Let's Flex! Haven't been to this cool bar nightclub in a HOT minute, but being next door to another LV favorite, we had to stop in. Stellar dance floor, cool bartenders and patrons. Completely different vibe from their Fun Hog Ranch other than being a safe space for all. This longstanding gay bar has been through some rough patches, but always managed to come back strong. They have cool events like karaoke nights, drag shows, bear nights, creative art nights, extra club beats and/or disco theme nights. Flex was pretty mellow at midnight compared to FHR, which was packed to the max, but it made more sense considering the con and conventions going on for cigars (Smokeout) and Furcon (furries) The parking lot was full for both regardless and there was a decent crowd on a Saturday night. Social media presence is kind of in a lull since the end of 2025, but the potential is beyond there. Not sure if they still serve food as they did before (however vending machine with snacks available), formerly on Charleston Blvd - they're definitely making a mark on Twain Ave, hope to see them thrive more. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... Vegas local for years. This bar is one of the worst of the gay bars in Vegas. The bartenders are very cold and not the friendliest and the customers are cliquey and mean. One of the owners looks old and haggard from being drunk and on drugs all the time while working. The other owner is a short straight guy without a clue on how to support the gay community but would be good at a soup kitchen. If you are good looking, smart, and in anyway a masculine gay man, avoid this bar and the neighboring bar Fun Hog. read more

MOOD: Saturday night. Need some fresh air No reservation- walk in COVID MEASURES: Social distance tables. Listed as limited capacity The food was not very good but the price point was fair for what you got. The drinks were about $6-7 and was actually pretty strong so that's good. There was a a variety of different music types which was good. Our server seemed a little annoyed from start to finish and was also talking on his cell phone a few times he came by to take our order. Not a bad place if you would just want a lowkey vibe to go out but there are better bars. read more

First timer here and I guess it is a relatively new location across from the Fun Hog bar. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is pretty nice inside. Very modern and clean. Never again. I stopped by Flex to check it out and couldn't get served. I was on one side of the bar and the bartender took the order of the person next to me and ignored me. I then went to the other side where he took orders from 2 different folks then walked away when it was my turn. I even attempted to get his attention and he just ignored me. This was my first time at FLEX and last. This place is small and in a very competitive market, the bartenders should be alert, aware and ready to take your cash....not a this place. read more

This was a totally fun experience. I went on a Friday night when they have karaoke sponsored by Maximum Comics. Such fun! It's a total dive bar, but in that way that is just awesome. They have seats around the bar, as well as some hightop tables. There's a small stage, a DJ (or in this case KJ) booth, some room for dancing, pool tables, etc. They have gaming and will comp drinks. They also have drink specials. They have very little on draft, but lots of bottle options for beer. The bartender was super nice, attentive, and funny. The bathrooms weren't scary. And there's a free condom dispenser too. It was a cool crowd - just enough people to be fun. Not too many people to be crowded. There's also a little place to order food from. The food is super cheap and surprisingly quite tasty. I don't know if the nachos were the best in all of Vegas, but they were darn good and loaded with toppings (and so cheap). They most definitely hit the spot. In sum, this is a great dive and I had a blast. read more

Happy, friendly staff with the best happy hour anywhere in vegas. DJK spins the music on thursday, friday and Saturday until late night. We showed up just right after noon and we were the only ones in there but the music and bartender was on point and very welcoming and friendly. The place is clean and we'll kept and they have pool tables and darts in the back room. They always have drink specials and let alone the drinks are cheap as it is. Holy molly. This place. The drag show is amazing because of how charismatic the queens are. When tipping some of them, you can see in their eyes how passionate they are for what they do. The service is great and although we came on a night were the crowd was mediocre, these ladies just make the night. We came on a Saturday night for the drag show. I love Flex. I've come out here a few times now for Fundraising shows. The bar is dark, like a dive bar should be. Drinks are CHEAP. I've had good encounters with all of the bartenders so far. I love the stage. Its badass, and makes seeing the shows much easier. I hear they have karaoke sometimes, which I'd love to come to, but my work schedule prevents it. Great work, Flex! It's pretty nice on the inside. People say this place is a dive bar, but it's not anymore! The inside actually looks nice! I guess it was remodeled, and I think they did a good job. They have a snazzy stage too! You can either walk up, or come out of curtains along the back. I liked that effect, and it's gives the queens options :) I guess there used to be strippers here. I saw plenty of high heels and sparkly dresses, but no strippers :-( The bar was modern looking, almost like it would belong in a steakhouse or some chain restaurant. The only thing that I thought was weird was when I tried to pay with a card, the bartender asked me if that's all I wanted to put on it. When I was like, "ummm, yeah I guess. Why?" He informed me that you can't add the tip after. You had to add it before he rung you up. Ohhhhhh-kaaaay. Thought that was a little weird, but whatever. From the outside this place looks like a pueblo-single-floor-ranch house -gone wrong...about 2007. Upon walking in it quickly becomes evident that dive it is not. Ultra lounge is ain't either. This place is well sized and well laid out for the local queer community. This is a good hometown gay watering hole. Sure you're in Vegas but if you like to see how the locals roll, then this is a queer staple. Another Yelp reward spot- upon checking in at Flex, Yelp rewards pop up with a $2 shot of any UV vodka. Hump day in Vegas doesn't yield a packed house but it's not overwhelming for those who don't do crowds. Two pool tables , double dart boards and strategically placed digital slots built into the bar provide enough to single or multi-player entertainment. Draft beer choices are limited to 2 - the usual suspects for any gay bar across America (bud light and blue moon). Aging up you drink to the cocktail level opens up double full bars sporting what seems like the entire catalog of UV vodka, 5 rows of Absolut choices along with plenty of other bar hard Liquors. It's Vegas and smoking inside bars and casinos is still legal. Most local watering holes ( and most casinos) have a constant cloud of cigarette smoke causing those non-smokers to either constantly worry about their clothes or choke while just trying to breathe. At flex the industrial AC and plenty of ceiling fans keep the air flow going and the spacious layout keeps you from having the very light 2nd hand smoke hard to detect. I'm not saying that one can't tell, it's just not the smokey dive you might expect. Throughout the venue plenty of tv screens keep you updated on specials and all play the same thing simultaneously so no area of the bar offers a blind spot to the bar info. A vending machine offers standard blend of chips to candy bars to gum. Otherwise if you need to carb up or got the munchies this is not a one stop solution. The decor is modestly modern without any uber fanciness. Artfully placed color changing lights and led ribbons add a rainbow effect throughout the space without being overtly "gay" ( the M4M PDA does this just fine). Lighting is more colorful than helpful for seeing and somehow this dark bar just doesn't seem like a dark boozey place. The clientele here are real people. No pretension, no drama queens, no lottery winners here. Dress code is a blend of those who just got off work and those who just put on slippers and walked here. read more

Best Drag Show ever! Seriously. If you are in Vegas and looking for a drag show this one is so much fun! It's off the strip, free show, free parking, affordable strong ass drinks and just a great friggin time. It's every Saturday at 11pm. Different Queens each show but hosted by Alex Serpa and SableBleu, they are amazing and they have different guests every week. It's always a great time,and a great show. It's a kick back chill vibe and a very interactive, in your face show. I've been 3 times so far and I just want to go all the time lmao. I do go every chance I get, and if anyone every tells me they are looking for a drag show this is where I take them. I wish I was there right now lmao. This show is legit and always a fun time. Sometimes they even have a taco truck! I would and do recommend this show to anyone wanting to see a great Drag Show, especially if it's your first time, this is the place for you lol. read more

The reason I'm even giving this place 2 stars instead of 0-1 is because the drag show was pretty entertaining.The Bartenders are amazingly friendly and around 11 they have a $10 well all- you- can-drink-all-night special. Aside from that... WOW!!! HOLE IN THE WALL in a crusty neighborhood next to a strip mall. I wasn't expecting much after perusing the reviews left on Yelp but I really didn't expect to be walking into a smoke filled nightmare. funny thing was they actually had a VIP section. i'm kind of ranting here but it's because I can't wrap my brain around how horrible the place is. It's like going to a garage party when you were in High school but take away the hot guy you had a crush on and replace him with the 8th year senior that's at all the parties. oh and i had to do laundry after because EVERYTHING i was wearing smelled like the carpet in the suncoast casino.
