter or summer and everything in between. Upstairs sports a classic shuffleboard table, darts and a porch (weather permitting). Food - the menu is concise and gets to the point. You're in a restaurant that has no delusions of grandeur, well prepared, good food, served hot we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Entrées we ordered: - Fish Tacos - mahi mahi with a nice sauce, well prepared. Shrimp Tacos - our favorite, crisp tempura coating and nice sauce made these a home run! Chicken Tacos - marinated chicken breast. The tendency is to overcook chicken, not so here! Perfectly prepared and tasty. - Sides we ordered - cilantro rice with lime, small bowl but delicious and a nice accompaniment. French Fries - reminiscent of pommes frites - the very thin French preparation, these were also very nice, hot and freshly prepared. - Desserts - we enjoyed the Flan - perfect and nicely paired with roasted hazelnuts; Chocolate Cake with espresso ice cream - this was excellent though it is very rich (it was our favorite!); and finally Tres Leches Cake which was moist and the middle ground between the previous two - not too rich, light and wonderful flavor and a more elegant option than the Flan (though I personally had the flan and enjoyed it very much). Location - overlooking the Susquehanna River and enjoying a corner location, it's perfect. Also, a parking garage is next door in case there's no street parking. If you think a small menu is a problem, consider this...a smaller menu allows excellence to occur. Larger menus offer more but sacrifice top notch food, I prefer the focused approach and The Flying Taco is well on their way to a trajectory which will entertain Towanda guests for a long time to come. Bon appetite! We will be back!

This little hidden gem had absolutely delicious tacos and many fun novelty drink options. You won't be disappointed from the overall vibe of the restaurant to the delectable dishes offered here. I also chatted with the owner and she was such a sweet and personable lady, insuring I had a nice visit at her establishment. I will definitely visit again.

In town for work and found this adorable restaurant. Hot Marg was delicious and the strawberry marg was sweet but tasty. Queso with chorizo was tasty. Absolutely recommend the No Bridge on Bridge Street blackened mahi mahi tacos and the Flying Cow tacos. Courtney was our server and was fast and pleasant. I'll for sure come back again.

We are from California and we happened upon this hidden gem on a drive and WOW! I wish I could have eaten more. Absolutely amazing flavor. We got the pork El pastor and the steak tacos. Also got the elote (street corn) and I would say these were some of the best tacos we've ever had. We were lucky enough to run into one of the chefs as we left and were grateful to be able to tell him how wonderful the food was. So get here, and keep coming here.

You have to open a secret door when you walk inside the lighting the decor is all phenomenal. We did have to have a reservation as the place is completely booked on a Friday night, even the bar was too capacity. We were seated right away as we had reservations, the nice part about the reservations as well as you could text them to get those reservations. We had dinner prior to our reservations, so we didn't get a chance to try the food although the menu that was in a folded binder was lit when it opened a very cool little feature. The drink menu could've been a little bit more extensive for their specialty drinks, however, they had what seemed like hundreds of liquor options for you to make your own or to choose something on the rocks. Our server Nate was excellent, he suggested and recommended different drinks for us, he also brought over a little cheesecake because it was Amanda's birthday this week. Just an outstanding location vibe service experience. All of that. We would highly recommend it and if we're back in Binghamton, we would definitely go. If I lived in Binghamton. This is the place I would bring all of my guests to. Would we go back, absolutely, so much so that we are hoping or would love to see this in our hometown

The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

My second visit, I tried the grapefruit soda (not artificial tasting at all), the Shark Juice (tasted a bit too much like cologne, wasn't a fan), and the Gigi (couldn't taste the hojicha, liked the concept more than the execution). I would get the Gigi again, but would pass on the Shark Juice. Sitting inside, I enjoyed the quieter and calmer atmosphere as well as the soft lighting. The interior decor is very cosy and slightly eclectic. I came with a friend on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty which was nice.
