One scoop of sweet & salty caramel with the topping of the week - chocolate peanut butter popcorn

I came to the Friendly Farmer on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all and the service at the produce/market area, as well as the ice cream side, was great. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My best friend's son was able to push around a shopping cart with our vegetables, the prices were fair, and they had a decent variety of local items. The ice cream side has so many flavors. I sampled the corn ice cream and was honestly surprised! It was good. The seating inside the ice cream shop was ample. They have several high top tables available, along with a kid friendly ice cream station. Would recommend!

We were so excited to see Lori. She is our favorite shark.

Prior to our trip, while my wife was researching the area she came across The Frozen Farmer. We enjoy watching Shark Tank but didn't realize they were recently featured, their story is impressive: https://allsharktankproducts.com/shark-tank-products-food-and-drink/the-frozen-farmer-ice-cream/ We stopped in about 6:30pm on a Friday evening and there was a small amount of people inside but the drive-thru was very busy. We looked at the menu and my wife was happy to see that they offered a banana split and I decided on a two scoop on a plain waffle cone. I chose the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor and my wife chose banana's foster, strawberry pretzel salad and peanut butter cup with all the toppings - good thing this was dinner and dessert tonight! The prices are very reasonable and they looked and tasted delicious! We highly recommend and are happy to hear they are expanding into grocery stores and we are crossing our fingers that they will come out west where we live!

Bananas foster and sweet/salty caramel on a signature waffle cone

Found The Frozen Farmer on the way home from Rehoboth Beach by chance. Stopped by Evans Market next store to check out their produce and wandered into The Frozen Farmer as well. They have quite a variety of homemade ice cream flavors to choose from. In addition to ice cream, they also sell sorbets, nice cream (part ice cream, part sorbet), sundaes, shakes, and seasonal goodies. Couldn't decide what to get, so decided to share three scoops of ice cream on a specialty waffle cone (cookies and cream). Got Bananas Foster and Sweet-N-Salty Caramel ice cream. I surprisingly enjoyed the Sweet-N-Salty Caramel more than the Bananas Foster. I like how the Sweet-N-Salty had pretzel pieces in there. The Bananas Foster just didn't taste like Bananas Foster to me. I'm not sure exactly what it tasted like. Definitely not bananas foster, though. Loved the cookies and cream waffle cone! I seriously would have just been happy eating the cone without any ice cream. So good! When I'm coming home from the beaches, I'll definitely be stopping by The Frozen Farmer again. So many ice cream flavors I want to try!

1 literal roll of the scooper of pb cup and 1 roll of cookie dough.

Very disappointed. Stopped at Evans market to pick up some things and decided to try the ice cream since I've never had Frozen Farmer. My husband and I both ordered 2 scoops in a cup. The total was $8 for both. What we got was 1 roll of the scooper of each flavor. The ice cream was good, but the portions were very small for the price. We won't be stopping here again. Comparatively speaking Vanderwende's and Island Creamery give bigger scoops for just about the same price. If this was put into a waffle cone it wouldn't even have filled it up. Pitiful

Butter Pecan (top w/so many pecan chunks) and Lemon Blueberry Ice Cream (bottom - w/frozen fresh whole blueberries)

Super generous portion and affordable price. Tried three flavors: Butter Pecan - LOTS of pecan chunks in a sweet creamy ice cream. Tasted great! Lemon Blueberry - light lemony flavored ice cream with some frozen fresh blueberry chunks. Coffee - very strong real coffee flavor! I think you can't go wrong with all the cream based flavors as well as ones with fresh fruits.

So finally I was able to get sweet corn ice cream and I now know why it's always sold out ! The sweet corn ice cream reminds me of summer. I was as thirsty as a camel in the desert and got a sweet Joe iced tea made with cane sugar, that was one of the best damn teas I've ever had ! The raw cane sugar was less processed tasting !

I tried 3 teaspoons to be sure it really was awful. Expensive and buyer beware.

I bought the nice cream in the supermarket. I bought butter pecan and orange creamsicle. The orange creamsicle was awful tasting. It had an off taste, nothing like an orange flavor.

Best ice cream EVER. It is now a must stop place on our way to the beach from now on. Very creamy and tasty. The run raising was my favorite along with coconut.

Of course we couldn't resist a couple apple cider donuts too. The sandwich I had was a great fill me up before the ride home. So I had to put back the nine dollars worth of turkey burgers and $11 worth of beets all because I didn't want to be imposed a 3% charge to use my DEBIT card. Debit means they get the money right away anyway. Minimal processing and it immediately goes to them from my checking account. Henceforth, I will only stop when I know have enough cash to get some meats, veggies and cookies. MEANING: instead of 12 visits a year it will probably be in the neighborhood of six times a year. And I won't be spending as much because I tend to spend more When I know I can pull it directly out of my bank account. My estimation is they will lose $600/yearly from me. I have to believe at least 5% of their current customer base will follow suit perhaps excepting summertime crowds who pass by it on the way to Ocean City, Maryland on their vacations. How dumb to alienate customers. Sorry to say. Their founder's in 1907 would be sad. I've loved you for a long time and this is how you repay mine and other's patronage? I'll be back because it's a cool place. Just spending a lot less.

People were waiting in line 10-15 just to order, do to everyone being in the back and one person out front. I ordered just 4 chicken strips with no fries and a drink but, kept being told the fries come with it. I told her no dipping sauce and she kept asking what dipping sauce I wanted and if I wanted a drink. I finally had to slow it down and explain to her I only wanted the chicken tenders, not the meal. Then she charged me for the meal anyway so I had to go back up to the counter and tell her she charged me wrong, she stated that since I didn't want the fries and drink that the meal comes with it's still charged as a meal. Another lady had to explain to her she overcharged me and that I only was suppose to be charge $5 and some change for 4 chicken strips so she had to put it through and send it back to my card. Then my husbands fries tasted cold and old plus his sandwich was just thrown together. The people in the back don't care what they serve you as long as they get it to you and it's disgusting. Bathrooms smelled so bad I couldn't even use them and they hadn't been cleaned in a few days. When he got his sundae from getting the $7 meal deal there was maybe a spoonful of caramel sauce on the whole sundae. I won't be back to this one ever, Denton, MD. has the best Dairy Queen around that's probably why they are ranked higher and have been getting achievements left and right. This one needs a full overhaul and fast because what is going on there now is not good service, good food or a clean atmosphere. They need a darn manager who actually cares and puts time into the place plus the workers working there.
