I have been to this restaurant a good handful of times now and have enjoyed every meal we have gotten from them. This week is restaurant week in Columbus and The Food Mill is taking part with their own menu to match for $20 you get a lunch special of an entree, drink, side if applicable, and dessert. Portion sizing was good for the entree and for the sandwich there was a side available to me. The ramen bowl didn't have a side but the portion was perfect and filling. I have eaten from here a few times now and it has been consistently delicious. They also sell produce and other items from local farms and businesses and they are a non profit and they create medically tailored meals to people with diet related illnesses. I love their mission and everything that I have eaten from here so far has been SO good. This is one of my new favorite places in C-town. I took my friend to Columbus for surgery and I found this little gem. I had what I will call the loaded sweet potatoe and the kale wrap. I order the sweet potatoe chips but I didn't get those. The sweet potatoe was cooked to perfection, the sautéed veggies on top was absolutely amazing the barbecue sauce took it to the next level. They were training some young people and my order got messed up. When I call to let them know they gave me a refund without hassle. I'm looking forward to visiting Columbus again and I will definitely stop by The Food Mill! read more

Every thing i order from Food Mill is freshly prepared, tastes fantastic and is presented beautifully. The way the meals are brought out, even in "to go" form are TV/Commercial ready. Not like McDonald's where the TV shows one picture and the actual burger looks like someone was playing corn-hole with it. The prices are great and they make fresh desserts and sell different items in the store that are organic. They are also a non profit organization who partners with local farms in the area to ensure the freshest ingredients. The staff is also very friendly. read more

My wife and I had lunch at the Food Mill for Restaurant Week today. We arrived about 11:30 AM and placed our orders without any problems. The restaurant was clean, neat and adequately staffed. My wife ordered the Indulgent Rotel Smash Burger with Peach Cobbler and I ordered the Super Summer Bowl with Vegan Strawberry Tart. This was our first visit and we had high hopes based on the reviews that we had read on Yelp. I hate to say it, but we were very disappointed. We got our drinks right away and about twenty minutes late our desserts arrived. We started to worry when the desserts arrived before our main dishes. The ice cream on my wife's peach cobbler was half melted when it arrived. Thirty minutes passed and we still had not received our main dishes, so my wife asked if there was a problem with our order. One of the staff came back and said that the kitchen had misplaced our order and that it would be ready in 5 - 7 minutes. We received our orders about 15 minutes later. Both were cold. My wife said her smash burger was OK, but the vegetables in my bowl were poorly cooked and seasoned. Our meals were served in light weight cardboard containers. I guess I would be alright with that except that this was supposed to be the Restaurant Week meals. I was thinking an actual plate would have been more appropriate. Its very expensive there. $8.50 for 1 slice of cake or pie and 3.50 for sweet tea. It does help our community with free meals for the local school near there. But it isn't the place where "modestly" income people would eat regularly. read more

Delicious food, great service, nice cocktails, beautiful building. Would definitely recommend the Korean pork belly and the chicken breast.
