We attended a very poor attempt at a kink/goth/industrial night here last night. The bartender had absolutely no idea what she was doing and was very rude about it, made my girl feel like she was bothering her because she asked to use contactless payment. There was an advertised "playspace" that was non-existent. There was a really sloppy lingerie / burlesque show, then when we actually did start playing, we were asked by the management to stop (after a crowd gathered around us in awe) after we stop, then we are approached by management again and told we could play again. Instead we packed up our bags and left as quickly as possible down the street to karaoke and had a great time. We will never be back. Calling this place a Dive Bar is an overstatement. A complete waste of a $15 cover per head, and the early start of our evening.

The Dive Bar is just that. It for sure is one of the cheapest bars in the city. Much better than anything on the Strip. It often has live acts. There's a cover at nights usually. It has a good happy hour. Wells are about $2 each. You can't find better deals anywhere in Vegas. It may be cheap because they don't spend much on electricity. The place is hard to see inside because there's almost no lights on. As someone mentioned, there's an Elvis lamp behind the bar. The bartenders and employees are low key and not trying to impress you. This is a favorite place for locals. It's far away from the Strip so there's hardly any tourists here. This is a good way to get to know about the local music scene.

Just wandering around while friends were still asleep, exploring a bit, and it ended up being one of the best random stops I've made. Best dollar I've probably spent in Vegas was on that hot dog. No joke. Simple, quick, and it hit exactly the way it needed to. Sometimes that's all you want. This place isn't fancy at all, and that's exactly why it works. It's a break from the Strip. No pressure, no over the top pricing, just a real, old school Vegas feel. You walk in and it's got character. You can tell it's been around and has history behind it. It's one of those places that reminds you Vegas wasn't always about high end everything. There's still spots like this that keep it real. I had never been to this bar before…read moreor even heard of it so was excited to check it out (even though I'm pregnant and can't drink right now haha). This bar is really nice and much bigger than it looks from the outside. They have pool tables and a stage where there was a live band playing later that night that was really good. I loved that when they band was on that they also had them on the TV screens. The girl that was our server was really nice but seemed a bit scattered and overwhelmed by the crowd that was there. My husband got to try their tiramisu pudding shot and he said it was damn good. I was so jealous, it looked so good. I ended up just having water. The first time my husband got me the water at the bar and it was a bottled one. Later I did try to order another water from our server and she asked if we had a tab open. I was confused by it because I just wanted the tap water and she said that she was told she needs to sell bottled water instead... I found that really offputting. Not her fault at all, but whatever management told her that, I found it really weird. I'm pregnant and in a bar, but beside that, for people drinking, you can't just provide them water? I've never seen that happen at a bar and seems kinda unsafe if you ask me. Well $4 bottled water later.... hahaha. So odd. I also tried to order the smores but they were out. Bummer. But my family ordered wings, cheesburgers and mozarella sticks. I had some of the mozzarella sticks. They were okay. I did like the panko crust though. I don't know if I'd come back here again after I have the baby. The water thing was really offputting to me. But the vibe here is really fun! I loved the live band and thought they were great and again, our server was really nice.

I had a blast, even though the front bar was really the only section open on a Wednesday night. I arrived around 10:45pm and there was no cover. The music was jammin, go go boys were great, and it had a fun atmosphere. I had a conversation with a local who explained the layout of the full nightclub and the different sections. Located on Twain Avenue, between Palos Verdes Street and Paradise Road. Their AYCD Thursday Nights (9PM to 1AM) is incredible and similar to their Sunday Funday beer bust, 4PM to 8PM. Located directly next door to FLEX, FHR offers more a rustic vibe, very leather/levi bar welcome of all. They have great bear nights, support local on goings like Las Vegas Pride, Smokeout Las Vegas and numerous others. The bartenders as well as the barbacks are plenty personable, with a lot of personality. Jukebox is solid and you can even download the AMI Play app which works for their Jukebox and similar digital Jukeboxes wherever you go. I got a couple of songs in. It can fill up fast depending on the night, time of day or day of the week and/or weekend. I can tell you Friday through Sunday was very busy, especially Saturday nights. It was great to hangout with my buds back from LA, run into friends from other states visiting for the weekend and make some new ones as well. Cigar friendly, but it can get a little smokey inside, even with the doors open, you can smoke outside as well, just no drinks allowed outside of the bar. There's plenty of parking, though rideshare or a great designated driver is your friend. Reminds me a little of some of my favorite gay dive bars in Los Angeles, as well as other areas and states. That was convincing enough, so we stopped by for some drinks. Ambiance (3/5): Pretty much your average bar. And a small one at that. There's some seating around the L-shaped bar and a few high tops surrounding the perimeter. They will put on a show here and there by juggling bottles, offering free swigs of mixed drinks, and other debauchery. Service (4/5): Given that it's a small bar, you're not competing with a lot of people to get the bartenders' attention. With that being said, they had multiple bartenders and that definitely helps. Pretty good overall. Food (N/A): They don't serve food. Drinks (3.5): I used by BOGO deal (which you can use on anything) for two orange tea shots. Not a lot of bars have the orange Jameson needed to make this shot, so I couldn't say no when I saw it. My excitement died down a little bit when I found out the one shot is $18. Taking the deal into account, it's still a pretty good deal as you're paying $9 per shot. Normally though, $18 is pretty steep for a mixed shot, so they close the gap on the deal by upping the price of the original drink a bit. All good though. Still a chill spot to turn up.
