We visited this place last Saturday April 11. Food and sevice were great but there are 2 things I personally did no like. 1- Service charge placed in the middle of the check. Obviusly to hided. 2- The place does not accept Apple pay. For me who no longer carry a wallet or a physical way of payment could be a huge issue at the time of payment. Went to El Toro Loco with friends on Wednesday night. Got the 2 pound board with two types of beef chicken with bacon wrapped, and chorizo sausage. We also got grilled pineapple as a side along with asparagus and corn. The place is extremely fun. Food was fantastic. It was very flavorful. It came with two different dipping sauces. One was possibly a chimichurri. The other was some type of barbecue sauce with a little bit of bite. Overall, it was a great experience service was always there when we needed them and friendly along with the place being a little noisy, but that's to be expected. Open kitchen concept. My favorite plate to get while I am there is the sampler platter which has all kinds of meat cuts for me to try and includes 2 sides. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the restaurant has a fun, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great place to eat with family or friends. I appreciate how consistently good the food and service are every time I visit. If you're looking for good grilled meat with excellent customer service, I highly recommend giving Toro Loco a try. I have gone to different Toro Loco locations, but this was my first time going to this one which is actually the closest one to my home. I brought my husband and kid who have never come and I knew that they would enjoy the variety. We started with the bone marrow and the cheesy Yuga bites. Both were absolutely delicious and my kid really really enjoyed the bone marrow. Our main we did my typical, which is a mixed platter with the side sampler. All of the meats were absolutely delicious and juicy. We enjoy the side sauces that come. The pork belly is honestly one of my favorite things ever here. I love their in-house beer it comes in a cool mug. Service was great. The waiters came by multiple times to check in on us and refresh our drinks. We really enjoyed ourselves and I have converted two more people over to Toro Loco fans. read more

Stuck in Miami and ordered this place to the hotel via Uber eats. Got the bacon wrapped chicken and pork bellies. Both were very good. Lemonade to drink hit the spot. Only reason for the 3 stars is because they charge a service charge on a phone/to go order. Thats right. Even not eating there you will be charged a service charge of about 9%. Absurd and very disrespectful to customers that are not even receiving actual dine in service. Food is good as usual in every location but this add on charge needs to be removed. read more

This is a great place to come with a large group of people who enjoy steak/meat. The platters they offer have a great value for the quality and quantity of food given. We were a group of 4 people and ordered a the Deluxe Picada (4 lb) and 3 sides, we also ordered 1 appetizer, the yuca balls filled with cheese (so good!). It was plenty of food for all of us, and had leftovers. The lamb was cooked perfectly, as was the picanha. The garlic rice and tostones were also divine. We also ordered the white sangria and it was delicious, very refreshing and Instagramable with its presentation. The only complaint I would have is the loud noise that emits when there's a birthday or celebration. It can be very jarring especially if you're sitting closer to it. So if you have guest guests in your party that struggle with that I would advise to ask to sit opposite it. read more

Great food, shady people. Service and food was good but they tried to sneak in a 15% service charge and taxed you on the service charge mixed in the middle of all of our ordered items. Waiter didn't let us know about the service charge expecting us to leave an additional tip without our knowledge. It's usually busy and there's music going on in a small area so the atmosphere is a little overwhelming. In the beginning the waitress was kind of ignoring us after about 10-15 minutes we had to ask someone else who our server was because we hadn't been helped yet, not even water. If you get the middle option (if there is one) then you save some $$ (your choice.) The food was almost at Temperature in the sense that it was not hot rather warm. The reason for the 2 stars is because the servers came to the table ans d started to remove plates without asking if we were done. Assuming that it was completed going over someone's shoulder is not good ettiquete. Additionally, eventhough the side dish was almost empty, removing it without asking is a No, No. Additionally no one came by for refill check until the end. I ordered the lamb chops and they were kinda hard and extremely salty. The rest of the table ordered churrasco and that was good. All the side dishes were delicious. Our waitress was very kind in the start all tho we felt as we were being rushed. I wasn't even done eating and she started to grab stuff and this occurred multiple times as the table was eating. I watched the Brazilian steak guy do a video and it looks so good Which really motivated me to go so it took about an hour I got there and they were swamped. I sat at the bar. I realized they use really large cut of beef and cut everything to order so I ordered a skirt. Steak? This is one of my Uber Eats go to's. It's close to the house and usually arrives fairly quickly. I usually go with the churrasco, pork belly, and either the baked potato or the avocado salad. The flavor of the food is always good. The temperature can be hit or miss. We like it medium and it sometimes tends to be overcooked. Again, the taste is good so it's not that much of a distraction. I've only eaten on site a few times due to it being on ten small side and almost always a long wait time, regardless of time of day I will mention, if you do go to the location, try the Torreja desert. Party of five, me and my brother order the Pichana, I order 1/2 a pound, he orders one. All good so far. Pregnant Manager comes and says ohhh so sorry we messed up, I have his meat and he has mine. Im like ok what you want us to do, I literally have all my germs on the food at this point, she was asking for my plate to take the meat out and give it to him. Seriously!!! So at that point everything went downhill, my hunger was gone, I took the extra meat out, she had the odacity to tell me I will be charged the one pound. Im like no you are not here is your 1/2 pound I will not pay what I can't eat. Such a shame but they will never see a dime of mine again.
