The Lady at the register was seemingly agitated for what ever reason. She was chatting with her colleague across from her about training someone, a guy. She looked at me and others as if she was annoyed to be there. Her scanner wasn't working and she was trying to blame my phone. However, I asked her to wipe her scale scanner, with an aggressive attitude she snatched a paper towel and rubbed it on her scale scanner and acted as if that would do something. Well it needed to be wet first, she did it with a dry paper towel. She needs a vacation, a hug or some re-training. I don't care what you're going through we all have a job to do. Not only that I asked for a paper bag she said she had none which I was looking at it in the other counters is why I asked for one. I didn't ask if you have paper bags I asked for a paper bag and she refused to give it to me she probably thought that the flowers wouldn't fit in it . Your job is customer service not think for the customers and this lady is supposed to be training other people? that's crazy. read more

My husband went to Fresh Market for me so that I would have fresh nicely trimmed steaks for my company. The steaks were not flat, inconsistent in thickness, so not able to be cooked properly and discolored. They cost $177.84 @ $27.99 a lb. It was December 24, 2025. So I am returning them. Today I bought a cooked beer cheese sausage link, potato salad, and an apple pie. The sausage link smelled bad and the taste made me want to throw up. The potato salad had a ton of vinegar in it and it overpowered the other flavors. The apple pie was sour almost to the point of being bitter. On Thursday, I bought some fresh ground meats. When I pulled them out to cook them the next day, they were already browning considerably and had a very strange smell. I went ahead and cooked them but am somewhat uncomfortable about eating them. It is to the point where any grocery store I go to, I wonder if it will be safe to buy and eat the food. read more

Had to run out and get sandwiches for lunch today and decided to go to Fresh Market. We had heard good things and I didn't want to spend a huge amount. Headed over to the deli section and grabbed four pre-made wraps-Buffalo Chicken; Turkey, Brie and apple; Chicken Caesar; and Chicken salad. Who would have thought that pre-made wraps could be so fresh and delicious?!? I would happily come here again for a quick lunch. Sandwiches, wraps, salads...pretty solid offerings. Update... Our wraps were so good the other day I decided to go back for more two days later. Grabbed another chicken Caesar wrap, an Italian wrap, a chicken and broccoli slay wrap and a roast beef and cheddar on onion bread. Also had to pick up some other items. The wraps and sandwiches were great again (really loved the chicken and broccoli slaw) and the other items were all easy to find (including a delicious rosemary bread). I went to the Fresh Market to get a pineapple. It was very pretty and organized inside. The cash register employees were helpful and kind, with smiles on their faces and, too add on, the pineapple was ripe and juicy. They seemed to have everything one would need as well. I would recommend visiting at around 6, as I went on a weekend around that time and it wasn't too crowded. The parking was also non-stressful and easy to find a spot so I think that is a good time to stop in. I would go again because it wasn't stressful, I found plenty of what I needed, and the employees were pleasant. read more

Service is excellent...ambiance is excellent and normally food is excellent...however, we experienced poor quality. We consider ourselves "regular customers" and consistently experience excellent prepared food. We recently decided to try the large chicken pot pie. Needless to say it was not of the quality we normally experience. The problem is that the bottom crust was extremely soggy and the pie was not edible. Go to be entertained and/or go for the candy choices. WOW, sweet tooth will be satisfied with old fashioned and speciality sweets in barrels, beautifully crafted displays. They carry some unusual and healthy items, small market without the stress of bright lights and children screaming down the aisles. Great place if you do not care about $. Kinda like shopping in a food museum, classical music played, food all beautifully displayed. Limited items but still a soothing environment with basically all you need. This is the second time my mom got baby back ribs . She defrosted them to make her dinner company was coming over and when she went to pick them up they were slimy and smelled disgusting and vile . I was planning to go to Whole Foods, but then read a review for this place, so I decided to check it out. The first thing I noticed was it is so dark! I'm talking Romantic Restaurant Date Night dark. I usually like that kind of ambiance, but not so much in a food market where I like to carefully inspect items before I purchase them. This market is very clean and small, and they have items arranged very nicely. It almost makes you want to buy things because they look so nice in the display! I'm guessing I picked the wrong night to go because the prepacked meals were picked through. But, they did look tasty. I found a zucchini medley with a sprinkle of cheese for dinner tonight! Mm mm. The fruits and veggies looked very fresh and pretty. There was a very nice seafood and meat area, and a nice deli. Also a very nice sized wine and beer section. The flowers were also nice. Very fresh and colorful. Overall not bad, but just not a lot of variety. Check it out though, it may be your favorite little store. read more

Today was my first day in this store. I am new to here and am not a big fan of the Publix near me. I was looking through there extensive Coffee products and was approached by Dave the Manager. We got to talking and he made his coffee and creamer suggestion, then proceeded to give me a gift bag with both! He also gave me a nice little discount on all my groceries as a way of saying welcome to the neighborhood, I was floored! I have been shopping in grocery stores for many years, never have I been treated so warmly, professionally and respectfully. I love this supermarket. Lots of unique products like Moxie and cheese bread. I live the barrels of chocolate covered nuts, dark and milk chocolate covered almonds, pecans, walnuts, peanuts etc. all fresh and delicious. Excellent ambiance in the store, dark and cool. This is a great example of a Fresh Market experience. I drop by this location to grab deli sandwiches and sides for dinner. I travel for business to Naples regularly and this is near the hotel in which I stay, so besides the items always fresh and well prepared, it's very convenient. There is always ample parking and the staff is always helpful and accommodating. You can call me crazy, but I think coleslaw is the best thing on the planet, and Fresh Market always has the BEST. This is a great place to grab a bite even if you're not there for your regular grocery shopping. read more

I just hate that all the employees sit right out front of the front door smoking cigarettes and you have to walk by them to get into the store. Someone hit the nail on the head (Kristine R!) when she described Fresh Market as a blend of Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. It feels like a market, proper, with designated sections for produce, deli, seafood, bulk, and only a small section of the store organized by traditional grocery story "aisles". It's not a massive store, but it's densely packed with goodies like: - crab dip (get this) and crab cakes - my favourite cocktail sauce of all time, spiked with tons of punchy horseradish - pretty decent sushi - great "take home and grill" options like stuffed burgers and rolled chicken breasts - solid baked goods (special shout-out for the black and white cookies and scones) - good selection of "specialty" foods from around the country...my favourite Brooklyn-based ice-cream (Phin and Phebes) is stocked here. PARDON ME, I'LL JUST TAKE THAT PINT TO MY ROOM TO BE ALONE #loveaffair I also appreciate the free coffee samples by the front door. In December the pumpkin spice coffee helped fuel me for all my holiday food shopping. Yes, it's pricey, but let's push past that point to acknowledge that it's fresh, good quality, and the staff is always warm and attentive. To wit: my Dad is obsessed with their stuffing, which they sell around Thanksgiving, but not around Christmas. And yet, and yet, one staff member found some in the freezer for us to prep at home. I love this place, even though I break the piggy bank everytime I go. This is a place to meander and take in the whole experience. This is truly a "market" and not your orderly aisle-ridden grocery store. Their lighting seems to showcase an aesthetic experience, so never go in hungry! If you're looking for that special fruit, or special cut of meat, you'll find what you need. They seem to accommodate any random request and they're always doing something new and different. (ie. They set up a station where they made chocolate dipped strawberries on Valentine's Day.) For lunch, their sushi station is great with brown rice options, and their wraps are made fresh. I, on the otherhand, go for the unconventional. I choose their made-to-order sandwiches. I'm not sure if they enjoy making them, but it's worth it on my end. They probably don't have a lot of people order them, so they sometimes have to search for ingredients in other stations. Be prepared to wait. You have to try the Harvest Pork and Brie sandwich. It's on an onion bun. They have sliced marinated pork, with mango chutney, brie, and sliced apple! YUM!! I also get their buffalo chicken sandwich (if you like it spicy), or their Little Italy Combo. Each sandwich comes with their homemade pickle and a small side of their pasta salad. It makes me happy when they serve it with bacon and tomato pasta salad. Great little all natural grocery. Almost like a blend of whole foods and trader joes. The prepared food area was great with lots of variety. The store contains a great variety of local, homegrown and organic goods. Some items are a bit too much on the pricey side, but I guess that's what happens when you don't shop at bulk factory stores. I went to Fresh Market on Tuesday. I was pleased to see request for customers to wear masks but distressed to see there were customers in the store without them.
