The Garage is such a hidden gem! I had no idea this bar was there, but now that I know about it, I'll definitely be coming back. I actually went two days in a row, so I think that says it all. Their happy hour (11 AM-7 PM, I believe) is one of the best deals around. It's buy one, get one, and they give you drink chips that you can redeem during happy hour. Just make sure you use the playing chips during happy hour because they aren't valid outside those hours. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bar was super clean, and the drinks were amazing. I tried the Mocha Charger Martini and the Key Lime Martini, and both were so delicious. Even getting there right before 11 AM, the place already had great energy. I also loved the garage-themed decor, the cute patio, and the all-gender restrooms. They have pool tables too, and while they do serve food, it wasn't available yet when I arrived right at 11 AM. Pleasantly surprised. I went not expecting to like it as much as I did... though I do love cars and car culture. The bartenders were great, poured a strong drink... Crowd was nice, a good mix of ethnicities, body types, vibes... nice to be in a place that didn't seem just for one type... though with the car theme it may have been a little bit more of a 'bro energy' vibe. The atmosphere feels like a straight bar, but with LGBTQIA+ staff and possibly management. It seems like a place where a down-low (DL) guy might feel more comfortable, as it maintains a more traditionally straight vibe. It's also a great place to pregame due to the low prices and strong drinks. The bartender, Robert, knows customers by name, adding to the friendly atmosphere. The restrooms only have air dryers and no paper towels. They offer food from 5 pm to 1 am most days.
