This past Sunday, June 14th, we spent the day at Throw Social celebrating both an 18th birthday and a 48th birthday with a large group of family and friends. We reserved two cabanas, and from start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout the day, making sure our group had everything we needed. Despite the size of our party, service remained friendly and efficient. A special shout-out to the first DJ of the day, who absolutely set the tone for the event. The music selection was excellent, with a great mix that appealed to both the younger crowd and the adults. He kept the energy up without it being overwhelming and created a fun, upbeat atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The venue offered a great balance of entertainment, food, drinks, and social space, making it a perfect location for a celebration with guests of all ages. We came here on a Saturday afternoon after brunch. There was a rock band and I was disappointed to find out the dart boards had been removed. I then proceeded to the back where the other games are located to my surprise the axe throwing was a goner too. There was however two basketball machines which one was not working. I attended today's K Pop Demon Hunters brunch with my 5 year old who has severe food allergies. I knew it was a brunch buffet so we set our expectations that there may not be accommodations for her. The manager working the event was very kind to us and after I explained my daughter's allergies, she personally checked the ingredients and had a special plate prepared in the back for her. I am obsessed with this place, it's my favorite spot in all of Delray. Truly this is the most instagrammable spot - I HIGHLY recommend for a stop if you're on a bachelorette, a birthday, girls night out.. whatever it may be, come here with your girls for a good time! I love all of the adorable neon signs everywhere, all of which are a play on words for the flamingo theme. The inside is gorgeous, there are two couches to the left and right when you walk in for photo opps or whatever your vibe is with cute decor, there's an area adjacent with dart boards inclusive with iPads that keep score, and outdoors out back.. wow. You will end here and love it! The vibe is dance / clubby but elevated. There's a live DJ, two bars, tons of drinks, and a guaranteed great time. They have a huge fan out there by the dance floor so don't worry too much that it's outdoors. There's cabanas, lots of seating.. I have nothing bad to say about this place it is SO GOOD!! We got here at 11:30 -2 adults and with a dog. They said it was first come first serve for outside seating. Me grabbed a little high top, and the waitress offered us a doggy bowl. Our table smelled like old mop though. I had to grab my hand sanitizer and actually clean the table lol. We looked over the menu and decided to do the unlimited mimosas for $25. We went through maybe 5-6 bottles. Ordered off the menu; chicken & waffles, coconut shrimp, BLT with fries. Everything was good. The dj played we danced and made friends. I came here for a Bar Mitzvah where they rented the whole establishment out for the evening. Everything from the staff to the ambiance to the fun and creative picture spots was a 10/10 even the bathroom was nice. The customer service really needs a reality check. Customer service sets the tone, so it's crucial for staff to be genuinely friendly and positive. People go out, especially on their birthdays, to feel celebrated, have fun, socialize, and soak up good vibes. That's the whole reason anyone even goes out. Anytime it's my birthday, places usually do birthday perks and things like that to make the day extra special. I don't expect a yes, but I do expect basic, decent human kindness, especially from customer service. It was my birthday and I asked if there was free entry for birthday girls. I can show my ID and everything. Most places do this. But I also completely understand if not. Not even a smile or a "happy birthday," just a blunt "ENTRY IS $10" delivered with an eye roll and a death stare. The attitude completely killed the vibe from the very start. The girl at the front was cold, nasty, and rude. I honestly won't be coming back EVER again, especially since I went out of my way to drive 40 minutes. At least I got one good photo, I guess. Throw Social is a whole VIBE! I had the best time hanging out here with friends! We grabbed a cozy cabana, ordered some cocktails , and just soaked up the fun energy of the place. It's super laid-back but still buzzing with life -- the perfect combo if you ask me! Their happy hour is -- everything on the menu was $10 or less and it runs until 7:00 p.m., which gave us plenty of time to try a few different drinks and bites without breaking the bank. I came to Throw Social on a some what "slow" Sunday and I'm happy I did. Our serve Hershel was amazing. He was energetic, polite and personable. His exceptional service was the highlight of our visit. It was a rainy Sunday, regardless they had a DJ playing hits after hits! I got to try this place out attending a live band karaoke birthday party, and had an absolute blast! Bungalows are cute little private seating areas but lack of airflow means it's hot as heck, so choose to sweat in comfort or brave the floor trying to find space at a table. We tried several things on the menu and the food is decent, as good as any other bar food. Drinks are good, with several specialty cocktails on the menu but bottle service prices are crazy!! Was really excited to go here yesterday but was unfortunately very disappointed. Gave it 2 stars because of the vibey layout. The atmosphere was super cute, warm, and inviting when we walked in, so I thought it was a no brainer. Menus were brought over and they honestly smelled like sour vomit. We guessed it must have been a musty rag that was used to wipe the menus because the cloth napkins with silverware also smelled terrible. Before noticing, I put the napkin on my lap and was like "why are my legs wet?" - then I smelled it... The bartender came over and was like "yeah I saw your faces after smelling and wanted to take this away for you". I ordered a simple omelet as it was listed as gluten free. Told the waitress about my allergy and switched the side to fruit. When the food came to our table, I noticed that toast was definitely put on top of my omelet due to the noticeable bread crumbs. I took one bite of the mushroom mozzarella and onion omelet and it was a wrap. The mushroom tasted disgusting, the cheese looked like a fake liquid cheese and was sour, and just nothing was worth eating. The other 3 friends at the table each took a bite and spit it out immediately. Our waitress didn't check on us or even deliver the check since she was yapping with a coworker for a while so I couldn't even try to talk to her about the poor quality. Someone else came to help us pay and I paid over $19 for a terrible "brunch". This is why I don't live on the east side of Florida. read more

There's so much happening in one place! From the time you walk in, you already know it's going to be a good time. Inside the restaurant is very chic and quiet, perfect for dates with a more intimate feel. There's a bar side with high tops, and the other has tables, perfect for larger group, along with 4 interactive darts boards. Towards the back is the open air patio, where you'll find the party. A live DJ on stage spinning tracks from the 90s, early 2000s, music from the islands and all over. It will really get you on the party mode once you step out there. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and you are greeted right away as you walk in. Although we did not order anything to eat here, we did have some drinks, a virgin mojito, and a few rounds of Jameson. My poor friend picked this place for her birthday brunch. We are all 55+. Unbeknownst to her Sunday brunch is all R&B and very loud. We were approx 20 women and hardly anyone else was in the restaurant and the DJ refused to lower the music. We could not carry on a conversation so we moved to inside where the music was only slightly lower. No orders were taken for 1 hour. And some did not get food for 11/2 hrs. After spending $16 to park in corrupt Delray this just made my day. Also my stuffed French toast lacked the cream cheese stuffing and when I brought it to the attention of the manchild manager his only response was " I'll speak to the kitchen" Beware. The live band before 11 pm was fantastic and made a difference once they left and the music greatly declined to play EDM like music for about two hours before pop music and radio hits played. Food took a long time to come out which was expected for a Saturday night. My burger and mini sliders with french fries came out cold as if my food was stirring there before arriving to me. Everything from the lighting on the walls, to the drinks. The coolest part is the outside patio. It's outside, with what I think is a retractable roof in case of rain. But I've been here for live events and it gets so wild. Other than Tin Roof, this is easily the only bar on the strip to maintain that concert-like vibe on weekends. The outside bar is awesome too. We were here pretty late at night and started with a Cobb salad and a margarita, both of which were fine, but the drink prices were shocking--$12 for a Red Bull felt steep. The entire place is visually impressive and it looks like it was designed with instagram pics in mind. It's also a fun spot for groups, with games like darts adding to the lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, the music was a big disappointment. DJ Peter Gonzalez's set felt completely unorganized, jumping between genres without any sense of rhythm or flow.
