So I waited a few months before returning and then I brought teddy back and the pricing was solid and made sense and they did a good job with his grooming! I was sad that Tynasha was no longer there but Carly(?) did a nice job too! I am hoping this place sticks around because it is small and more intimate than the bigger chains and it is close to my Collinsville home which make it easy to drop off my dog for grooming and pick him up. I like to support small businesses instead of going to the chains and the owner was very nice and an avid pet lover, so I hope he is successful!

When we were driving around, i wanted to see it and saw that some of it was missing the part where the harness connects to the collar. Tell them that we should return to get a replacement. So we did they went in alone and said the guy there refused to give ger a replacement and said it was faulty and he didn't have the inventory to do so. He even yelled at her for trying to get a replacement she paid around 30. All they really wanted was a replacement, not a refund. My friend even said thats how it was when they left the store, and the man said that they must've dropped it somewhere. The moment i walked in i felt unwelcome. I continued to go to Jessica who groomed my Maltipoo. My…read moreMaltipoo had long beautiful hair and for7 months she groomed her. She asked me to attend a "brushing class" which i did for free w her. I always felt confrontational w her like she didn't approve of me keeping my dog's hair long. Well it became apparent when she Hung up on me! I feel this was extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked her not to shave my dog and she did a 1 inch cut which to us is essentially shaved. Here are the pics. What's so bad is i feel she intentionally did this because she did not want to keep brushing my dogs long hair she said it was torturing her(the dog) and we weren't managing the hair well. I brush my dog's long hair w a wire brush and metal comb and then cut whatever knots out she has with scissors which i told her to do but her response was that will look choppy! So after expressing my displeasure of her decision to cut very short my long haired pup she hung up on me! Instead of cutting her hair so short, she should have said i am not comfortable with brushing and grooming her anymore and you should find a new cut. Instead she decided on her own to do this! And when my hubby picked our pup up that day, Jessica immediately said "she isn't shaved " which was apparently on my husband's shocked face, yes she was! Im not asking for my Money back but i do feel the owner of this "woman ran business" all woman only work there, should apologize for the unprofessional manner in which her employee conducted herself. Do not hang up on customers. In the future, Maybe take a class in how to be more professional in dealing with unsatisfied clients

This review is for the Shot Clinic only, as I did not go into the store…read more Four Muddy Paws hosted a shot clinic sponsored by Partners For Pets. The prices were phenomenal!!! My baby rec'd 3 shots for $27. We arrived first thing in the morning, since the clinic was from 9am-12pm on May 2nd. Four Muddy Paws is housed in a strip mall with plenty of parking and there was a bank next door that looked to be closed on Saturday so that accommodated for additional parking. The clinic was held outside in the grassy area, they had a table set up, so it was first come, first serve. The paperwork was simple and they accepted cash or card payments. The wait time wasn't bad, it took us an hour from start to finish and the staff was really nice and loving to the babies and were ready for all types...meaning if your fur-baby was scared or frightened. We rec'd a free cookie from Treats Unleashed for the fur-babies and a $5 gift card. I love the machine that they have in house for making tags. You select the one you want, an associate programs the machine and loads your new tag. Then you take over the keyboard by selecting how many lines you want. The next step is typing what you want on the tag and selecting a font. Final step is proofing and hitting the engrave button. When it's done engraving, you've got a fashionable tag for your new family member. The other item I needed was a coupler. I needed it for the seatbelt restraint. Instead of securing one dog, I now needed to make sure two dogs were safe while riding shotgun. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting matching bandanas for both dogs and a couple of fresh baked cookies. When: January 28, 2026 Why: Shopping with new dog after seeing new vet.

(The Humane Society will take your…read moredonation but cannot use opened bags and will often donate your donations to other organizations who can use them. So, more unneccesary work for them...) My daughter recently donated lots of fairly high priced specialty cat food. Her elderly cat had liver disease. I went to the nearest donation spot as per their website. I requested a donation receipt but were told that they didn't have any. I sent an email about getting a donation receipt. and their response, from a Board Member: "We are a 501C, a non profit organization. We take donations in the donation barrels set up throughout the area. We do not give receipts, especially since most donations are anonymous." So, duh, most donations would be anonymous since there is nothing in place to identify a donor... seems like a lazy thing that could easily be rectified. But, nonetheless, donate your pet stuff here if you can.
