Don't bother coming here! It looks amazing on Instagram but the place is a hot mess in person! Let's start off with the fact that they cannot properly accommodate parties of 8 or more. They need to stop advertising that on their IG. Their booths only sit 8 people. We were a party of 11, and 4 of our friends were sitting on OTTOMANS. While the rest of the table were sitting on the booth/chairs. We felt so bad for the table next to us, because we were basically on top of them. We were so embarrassed. They have no air conditioning, only fans that blow hot air. So be prepared to sweat if you plan on coming here on a hot summer day. Also, don't bother getting the unlimited mimosas, it's just orange juice in a glass. Or matter of fact, good-luck even getting drinks because your server comes around every 40 mins. For a 2 hour brunch, we spent more time waiting on drinks/food than actually enjoying ourselves. Also, if you're a big hookah smoker please check the water in the base. We had disgusting particles in our hookah water!! They do not clean out their hookahs. Just an awful place of business. They only care about flipping tables. First just want to state that my partner and I traveled from Brooklyn to come here. When we arrived, we had to wait in line to get in. The host working, Valerie, told everyone at one point that it would be a 25-minute wait but then came back to tell us 10 minutes later and said it would be an hour wait. We are very understanding, so we were okay with the change, but then she came back 15 mins later and said it would be $50 per person to sit and that would cover food and drinks, which is still okay, I guess because we came to eat and drink anyway! But literally, 10 mins later, she came back and said that guests with two people would have to buy a bottle AND pay $50pp or get off of the line. Now, why would two people buy a bottle of hard liquor to finish by themselves? Did they want us to die there? Not to mention the bottle prices were, of course, exaggerated. At that point, we've already been waiting over 40 mins... that didn't even make sense. I tried to get an explanation, but Valerie walked away. Everyone online became upset because we were confused with all the unfair changes. When the next hostess, Isabella, came out, I tried to speak with her to see what's going on, and instead, she dismissed my questions and asked me if I was on line because I stepped off the line to get their attention. I said yes, I was on the line, and I just had a question. She proceeded to say, "get back over there," I said, excuse me? Because that was rude. She said "step back" very rudely. Valerie then came back outside and said the line is closed and that they aren't accepting any more guests while; there were over ten people on the line that she told had to wait an hour for seating and stayed at that point an hour for the seating. I went to Valerie to express my concerns, and she closed the door in my face. Wow. Not only did this feel like a waste of time, but I also felt disrespected. I asked to speak to the manager and talked to Camilo. He was so understanding and accommodating he could get my partner and me a table, BUT we had to share a table with the next couple behind us to be seated. We didn't mind because they seemed nice and we were just over it, so we all agreed. When we were being seated, it wasn't bad. We actually had enough space from the other couple to the point it didn't even feel like we were actually seated together. From there the food was okay, the hookah was not worth the $35, the server was friendly, but we had to ask for Utensils and had to request twice for the hookah to be changed because it was terrible. First, if you do not have a reservation days in advance they don't seat you in the area that is in all the pictures, they seat you in a semi outside area. I would say that this place is just OKAY. I didn't completely hate it but I did not love it. I came for brunch on a Saturday. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Others had steak and eggs and said the eggs were nasty. They think it's because they just threw American cheese on the top. You can request them however you like. We got the bottomless mimosas. They were good, definitely did the job. In the beginning, they were refilling very slowly but then it picked up. If you do not have the appropriate shoes, they tell you you can't come in. If you have to run to the store, they confiscate your shoes at the door. Honestly, it's not that serious. Parking is metered unless you drive farther away. It is bad finding parking around this area. Please be aware they MAINLY play Spanish music. I think that's unfair, you should play a variety of genres to please your audience. Please do not be offended by this because I don't mind it, what I do mind is that it's played the entire two hours that I was there. Again, read the room and play music to fit your crowd. This place, in theory, sounded great. However- we called to ask to make a reservation and were told "we don't take reservations." Yet, we get there and are asked for the name of our reservation and that they only accept reservations currently due to the weather. They also had no more open tables for the night. We found a place across the street and watched people continue to enter the restaurant. Once it stopped raining, we saw the line moving and people getting in, so we decided to wait in line with the rest of the world who didn't think reservations were necessary. Aside from the pure lack of social distancing by a giant party that they kept letting people join inside, they took random groups of people on line and allowed friends of people who worked there, to enter without waiting. They also kept moving the "reserved" signs to empty tables but who the hell reserves a table at 1 AM?! No one was rude, but even worse, no communication or care for people who want to spend their money at their restaurant. The two stars are honestly for the hookah. They have these dramatic dress code rules that they didn't adhere to, no masks for staff, moved very slow, served watered down mimosas, charge to change hookah coals and demanded cash up front and then waitress and no knowledge of what was actually on the menu. We were also seated all the way in the back as a party of 4 with plenty of space available. As someone with egg allergies, it's important to ask about certain ingredients in the food and when I spoke to her, she guaranteed there was no Mayo in my food but when I got it there was and she had a bad attitude when I pointed it out. My friend's meal also came with home Fries (which the waitress claimed it didn't) so she ordered fries for no reason. I went here twice and had a good experience both times so I wanted to make a reservation for my birthday brunch. They were very unresponsive to calls and texts so I finally got in touch with someone on Instagram who responded and told me to text them (even though I had already said no one was answering my texts). When I finally got the information from them they said that because I had 10 people I had to have a pre fix menu that only offers 3 entree choices and one appetizer and dessert to share. No one should have to share anything during the pandemic and it was $40 per person just for food. When I asked if there was any way we could order off of the regular menu they said no. My friends and I dined at The Garden on Wednesday evening. To start this was about my 4th time at The Garden and from this experience it might have been my last. We had a 7:30 reservation for 4. I will admit we were late. We all didn't arrive until close to 8pm. Therefore we had to wait in line for a table to be available. Although, they were able to sit us around 8:15-8:20pm, which was great. The waiter was nice and that's why I am giving one star. We ordered hookah, drinks, two rounds of shots, appetizers, and entrees. By the second round of shots we realized we have not gotten any food. We asked the waiter, he continued to apologize and say the kitchen was backed up. Around 10:15pm, we have not received our food, nor any appetizers. At that point we were over it and asked for a manager. He apologized about the kitchen being slow but advised the food would take a little bit longer. What pissed us off is that tables that came after us were getting their appetizers and us nothing. We ended up cancelling the order and leaving hungry. The manager gave us a 15% discount, but the bill still came up to $200 with no food, solely drinks ! This place is overpriced and unorganized. They are quick to ask for a credit card to confirm your reservation but they cannot guarantee you will eat. This is a popular place and clearly they do not have the kitchen staff to support it. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this establishment and there is a likelihood I will not be returning. read more

First outing since covid - my company decided to treat me and my coworkers to a nice dinner since we have not seen each other in a while and I was in charge of finding a location - making the reservation over the phone was easy and from their Instagram I was excited to go! We got there at 7 pm at around 10:30 pm the waiter stated there was a 2 hr max time per table and had brought the check with her... we informed her we were not made aware of that rule and we were not ready to pay the check because we were ordering more food and drinks. After that we just felt rushed. If this 2 hr max is indeed a rule, this should be somewhere on the website, Instagram or mentioned to you when you call to make the reservation. To drink I had 2 "lucky rose" the taste was good, to eat I had the jardin churrasco which I ordered medium well... and unfortunately it was not medium well, it was under cooked, the sides it came with were good however (black rice and beans with avocado and sweet plantain). HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND! I visited this place for the first time on Tuesday the 23rd. I was with two of my friends, all of us in our 20s. The host asked for ID upon arrival, two of us had the id on us and one of my friends only had a picture of hers. We told her this and she said unfortunately she couldn't accept the picture of the ID and that my friend would just be given an underage wristband because she couldn't confirm her age. With that being said my friend who is 24 wasn't able to drink or smoke hookah with us. After a few minutes we just let it be, a few moments later a group of Spanish girls walk in and some of them show pictures of ID and they were permitted to drink and smoke. We feel as if though this only happened to our friend because she was black, as this place has received comments in regards to their racial issues. Also, only Spanish music was played throughout our whole stay, we were there a few hours. Lastly, the photographer was walking around taking pictures of everyone's tables, after we checked out she brought us pictures and said we must pay for them. We payed over $200 during our stay and she demanded we had to pay $25 per picture and she had printed out about 5. I had reservations ahead of time and when I got there I was seated all the way in the back in a tiny booth, with a group of 5 people.The drinks were small and the food was in small portions. When I got my bill I was couldn't believe they added an additional "pre fixed" menu price of $250, on top of everything else we ordered. I spoke to the person I made reservations with 3 times and never once did they mention that only that it was a $ 50 minimum per person with food and drinks, that's it. Waiter disagreed with us and had to call his manager who took over 10 mins to come. He also disagreed and tried to argue about the bill and took the bill and said he'll take a look again. The waiter came back and apologized for their $250 mistake. Terrible experience with a group of friends and one celebrating their birthday. The scenery is very nice very beautiful. There were so many things wrong with my experience though. One we got sat at a dirty table it had food on the seat as well as the table and was given an attitude when i asked to clean the table . Then It took about 20-25 mins for our server ( Camilla ) to even greet us . Then i went to use the bathroom and it was throw up all on the side of the toilets and no tissue in the stall but all over the women's bathroom floor. They don't even have soap in the bathroom it's just sanitizer. I get people are short staffed due to the pandemic but having to pay $50 per person and the place not even be cleaned and the service sucked . I came to this bar/restaurant to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We arrived just before 7 pm when happy hour ends (6:50 pm) and were told that we could not order for the happy hour drink menu. I argued that and we were able to order a round of drinks. We were then instructed that because we were a party of 6 that we must order food from a price fixed menu. The price fixed menu charged $50/person and included an appetizer, main entree and dessert. The appetizer served was enough for 4 people, not 6. The main entree was ok, and then the dessert menu was 2 desserts that were single desserts. So they suggested we share and it was literally enough for 2 ppl, not 6. RRT disappointing and pricy. Spending minimum is $50pp. You are not able to get new coals for your hookah (you have to purchase a whole new hookah), and you have to pay CASH ONLY for the hookah separately from your check. If you don't want to be seated outside, you need a reservation. Tables are crammed on top of each other, my friend was literally touching other person because there was no space. I want to emphasize again, the staff is extremely rude and they don't care if the customers enjoy their time there.
