Dropped in late night while visiting Boca. Found this funky little gem. Walked in.... there was a cover since they had a live band... no worries I love supporting the arts. We paid a little extra to have a table but that does require food and drink minimum. Ordered drinks I got the espress yourself perfect late night pick me up. Now I was ready for a drunk snack and the menu looked great and that is what helped us decide on the funky biscuit as our stop. However about 10 minutes after ordering they came back to let us know that the kitchen had to unexpectedly close due to a family emergency for the cook ( I really hope everything is ok). We ended up ordering a second round of drinks to reach our table minimum since we couldn't get snacks I look forward to retuning to try the food next time I'm in town. The live band was amazing

Great venue to see jazz, bands, and blues bands. Went there on a dinner date very nice seating arrangements The food is pretty good as well. They have a lot of great entertainers that perform there. They also have a happy hour on Friday with free admission at 5 PM. Drink specials and happy hour food specials.

I had the shrimp and cheesy grits. The grits and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive. The drinks were not watered down like some bars. Very tasty! We ate outside during part of the first show while waiting for the 9 pm show. It was great as they had TV's outside so I could get a sample of what it was going to be like. This was my first jazz concert and I am hooked. Maria Meadows and band were phenomenal. I will definitely be going again to the Funky Biscuit for delicious food, drink and entertainment.

We enjoyed our visit to The Funky Biscuit. Not going to down play the 15 mins we drove around looking for a legal parking spot. A good Warning ‼ watch where you park Other than that we were anxious to get in because one of our favorite bands were performing that night. They offer indoor & outdoor seating however that night all the inside tables were reserved Ok so we decided to grab a table out on the patio. We certainly enjoyed the service food, music & atmosphere out on the patio. Our waitress never forgot about us & checked in with us a few time. They had a few tables set up on the patio with some vendors selling some cool stuff. Art,jewelry, shirts & yess dresses.... How cool Oh boy did Crazy Fingers perform that Taco Tuesday! We ordered cocktails before during & after the show. To start we order the spinach & artichoke dip with chips (it was taco Tuesday) so you guessed it we filled up on the tacos! then more tacos Calypso tacos with chicken. Then we enjoyed shrimp & grits. Everything was REALLY good We have been backa few times & the food is pretty consistent. We will always recommend the food & a Crazy Fingers concert at The Funky Biscuit. We will definitely return

Tonight was date night and we went with a musical mystery theme, starting at Funky Biscuit for a band neither of us had heard of. This was both our first time here but it won't be the last! Located around the back side of Mizner, parking suuuuuucks, but the venue itself is great. Dark and divey, with a decently sized stage, plus fast and friendly bartenders. The menu looks good but we just had a couple of funky biscuits to tide us over til dinner. Huge, buttery, soft, they were the perfect snack.

Great service by Noah! We had a reserved table. Appetizers and drinks served in record time! Menu items are moderately priced. Cocktails pricey at $17 apiece but we did enjoy our evening! Great ambiance. We ate before jazz saxophonist Paul Taylor begin his show. We had a great evening and plan to return again.

Well the Boca Black box, a small and intimate venue on Glades Road in Boca Raton is a hidden gem to say the least. The Black Box hosts some of the greatest country, 60's, 70's and 80's cover bands! Many are national acts that find their way to this wonderful little venue and light the place up. The owner, Randy is warm and inviting. I believe he did some standup comedy in his younger days, as he does a few minutes of comedy in the stage before each show. The venue seats only about 280 people. There is regular auditorium type seating and my favorite, personal tables along the perimeter that seat up to 8 people each. The ticket prices are very good and well worth it! The service is excellent and you are never left without a cocktail before and during the show. The waitresses are always walking around checking on everyone. They are friendly and friendly warm. Randy must be doing something right as I have been going to shows there for 3 years and the wait staff never changes. I know most of them personally now and always receive a warm welcome. There is noIt much in the way of food there, so enjoy a nice dinner before or after the show at one of the many restaurants located right near the venue. Give it a try! Relive your youth with some of the greatest cover bands in the USA. Party safely and enjoy life!

An old school retro american motorcycle/live music venue minutes from the beach. And I bet you it was. Before that billion dollar corporation had purchased it. Mind you, with all that money --they can't manage to put a lock on their bathroom door or keep their toilet paper full. Most of the bands are semi karaoke with the backup musicians all pretending to play. Don't take my word for it, just watch for a couple seconds, and you'll figure it out. Double roads and funky biscuit and many other music venues around this neighborhood, between Boca and Jupiter, have actual bands playing actual musical instruments. So if you're interested in that, you might want to go elsewhere. I don't really come here for the music. I sort of come here too just watch the interesting array of characters that pop inside. And just to relax while having a drink. The music is OK though. I guess it's better than just listening to TouchTunes. And some of the Fake musicians do put on a good show. The biggest problem with the spot is the attitude of the bartenders. I'm not saying that they're bad people. But they're really not happy. And the odd thing is, having lived in Santa Barbara and many other beach towns, it's a rare thing to live in such a beautiful place or working in one at least, and be so pissed off. Particularly when you're young. So I don't know what their problem is, but I think whoever owns this place should take them on a field trip or something. Maybe buy them a new watch or a car or whatever. Still, there are exceptions. And it's not a bad place if you're going be in tourist trap Delray. Which I would avoid in general. Regarding food: it's gone super downhill. So they really need a new chef and likely a new menu,
