If you are looking for a new front door - I could not recommend this company more. From start to finish they were excellent! Our house came with a wood door featuring a large glass panel which though frosted, let in too much light and became a viewing window from everyone from the neighborhood kids to the Amazon delivery guy! Fed up with prints we looked at several options but simply loved the choices offered by the Front Door Company and their prices are right in line with the quality you get! They were extremely responsive to email , reviewed our options and were polite, professional and diligent in their visit, accurate with measurements and helpful with choices. This company did an incredible job replacing my front door trim. The representative who repaired my front door trim was very proactively attentive, meaning they addressed concerns I saw with the way the trim was being installed before I even had the chance to ask about the concerns I saw! To me, this means the representative did their best to ensure the door trim was installed to my satisfaction without any unaddressed concerns. For example: Door alarm trigger removed while removing the old trim? They asked my about it, and then put it back when after the new trim was installed Nails visible in the newly installed trim? The holes were covered with spackle before I got a chance to say anything. And fortunately for me, I may not have to paint the new trim since the color was a 99% match to the paint on the rest of my trim. (Maybe I just got lucky there, but hey, I'm not complaining.) The Front Door Company out of San Antonio did a wonderful job from door selection through to installation. I replaced my builder-installed front door since it was loose and never sealed properly. The new door turned out really nice, and the hardware was perfect for the door style and color. Also an outstanding install - the door fits and works flawlessly. Make your life easy. The installer, David was amazing! He is one of the easiest people to talk to and a pleasure to have in my home, one of the most wholesome and patient guys I've ever met. David went out of his way to help me reconnect my Ring doorbell and rework the line. He was diligent in explaining the install process and educating me as he went along his work. He never seemed rushed but instead was conversational and deligent, a master in his art. He's a skilled perfectionist in his craft and I'm glad he has such high standards for himself. One of our neighbors got their door and sidelites replaced and recommend the Front door. My husband called to have the sidelites replaced and the glass in our old door. We later decide to change the door as well but the San Antonio store did not have the door we wanted because it was discontinued. Trey was the person helping us and he recommend some other doors that was very nice but not what I wanted. I then called the Austin location and was helped by a salesperson named Clay , he advised the same, that the door was discontinued and then he ask me to hold and came back to let me know he had a floor sample of the exact door. Clay was so patient and nice and he sent me a picture of the door by email to make sure that was the door I wanted ..he displayed excellent customer service by checking for me and getting me a very good price and explaining everything concerning purchase to installation .He informed me that he would be shipping the door to the San Antonio location and they would handle the installation. Trey set up the installation for me , we had a problem with the original installation date but he was able to set it up for the next day . David was the installer, he was very professional and proficient in his work. He was alone and he installed the sidelites and the door without any problems and very professionally. The front door has a huge selection of doors but I am happy I was able to find the exact door I wanted . The front door in Austin and San Antonio location was very helpful and they both help from start to finish to get my door purchased and installed. The door is fiberglass but looks like wood. The door looks elegant and our front door looks uniformed with the door glass and sidelites having the same type of glass. Terrible customer service. Paid over 5,000 dollars for a Iron Door, That took 4 months to get. After installing, Outside has no insulation or molding. So door is incomplete. I'm hoping owner gets this, So i can get outside finished. read more
