We attended a very poor attempt at a kink/goth/industrial night here last night. The bartender had absolutely no idea what she was doing and was very rude about it, made my girl feel like she was bothering her because she asked to use contactless payment. There was an advertised "playspace" that was non-existent. There was a really sloppy lingerie / burlesque show, then when we actually did start playing, we were asked by the management to stop (after a crowd gathered around us in awe) after we stop, then we are approached by management again and told we could play again. Instead we packed up our bags and left as quickly as possible down the street to karaoke and had a great time. We will never be back. Calling this place a Dive Bar is an overstatement. A complete waste of a $15 cover per head, and the early start of our evening.

The Dive Bar is just that. It for sure is one of the cheapest bars in the city. Much better than anything on the Strip. It often has live acts. There's a cover at nights usually. It has a good happy hour. Wells are about $2 each. You can't find better deals anywhere in Vegas. It may be cheap because they don't spend much on electricity. The place is hard to see inside because there's almost no lights on. As someone mentioned, there's an Elvis lamp behind the bar. The bartenders and employees are low key and not trying to impress you. This is a favorite place for locals. It's far away from the Strip so there's hardly any tourists here. This is a good way to get to know about the local music scene.

Just wandering around while friends were still asleep, exploring a bit, and it ended up being one of the best random stops I've made. Best dollar I've probably spent in Vegas was on that hot dog. No joke. Simple, quick, and it hit exactly the way it needed to. Sometimes that's all you want. This place isn't fancy at all, and that's exactly why it works. It's a break from the Strip. No pressure, no over the top pricing, just a real, old school Vegas feel. You walk in and it's got character. You can tell it's been around and has history behind it. It's one of those places that reminds you Vegas wasn't always about high end everything. There's still spots like this that keep it real. Ever since I found it, I've made it a point to stop by when I'm in town. It just became part of the routine. Great way to kick off the day, or honestly anytime. Love this place.

Located on Twain Avenue, between Palos Verdes Street and Paradise Road. Their AYCD Thursday Nights (9PM to 1AM) is incredible and similar to their Sunday Funday beer bust, 4PM to 8PM. Located directly next door to FLEX, FHR offers more a rustic vibe, very leather/levi bar welcome of all. They have great bear nights, support local on goings like Las Vegas Pride, Smokeout Las Vegas and numerous others. The bartenders as well as the barbacks are plenty personable, with a lot of personality. Jukebox is solid and you can even download the AMI Play app which works for their Jukebox and similar digital Jukeboxes wherever you go. I got a couple of songs in. It can fill up fast depending on the night, time of day or day of the week and/or weekend. I can tell you Friday through Sunday was very busy, especially Saturday nights. It was great to hangout with my buds back from LA, run into friends from other states visiting for the weekend and make some new ones as well. Cigar friendly, but it can get a little smokey inside, even with the doors open, you can smoke outside as well, just no drinks allowed outside of the bar. There's plenty of parking, though rideshare or a great designated driver is your friend. Reminds me a little of some of my favorite gay dive bars in Los Angeles, as well as other areas and states. Very feel good, no attitude vibes. Open 24/7 - great acoustics, flat screens, restrooms and support for local happenings.

All kinds of 80s knickknacks in the restaurant as well as the bar. A lot of the menu items have cool names. We had the Doc Brown burger with pepper-jack cheese and the Tetris tots. All of the veggies inside were fresh, and we both really liked the pepper jack cheese. It had just a little bit of a kick to it. The tots were done just right, not to crispy, and not too soft either. Supposedly, they are looking around Sacramento, trying to find a place that they can open and come back to town. I hope it happens. Thanks for a good meal.

Doc brown burger was ok, nothing to talk about and the grilled chkn sandwich lacked flavor. Didn't help the bread was so toasted, I got a cut from bitting down on it.
