This place is closed. Very frustrating as we traveled quite a while to get there. It clearly had been close a while.

Our goal is to provide the Best Selection, Prices, and Customer Service for all of your gaming needs. Visitation Rights: Couple of times. Background On Visit: Just recently I got into collection pokemon cards again. I sure wished I saved my cards, but what I found out from others is that it's never to late to start collecting again. For now, I'm deciding to create a binder with all 151 pokemons and maybe invest in some popular cards. Offerings: They carry all the newest and hottest trading cards, as well as some of the most rare and hard to find cards. They also have a wide selection of gaming accessories, from dice and bags to playmats and sleeves. If you're looking for something special, they can even special order cards from their Frank and Son's booth location! Mainly a Yugioh/Pokemon shop. Credit Cards: They're accepted. They tack on tax if you use card. For ETB/bundles/packaged items, they only accept cash. Location/Parking: Major cross streets are Tyler and Main. Parking can be found in front or in the neighboring streets. Ambiance/Decor: Your typical trading card/accessory shop. They also have tables towards the back to play some riveting games of Yugioh or Pokemon. Entertainment: So far I've noticed they've been having Yugioh Tournaments. I probably think they have pokemon tournaments also. Pricing: Most of the card prices are based off of tcgplayer.com. They're fair. I got a decent amount nice cards at this location. Domino City Gaming For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to explore, shop, sell, and trade cards.

Sold the same slab for $170 got low balled for $110. Didn't mind it, I let it slide because they have to make money I guess. Got store credit, got 4 buddle boxes. Ascending hero and prismatic bundle were clearly resealed. Went back and confronto and let him know about. The wrapping was off and cards on the set were flipped. The worst part was that home boy tried schooling me like I was stupid Buddy was overwhelmed with people. Took the L on this one. Definitely not coming back. Got robed $300 for sure. Figure it was a trash spot, it is El Monte after all lol.

Staff here is great. They're friendly and very informative which is always a nice sight to see for newcomers. In the back, you'll find many tables where people visit to play all types of games. Ranging from board games, cards, DnD, and list goes on. Best part is that you can try all types of games for free. My wife and I visited with some friends and we had such a wonderful time playing board games. Time flew by so fast as we were all having fun. I'd say the tables could use some cleaning but very spacious overall. Parking is out in the back but it's pretty limited. Street parking is also available but watch out for time slots. Overall, very happy about Odyssey Games, very much a must visit spot if you love board games. Place can get packed as you'll often find plenty of people here. Love to visit again soon to try new board games.

A few weeks ago I was looking to get some games to play with my family. My sister gave me 3 recommendations (Ito, Things in Rings, Hot Streak). I walked in and, after taking a few rounds through the densely stocked rows and shelves, and, not finding any of them, asked for help. They had two of the games so I got them. We've played Things with Rings (basically figuring out Venn diagram categories) several times at family game night and are starting to get the hang of it. It's a large shop (especially for games and figurines), and they host events too. Definitely a fun place to browse and get new games.

They were extremely friendly and provided me with some insight into this hobby. There were a lot of figurines available, and supplies to paint them. They hold sessions that do not crossover to local shops nearby (Odyssey games, geeky teas, Pegasus, etc.). This is one of 3 Warhammer cafes and the displays they have on the floor come from the European countries. They only sale and allow Warhammer related items in the store. They have some tables where people can play for free and use their space for any social gatherings for Warhammer. They host events here and there for people to learn or gain knowledge in this world. They also have a little Cafe inside where you can get some desserts and drinks. The figurines are costly and this is a very expensive hobby. Even though I didnt purchase anything, they were all very friendly and didnt force us to purchase anything. I believe their intent is to educate people in the art of RPGs and the amazing skills it takes to paint and create figurines. No judgments are given to those who walk into the store.
