2025 downgrade. This place has really gone down hill. It used to be hit or miss, now it's just a miss. No men's shirts in small or even medium, just extra large, etc. shoes were underwhelming and still overpriced. Prices still aren't that low honestly. We stopped by to grab more shorts for my husband. There are rather long lines at Nordstrom Rack today. Found a Tommy Bahama and Penguin polo and two bluish colored shorts too. The woman that waited on us was very matter of fact and made sure we felt like just a transaction at the second register to the left of the counter. I used to come here quite a lot because I was able to find good stuff here. The customer service was also great. The cashiers were always helpful and friendly. Last time when I returned something, they put it back to my gift card and if it's less than $5, they would actually give you cash. I liked their selection. Bought some winter coats here with my bff before. I also got some tops and jeans as well when my husband won a $100 gift card from his previous workplace :D Some Yelpers mentioned long lines. Yes, it can get quite packed, because this is a popular place to find bargains. I think you'll just have to come here during off hours, or come when the shop just opens, that's always a good way to avoid long wait times. This Nordstrom Rack has really great items that I found with the right price. It's very convenient if looking for what you need and want. The only thing that I noticed is that the tip jars on cashier's area. I am kind of confused why there is a jar that looks like a tip jar. It's not a restaurant, or something. We get our items and pay for it and not being serviced by employees except for occasional question about where the items are. I have gone to all kinds of department store and I never see a tip jar. I've found some great items here in the past, from NYDJ jeans, to shoes, to purses, to luggage to home goods. My favorite thing about them these days is that you can return items from online and in-store purchases from both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. I'm not good about mailing things back, but having the option to drop in and make returns while running errands makes life easier and results in more money back in my pocket and less brand new items on the donation pile. While visiting from my new home out of the state, I even packed a few items in my suitcase to return here because I'm that bad at returning things by mail! I placed an order online for in store pick up and waited for notification. Several days later I was notified my item was ready for pick up. When I got to the store I got into the line for pick ups and returns. I waited about 25 minutes for the line to move at all. There were about 8 people in front of me and by the time the line moved it was out the door and people had to wait outside. Everyone aside from me had a return and the two people working at the desk had two apparently difficult returns. No back up was called except for a manager to help with a difficult guest. There should be a separate line for pick ups because they are fast. All they did when I got to the counter was call someone to bring my order up and have me wait away from the desk while they helped the next person. When that person brought my item she scanned it and off I went. The rest of the experience in the store was fine. Dressing rooms are open again and felt safe. Found a few items to purchase and got in the regular line. It moved quickly, the clerk was friendly and the transaction easy. read more

Came here to find some work clothes and ended up finding a lot of options for yoga/pilates as well. The prices are reasonable and the selections seem to have increased a bit more through the years. The fitting room wasn't an issue, I was able to bring in 15 things to try on and hand most of them back. The fitting room was clean and I didn't feel like the previous customers decided to leave a bunch of clothes in the rooms, so that was nice. This was an issue a few years ago. I will say I'm not a big fan of the long lines to check out, but then again, you can tell they're short staffed and that's happening everywhere, so cut them some slack and come at a time when it isn't so hectic. read more

Today was the latest attempt to try this store to check out purses and earrings...I just have to say the utilitarian way the purses were displayed ..hanging from metal poles with cords attached so you can't even really examine the item...did not inspire me nor did the prices..too high for the average budget in my opinion .The costume jewelry was a mess. Necklaces all tangled up... several towers of earrings that look like leftovers from spring..just not appealing. I have always been overwhelmed by the amount of shoes and clothing..there were some nice coats and sweaters but again.. just round after round of clothes crammed together.. I guess if you don't mind spending hours combing through them to find something you like.. I think I'll just stick with shopping a store that's more organized and a bit smaller...plus I was never approached by any salesperson to ask if I needed help. Not impressed, Nordstrom! read more

Last time shopping here. Jolene in returns was so rude when I tried to return a pair of shoes. I did wear them once and had return shoes like that before. I was never aware about their policy of not being able to return something used because I had return shoes before at this very store. She was very rude and got loud and then printed the back of the receipt where she read policy in the lightest color letters. She then also made a remark about how they can't sell what i took back but then saw shoes that were in worst conditions than what i took back. I would have understood just fine if she didn't have to get loud. When I walked away after thanking her for the information she was laughing with co-workers. Unnecessary behavior. One of my wife's favorite stores, (I'm not a fan of shopping at all any way). The store is always pretty busy, the shoe department is messy with shoes all over the floor, the check out line is another hit or miss, usually it's long, definitely men's department is less then women's. I think women got a much better selections of cloth and shoes then men, which explains the majority of shoppers are women. One thing for me personally - Nordstrom Rack got the strongest Wi-Fi for my I-Pad so I can use it until my wife shops around. read more

You don't have to feel guilty buying a gift from an outlet store when it's called Nordstrom Rack. For the past few years Nordstrom Rack has been my ace in the whole when taking the kids out to buy gifts for "mom" for Christmas. How present buying works in my house is that mom writes up a general list of things she wants and we usually end up here to get fancy brands and fair prices. NR is a good place for robes. Unlike Target and other places, the robes here are very plush and soft.. They felt nothing like the chain stores "hotel towel" robes. NR's were about 20 bucks.. As far as guy clothing, it's all about being there at the right time. It's worth a stop just to check it out. read more

I was truly upset going to Nordstrom rack. I went last night to go shopping and when I was there I felt incredibly uncomfortable and felt harassed by the workers there. I went there being told it's a really nice store and instead I was being followed multiple times around the store my partner and friend was also being followed around the store. It's ultimately a horrible experience we couldn't shop too much because of how uncomfortable we felt and we even had employees in the front and in the dressing rooms watching us. The people working in the dressing room section were very unfriendly as we heard them talk about us and pointing us out for some reason plus they were also talking bad about their coworkers. People shouldn't feel this way especially if we are there to shop and I felt like they were stereotyping us I don't know because no one else was being treated that way or being followed throughout the whole store. Especially because they didn't come up to us and didn't ask us if we needed help they just kept following us and giving weird looks. read more

Pretty good Nordstrom Rack location. (I've been to many in several states, and I've seen good and bad.) The selection of clothing is good, especially during big sales. I found an amazing dress for my engagement photos here and my husband found lots of dress shoes, including the ones he wore for our wedding, for a great price! Usually no limit to how many items you can bring into the dressing room which is amazing! Also, I've noticed that the employees here are especially nice and friendly, especially at the returns counter. You can return Nordstrom (main store) items here too btw! read more

Been to this location many times before as well as the other location in Carmel Mountain Ranch. I like how they have lower prices than Nordstrom's but realize you're buying older styles. From clothes, shoes and travel bags they have it all. For women they also have sunglasses and accessories to finish off your outfits. What's even better is you can accrue your points and spend them here as well. This location is very organized and has ample parking. The associates are friendly and eager to help. Not sure if they also get compensated via commission but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. If you're searching for something and can't find it at the Marshall's or Ross which are a few stores over either direction, pay a little more and get it here. Nifty store with lots of high end name brand items at discounted prices. Although, most items I can only afford in the clearance section, lol. You will need to dedicate some time here to scout out items. They have anywhere from men's apparel to women's apparel, to baby/kid apparel to make-up, accessories, jewelry, shoes and more. You can find good deals here when they do sales. They also have a rewards card program where you get 1 point for every dollar you spend but you need 2,000 points to get a $20 certificate. The sales associate explained that they sometimes offer double points on certain days, otherwise it would take a really long time for points to add up. I like that I can purchase items at Nordstrom and return at Nordstrom's Rack and vise versa. Friendly sales associates, large store with plenty of parking. read more

Prices are not that great and line of 25 people with 4 people at the register!? Registers should be fully staffed with that kind of line (which is always long). Especially during covid so people can get their stuff and leave. When I went to return my items the girl left out $130 pair of shoes! She had finalized the refund and something didn't feel right so before I put my cc in I asked her to count the items. She miscounted and I had to remind her she already put an item behind her. If I hadn't said anything they would have literally stolen $130 from me. Wow. The return system is fucked up. Scanning and rescanning multiple times. She had scanned them they just didn't register. Wasn't really her fault besides the fact she didn't check at the end. I bought a pair of $200 designer jeans here a year ago and they've ripped stepping out of a vehicle (not exactly extreme use). Knowing I have $10 Aeropostale and American Eagle jeans I've had for over 5 years that are still in great condition, I assumed they would do something??? I go into the store seeing if I could exchange them or at least give me a deep discount since they were $200 jeans and were ripped during very casual use. People spend that much on jeans for quality. Quality is the only reason to spend that much. Courtney, the sales manager, comes over and tries to convince me that this is normal wear and tear and that jeans should only last a year. But don't worry she was sorry. Really? Really?! Customer service? Repeat customer... I spent over $600 last time I was in here and I'm back here trying to give you a chance to show me you appreciate my business. Heck the shirt I'm wearing right now came from here. Never buy jeans here. Their return policy is horrible for women who struggle to find the right pair of jeans. I tried on a pair in store and they fit perfect! I was so excited. The next day I decided to wear them for the day, being excited as they fit so well at the store, and within an hour out an about ... I was swimming in the jeans. They stretched out so much and I was so bummed. Keep in mind, they were expensive! So two days later I go to return these jeans with the receipt (unwashed, worn for a few hours) and they would not even give me store credit!!! There was 0 damage or sign of wear on these jeans at all and I was left with a very fake lady telling me to go wash the jeans and that will help. Never again will I buy from Nordstrom rack with this strict of a policy. read more
