A new front desk girl who I have never seen before and had just been hired from what the other employees told me was trying to put a collar on him and he did nip at her. I apologized to her and some other employees came out and Ghost was pleasant with them. I picked him up after the weekend and apologized again and they said these things happen, but as a dog owner I wanted to make clear that this has never happened before. He's been going to City Bark Lodo for 7 years, gets his grooming there, and I've thoroughly enjoyed them. A week goes by and today July 13th, I get a call from Jonathan stating Ghost is no longer welcome. I find it a little unsettling that after a single incident he's no longer allowed to go there. I know what he did was wrong I'm not discouraging that. Why he did that I have no idea but has never had an issue with anyone else. As most dog owners know for a dog to go somewhere for 7 years then to try and find a new place for them is unsettling as they are used to the environment and atmosphere. If this was a reoccurring thing I'd understand, but after one incident and 7 years of being a loyal customer to them I'm told nothing they can do. Spent thousands of dollars over these years and the way they just dispose of us from coming back is not how I expected them to handle this.

It's good socialization for him and we get a break day at our home office. I mean check this out it's 45 bucks for a day and if we are working late he can stay the night for an additional 18 bucks. They'll feed him dinner and breakfast and he gets to play until 11am the following day. Math Time: We would spend more money with a 2-hour service from WAG then we get from a 30-hour service with ​U Lucky Dog! And Houdini is exhausted!

Beware if you stay here…read more Had a traumatic experience where I picked my pup up and immediately noticed she had big bite marks on her lips (pictured below) that the staff did not notice during her stay there which proves they did not give her proper attention. Then in the car back she threw up all over the car three times. Had to immediately take her to the emergency vet where they immediately flagged her for severe and deadly dehydration (see pic with her level of lethargy in the ER). So much so they had to keep her overnight on IVs and had her stay for 24 hours due to health risks. We had to stay the entire night in the emergency room with her after having extensive travels back from our trip which was taxing physically mentally emotionally as well as financially and will take us a very long time to recover from. Did little to reconcile or try to resolve the situation adequately with us. Therefore this is this warning of our experience to all who stay there.

The location is easy to get to with plenty of available parking. However, I wish there was a doggy potty area by the entrance, it's just concrete. The hours are fantastic, from 6AM - 9PM. I have only used the day care service. Note, if you drop off before 7AM and/or pick up after 7PM there is an additional $10 fee. Skiptown is the only place I've found in the Denver area with daycare pick up after 7 PM. Most of the time when I drop off other than early morning there has been a wait for my dog to taken back. To get started you need to download the app. Everything is done thru the app - scheduling daycare, payments, vaccination records & arranging a first time observation visit, which is required. The staff is super friendly & attentive. There have been a couple times that Skiptown called with concerns about my dog. And that I greatly appreciated. Overall, a great choice for doggy daycare.

I provided pre-portioned meals with clear written instructions and confirmed them twice -- once over the phone before drop-off and again in person. The instructions were simple and routine. Despite that, my dog was not fed dinner, and her breakfast instructions were only partially followed. More concerning, when I reached out after noticing their app did not show her dinner as completed, I was told she had been fed. That information was incorrect. I also did not receive any of the updates or reports that were expected during her stay, and my message to support went unanswered for approximately 9 hours. At pickup, I was handed back her untouched dinner along with the remaining portion of her breakfast, confirming the instructions had not been followed. When I raised this with staff, the only resolution offered was a credit toward a future stay. This experience reflects a breakdown not just in communication, but in executing the most basic responsibilities of pet care.

After years of being loyal customers with our 2 dogs, they couldn't care less. You lost thousands of dollars of future business by being selfish. Luckily, this forced us to find a different dog daycare and now my dog loves to go. He doesn't act scared or freaked out anymore. He's actually happy and excited to go to the new place.
