My old (25-year old) Liftmaster was starting to fail, would no longer respond to remote control request to close the door. Steve came out the same day to diagnose the problem but since it wasn't a sensor issue there wasn't a lot more he could do than replace it with a new opener. Texted him the next day to see about replacing it and he responded right away, and came out that afternoon to replace the old unit with a brand new Liftmaster and recommended I replace the wheels on the garage door, which I did. I did ask if I should have the bracket installed which he said it's not worth it, but everything online says you need to. I am not sure if drilling the J arm back into the door was okay or not, will keep everyone updated if it rips out again. read more

Had quite the accident last night as my SUV's trunk began to open as the garage door was closing. It bent the frames, pins popped out, to get the garage somewhat safely shut throughout the night we had to push it down from the inside and crawl out, and the top right corner of the door wasn't on track at all. Urgent Garage Doors called me right away and sent someone out within 2 hours on a Sunday. Free quote and can do any repairs same day. They replaced my spring which was broken for $645, the other one was ok (another shop wanted to replace both without even seeing it). They also helped with sensors and even my in car opener to see if they can link it. They did that without charging extra Ilya was the one who helped and he did a very good job. He was honest when I asked about things like if I needed the motor replaced and when I asked about frequency of maintenance as good practice. He also did a good job explaining the mechanics to a dummy like me so I appreciate his patience. He quoted me a motor replacement for the future (as it still has time on it) and it was around $650- 700 as of today. I will for sure use him when it's time to replace and/or do my maintenance ($175) in a couple of years (whichever comes first). Highly recommend to anyone in the Irvine/OC area read more
