My child has a strong passion for gaming of all manners and this store caters to it perfectly. I took my oldest out with me here for our first visit to purchase a gift card for his teacher and have him pick out something for his birthday, if there was anything. This store had a great selection and variety of merchandise and a dedicated area for table top games. This dedicated area does required a fee paid to access and staff can explain more if interested. The gentleman that help my child and I was so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. In addition to purchasing the gift card, I also bought my child's first die set of his own. If you have someone who has strong interests in gaming - especially games like Dungeons and Dragons, Magic The Gathering, etc. - this is a great place to purchase gifts. They love their community and it shows. Their selection is mostly good just depending on what TCGs you're into. I would say their pokemon selection is probably their weakest, but, it seems like their mostly strive off of other TCG like MTG, etc. and them having pokemon is just them trying to broaden their selection for their customers who happen to be interested. I respect it. As far as value goes I think they are excellent. Their sealed product is often priced fairly in my experience. For example, most other LGS I've been to have riftbound spiritforge packs priced from $9+ while Orcs lair is about $6. which is market, as we know the market can change so this can to but this is a clear indication that they strive to be as fair as financially possible. They are also great when it comes to trade in, transparently their trade in percentage is low for my liking and they only offer in store credit, but for the size of the store and it being a single location honestly it makes sense. I can understand that especially when compared to the big popular LGS that offer similar trade in percentages. On top of that I have been offered on multiple occasions if I thought the trade in was fair and if I think they accurately assessed the condition of the card, on one occasion I did think they were offering me kinda low on a card and when I expressed that they looked into it a bit more and agreed and bumped it up. They are also the only LGS I have been to in this area that has told me that they're flexible on the sticker price reliant to TCG player. Overall, best most transparent and friendly store I have been to. Definitely my preferred store in the area. If you guys read these yelp reviews truly know you're doing great out here compared to the competition they suck butt.

That really showed on a recent visit when I tried to return a can of paint I had bought the day before, after realizing I already had that color. The store manager looked at me like a disapproving parent, sighed, and told me I "return too many items." She didn't say I was breaking any store policy -- only that it was inconvenient for them. I've made returns before, always with a receipt and always following their clearly posted return policy. For how much I've supported the store, it honestly offended me to be spoken to that way. It felt condescending and uncomfortable in a place I used to really enjoy. I did get my refund as a gift card, and I went back today knowing it would probably be my last visit. I picked up a board game and set it down on a table while I looked up what sleeves I'd need. An employee came over, took the game without a word, and put it back on the shelf. I said, "Oh, I was going to get that," and he just said "oh" and walked away. When I went to check out, that same employee -- who knew my name -- had a rude attitude the entire time. After I asked for my receipt, he looked at me and said, "Mind the return policy this time." That sealed it for me. I won't be going back to this store, even though I still have reward points left from all my past purchases. It just doesn't feel like a welcoming or safe space anymore. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a hobby store, and that's really disappointing after years of being a loyal customer.

I love their large $1 bin for issues and how they organize their new issues for the week, trades from DC/Marvel, mangas, and dedicated kids section. Samurai is somewhere you'd definitely want to come back to every week.
