The Garage Door Guy (Eric) was great! My parents home needed a new garage door install and automatic opener. Home still had original wood garage door from 1950s! We had 4 different providers come out to assess and give quotes. Eric was our last visit and he was a breath of fresh air. 2 of the 4 companies seemed to be local companies but were not and instead sent sales people--they were nice but pushing a sale. Eric and another provider were local and gave good overview. Eric was very professional, quickly assessed the project and gave a firm very competitive quote for install of new door, opener, and fixing of rotted wood trim with install date availability within 4 days--including a 5 year material and labor warranty. Given his very competitive quote and that his business is local and focused on garage doors we went with his bid. On morning of install Eric texted that the door we agreed on was not ready and he would not be able to install that day. Eric was very professional about it, offered to install within couple days and reduced price of overall quote for inconvenience. Truly an honest act of business integrity and solid value for his customers and his word. On day of install Eric showed up and did an outstanding meticulous job--from old door removal to replacing wood trim to testing the system numerous times to assure all was correct.
