This little inn is perched at the top of a hill just far enough away from town to feel like you are way out in the country, but close enough that you could drive down the road for a midnight taco if you're feeling peckish. The house itself smells of lavender and whatever gourmet delight the owner has cooked up today. It is warmly decorated without being garishly "country," and the room we stayed in (Sage) was very comfortable with it's high ceilings and friendly colors. The shower in our room was spacious, although the shower head was mounted quite low (if I had to pick at nits, this would be my only complaint). The bed was wide and soft (I should caution you about the risk of slipping into a mid-afternoon coma if you lay on it after a big meal). We signed up for the cooking class with Pamela Murski and it was an absolute delight. She is so friendly and fun to be with. The instruction was very low-pressure, as she walked us through the preparation of a 5 course meal, supplying great advice on technique and plenty of interesting stories about the food, the (very fresh!) ingredients, and her experiences. The food was amazing, and for this one day, it was easy to forget about the cares of the big bad world out there and focus on good food and the people you are with. I think that is exactly why we came - and I wish we didn't have to leave.

Pamela is an excellent hostess and she makes sure that you have everything you need. We found this B&B when we were looking for an elopement package. We are having a big wedding next year but wanted to do something just for the two us before then. Pamela ensured everything was taken care of for the ceremony and that our day was special. We didn't have to worry about anything, we got married by the gazebo, drank wine on the porch and ate an outstanding meal prepared by Pamela. Dinner consisted of homemade soup, Sheppard's pie made with lamb, venison and ground pork with twice roasted mashed potatoes on top and for desert we had an apple pie sort of dish with Blue Bell ice cream on top. To die for!! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the features of the B&B but unfortunately we had to go back to Houston. We will definitely be back for a weekend of R&R soon!!

The neighboring rooster was crowing early but otherwise it was a quiet stay. Each of the four units has its own outdoor space which is a prime area to stargaze at night. Communication was clear and informative leading up to the stay. The property is a short two minute drive to the main Round Top spots so it's very convenient. Recommend checking it out for a lovely stay!

The Boho Cottage looked exactly as pictured online: it was absolutely GORGEOUS and very clean and spacious. The interior was decorated with care and all of the pieces chosen are elegant and beautiful. Paige and Smoot, the owners, were also incredibly helpful and accommodating; they helped us arrange a special champagne toast welcome and made sure every detail was accounted for. Boho is minutes away from Henkel Square and tons of shopping spots. We really enjoyed our two night stay and I highly recommend The Vintage Round Top for a family getaway or your next girls' trip!

They are from Belize, but have lived in Texas for 19 years. Everything you see in the pictures was built by Bediko and his lovely wife. They started with a house and a metal building where he created his art. Next came 4 rooms for guests and lots of community space for the guests. A beautiful courtyard, an outdoor lounging area, and a small professional kitchen where the guests can cook if they so desire. They gave us a wonderful tour and told us about their lives. In fact, they had just sold the place, and are moving back to Belize soon. If you have ever been to a Chuy's restaurant, the metal artwork is done by Bediko! And the car trunk buffet servers are also built by Bediko! The man is SO incredibly talented. It was wonderful to meet them, and I wish them the best of luck back in Belize!

We did have to ask for more towels for the shower. They do also have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is a hairdryer in the room. The ranch is big with a lot of animals to see. The animals are well taken care of by the friendly staff members. The petting zoo is a great place to take your family into. The animals are all friendly and get along well. They have activities you can partake in for a fee, but if you spend more than two nights in the rooms some are included. The beach area was very nice. It was clean and the water was perfect. They have plenty to keep your kids entertained in the beach area. The pool was nice as well. It had a hot tub. You could rent a golf cart, but the ranch is pretty walkable. They do sell food during the day and you can order a three course meal for dinner. The three course meal can be eaten in your room or at Flo. You can take your own bottle of wine to Flo if you want to eat your meal there. We did the dinner and got the steak, the salmon and the eggplant Parmesan. The salmon was a hit. I will say that I think the meal was pre- package or pre prepared because it wasn't as fresh coming out. They do have a spa, but be aware that it can book up pretty quick. We were not able to get a reservation for massages. They do send you a link to set up your extras prior to your visit, so if you are looking forward to something, get ahead of time. They sell their own honey and you can buy a dozen eggs for five dollars. We received a welcome gift of honey and sourdough bread. We ate the first day we were there and it was delicious. They also have complementary snacks and drinks in the check-in area for guest. They did have a food truck area where they sell items such a as chicken tenders, fries, and ice cream. We were told there was 160 people on the property yet it felt peaceful and private the whole time we were there. I was truly in heaven,. I would not hesitate to return. Definitely a great place for families or weekend with your girlfriends.

Overall, it was a lovely experience and we will definitely be back.
