What a nice surprise?! We were visiting friends on the NOFO and wondering where to get our green juice fix for the weekend....the Giving Room hits the spot. This Southold establishment is part yoga studio part organic juice/smoothie bar. The vibe is very cool....earthy, laid back and authentic. The juice selection is huge. They press several first thing in the morning which can then be found in the fridge. They will also blend/juice on request and customize to your liking. They sell other organic goods, yoga accessories for class and items like CBD products and organic oils etc. The women at the counter are super nice. We tried the Green Goddess and the XXX. Both were very fresh, herbaceous, not heavy on the fruit, balanced with good ginger spice. Very pleasing. They will do detox juice programs and smoothies and other concoctions. They also use organic fruits and veggies and the drinks are served in mason jars with paper straws. Just a really cool vibe and great place for a healthy beverage or overnight oats. A definite must whether you're a yogi, a NOFO resident, a summer beach goer or a lucky person who happens to stumble on this gem! read more

I booked a private yoga party for a bachelorette party with The Giving Room and the experience exceeded expectations! The coordinator, Paula, was extremely attentive to her email throughout the booking process, and made reserving this private event a breeze. For $250 total, our group of 7 was able to secure a yoga studio that literally overlooked the beach, we had our own instructor, and we received a juice/smoothie at the end of the class! Our instructor was so sweet and positive, and was definitely able to read the room! We asked for a more stretch-oriented class instead of a more intense sweat session. She not only delivered, but was able to modify the poses since there were varying levels of expertise in the class. Afterwards, we drove 5 minutes to the main "Giving Room" location to pick up our juices. I had the "Flu Shot" which was exactly what I needed! A nice spicy cleanse for the morning. Another major hit was the "Coffee Split." If I'm ever in the Greenport area again, I will absolutely check out one of the main in-studio classes! Hoping for some fresh squeezed orange juice in the neighborhood, I wandered in and noticed that all their fancy specialty blended juices were 12 dollars. "Do you do fresh squeezed orange juice?" (Pause) "We can squeeze some oranges for you, yes." "Is that going to be 12 dollars?" (Longer pause) "Yes." Needless to say, no fresh squeezed orange juice was drank by me that morning. read more

The Giving Room is a very interesting place. It's a yoga studio with a juice bar organic store attached. The smells in here are interesting and the place seemed very bare to me. The eatery was cold, it needed some warm touches and just felt very empty. They had various juice and smoothie options and so I figured they would also have ginger shots and they did. The best thing about this place was that the products were fresh. You can absolutely taste the difference between a ginger shot that's been bottled and one that is made fresh. The ginger shot was given to me in a little glass jar that you could keep which I thought was a fun touch. The ginger shot was $5 and I'm used to paying $1.75 and my local vegan eatery or $2.75 at Whole Foods. Definitely expensive. Have to remember this is the North Fork Long Island so I can expect these locally owned shops to inflate prices a bit. If you're into yoga, which I'm not, check this place out. It may be right up your alley. read more

I don't know where to start with this incredible place. The name "The Giving Room" couldn't be more precise to describe my experience here. A few months ago my father was suddenly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He was having a hard time eating and my uncle had mentioned to me there was a fresh juices place in town that might be worth trying. I headed right over and was welcomed with caring, kind women whose warmth was radiating. Of course being around such good people and dealing with my own stress I started sobbing to these poor strangers. They were so caring and so "Giving" that they not only took care of me but made some incredible juices for my father, AS WELL AS gifting us with some turmeric and other natural medicines. Needless to say the juice was delicious and the only thing my father could get down to get some nutrients into him. I kept stopping in to the store a few times over the next few weeks and each time they welcomed me with loving open arms and put a lot of love and care into the juices. I lost my dad within three weeks from diagnoses to death, but these women ended up becoming very much a part of this journey. Paula offered a stranger her shoulder to cry on and her words of light and wisdom. This place is a true GIVING ROOM and the energy and the product there are everything you could hope for. I support this store and business 150% and if i could give more stars than 5, I would do it in a heartbeat! read more

Lovely juice bar and yoga studio. Enjoy and appreciate both. The juices are tasty and made from fresh ingredients. You can order one of their delicious menu options or modify. As others have noted, the juices are served in mason jars (which you keep) with optional paper straws *and* you can place your order on a white board by the studio if you want a juice ready for you after class! Lovely lovely lovely. I came here for a quick juice fix and the staff is incredibly warm and kind. We ordered the green goddess juice which tasted like a delicious green lemonade. They offered us samples and let us take the juice to go! They serve juice in cute little mason jars there. I don't give 5 stars often, it takes A LOT- and let me say that the giving room has it! The staff are in love with what they do, thus creating a wonderful environment to sip a smoothie and have a snack. It's not just juice- but organic and gluten free foods, teas as well as salads. A very diverse (and vegan) menu from tropical fruit drinks to "the great green" which lives to it's namesake including the best of the plant world (dandelion, kale etc) as well as almond milk and the classics OJ/Apple juice. It's all or organic!! Truly a local treasure and a must stop for locals and tourists alike!! Let's not forget the yoga studio also owned by the giving room one door over. You have got to get the chocolate pudding! Coconut, chocolate, and I don't know what else it contains that makes it good. I also bought a juice - beets, carrots, ginger, yumm! They give it to you in a mason jar. The drink lasts me 2 days! They also sell smoothies and a few wraps. You can sit in front of the store at the 2 tables outside. Some groceries for sale on the back wall. You can park at the 3 spots in front, or a few spots in back. Knowledgeable, friendly people. read more

This yoga studio is outstanding for its high quality teachers and high quality juice bar. The generous and kind owner embodies the name of the place. It is also a beautiful space,welcoming and warm. My favorites are the open vinyasa flow classes with Claire. Vigorous and challenging, but always centering and calming at the same time - including pranayama and short meditation. Claire talks everyone through the poses with an emphasis on how to avoid getting hurt, while at the same time encouraging methodically paced growth in the practice over time. There are also excellent beginner and gentle yoga classes. The juice bar merits a mention also. The juices are made with high-quality all-organic ingredients and taste wonderful. The smoothies are great, too - especially the Black Dragon. Great healthy/tasty salads and I love the hummus wrap (home-made delicious hummus). Plus they are expanding into a new space adjacent to the studio. read more
