I wish I had found them sooner, don't hesitate, stop hurting and go get the right shoes! CONS: Not a ton of super cute styles. From the minute, I walked into the store, till the time I left, I was one satisfied customer! Jesse not only was knowledgeable and professional, but he clearly had my best interest in mind. I found a shoe to accommodate my new brace, and it was on sale! When I tried to buy a second pair, he suggested I wait, to be sure this one worked well for me. He also taught me how I could make my existing Finn Comfort sandals work with my brace, so that gave me three more pairs of shoes to work with this brace! I was having plantar fasciitis issues and visited two different podiatrists to come up with a solution. Neither worked. Finally, no more foot pain. Ok, for the last decade, I have had the unfortunate luck of experiencing many ankle sprains, that (as I get closer to 40 - gasp!) has turned into Achilles Tondonitis, Tailors Bunion, Metatarsal pain, and other various issues. Well, I knew for RUNNING that I needed supporting sneakers due to high arches, but then realized through my podiatrist that custom orthotics should be ordered for every day use. I quickly did a online search for local shops, and found The Foot Comfort store, who had the best price when I called, and of course sounded the most friendly. When I got to the store, Jesse surely didn't disappoint. Not only did he measure and scan my feet, to ensure that my orthotics that he would create would be perfect (oh they are!) but also shared great knowledge about how to buy better shoes, and I had to make the switch from Nikes to New Balance - which I am grateful for. Jesse had the best customer experience, and was thoughtful, had a positive attitude, and truly showed that he cared to get me back on track as an active adult. Now I can say for the first time in months, I can walk, run and play hockey - and the pain in my feet - GONE. Misalignment in my hips - GONE, and my calluses are fading away now that my whole base of my foot is providing support when walking! My mom wears a brace on her left foot for a collapsed arch. The new one she just got made it difficult to fit into her shoes and affected her gait. I was in town for a wedding, and failed to bring supportive shoes for the walking involved for the weekend (there is a back story involving moving), and had recent flare up of plantar fasciitis. Jesse evaluated my gait and my foot and then came back with so many options - I was able to walk out in a new pair of shoes without pain in my foot, and another pair for dressier occasions, and arch support for both! What a wonderful experience. Brought Mom here to be sized and properly fitted. The gentleman was so kind, understanding and knowledgeable.
