Came here for my birthday with my husband for high tea and it was a lovely experience! Parking is tight but they were very helpful and showed us where to park. Upon arrival they greeted us with our first pot and explained that we would simply leave the warming cover off of out pot if we wanted a new tea. Overall we tried five teas: Apple molasses, creme brulee, ginger pear, back porch, snowflake All were lovely but I really liked back porch the most! We were presented with several courses including salad, scones, soup, mini sandwiches, and dessert. Everything was incredibly delicious and made easy going afternoon. From each course I really liked certain things, the menu changes so make sure you double check! I really liked that. All the tableware was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom was upstairs with the gift shop and it was very cute and I found a lot of really nice things. I also liked that they had different teas that you could purchase to take home. This was n't a perfect birthday treat and I would highly recommend it for anyone. I also noticed that they offered gluten-free items for folks that needed that and I thought that was really awesome. read more

The service was good, beautiful old house. The Sunday brunch is what we went there for and we all were pleasantly surprised.

I may be biased but this tea room was a great experience, I took my wife here for high tea to celebrate her birthday and everyone was extremely accommodating. It was a busy afternoon and the home was packed with patrons, despite this our server was very attentive refilling our tea pots so we were able to sample many different teas. The house is two floors with the bathroom upstairs alongside a shop to purchase tea and trinkets. Everything was clean and the tea sets were different giving a very homey vibe to everything. I really enjoyed my food and left full despite the snack sized portions. I would highly suggest checking out this tea house for yourself and I wouldn't be surprised if we return sooner rather than later. read more

This is now my new favorite tea place! Been here twice for high tea and every single course is delicious! Service takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours which I enjoy. The courses come individually and not on a tiered rack thankfully. You can really sit and enjoy your lunch with whoever you come with! Staff is very kind and friendly. The best tea room around ever!!! Anyone who has given it a bad review was when it was under bad ownership I've noticed, not surprising. It is under new ownership now that is absolutely wonderful! Majority of the food was bad. The tea all tasted like hot water, no flavor whatsoever. The service was okay. But other than that, it was a bad experience. They also charge $20 for mini tea cups you can find at the goodwill? Why???? read more

My husband and I had reservations for high tea last Friday. Unfortunately, I ended up in the ER the day before and had emergency gallbladder removal. I was released to go home the next afternoon, the day of our reservation. A few minutes after our reservation, I received a call from them and I apologized and explained my situation, I had just got home from the hospital from an emergency surgery yesterday. Today I spoke with the owner to reschedule our reservation and was let known that she charged us full price and thought "someone should have been able to let her know We couldn't make it". They could have told us at the time they called on reservation day that they are charging us the full price, almost $100, my husband could have at least ran down to pick up the food. The owner was sharp and rude to me as well. read more

After reading all the great reviews I was very excited to visit this restaurant. The manager was dismissive, short, and rude almost from the very beginning. She gave more attention to a table with a party of 2 then she did my party of 7. When we asked for more tea she began to complain very loudly about us ordering too much tea. We were under the impression that we were at a "Tearoom" where we could sample different types of tea. But apparently we were wrong. Or maybe just the wrong color! Horrible customer service, bland food, and tacky outdoor decor make this place less than 1 star worthy. I might have been able to ignore the tasteless food and even the worn faded canopy but the level of disrespect you showed to my party of all professional women was unacceptable. Sad to say I doubt you will think you were wrong in anything you did because I truly don't think you know any better. read more

Loved The Front Porch tea room! Excellent food, great atmosphere and our server Eleanor was very sweet, helpful and professional. I took a friend who was visiting from San Francisco to the Front Porch for high tea and she very impressed with the beautiful Victorian house and decor. We have heard such wonderful things about the owner, Bonnie but unfortunately we didn't get to meet her this time. Hopefully next visit. Front Porch Tea Room offered a cookies and cocoa with Santa and it was fabulous. Each guest received tea or cocoa, a plate of cookies and some toppings for the cocoa. All children met Santa individually and received a present hand-picked for them. (Santa's helpers filled Bonnie in on some ideas). Santa also knew a personal story about each child that he shared. Lovely venue for private parties and highly recommended for ladies night. Recently booked Saturday, August 8th, for my sister's bridal shower consisting of 13 guests. The ladies loved the modern Victorian decor and the 14 themed Christmas trees. Extravagant china and tea kettles set the tea party mood. My aunt is vegetarian so the party's food menu accommodated to her and also please those who are more savory eaters. Started with walnut garden salad Salad dressing is dynamite, so wishing to know the secret recipe.. guessing it is a pomegranate - raspberry vingerette? Second, bacon savory scones and white chocolate with jams and the special whipped topping. Third hot spinach rice souo or cold pureed peach soup with a hit of peach schnapps, three bite size sandwiches and daily dessert menu. Will doggie bag if you're full! All kinds of assorted hot teas, we loved the blueberry and strawberry cupcake hot tea. The cold peach iced tea was definitely a pallet cleanser. Enough resting time in between meal courses to play bridal games. Then went outside to open presents. BYOB was very convenient and they provided wine glasses. Garden was a slight smaller than I thought but still beautiful for pictures. They also made mini heart-shaped sandwiches for my little ones. My mother and I had a wonderful first experience at the Front Porch Tea Room. We are over the moon that we decided to have my sister's upcoming baby shower here. Bonnie and her staff are so welcoming and inviting. They are very knowledgeable on the food and tea choices.
