it all started 2 months ago with YouTube and The Smoking Tire's episode on a 2016 VW Passat. The car looked grabbed my attention because of the paint. When they did a walk around with the camera I couldn't stop pausing to see how amazing the paint looked. I ended watching the whole episode and had to find out who did the detailing and ceramic coating. Of course it was "The Gloss Factory" and I just had to call and get a quote myself as well. It took 2 months (due to rains in So Cal) to finally get Pablo to come to my house to work on my car. I swear the weather did not want to cooperate for my car to get washed LOL. Pablo was so accommodating to me it was incredible. Every week or 2 we kept pushing back the appointment because of rain. It was like clockwork, and super annoying. But FINALLY after a 2 month wait he came and worked on my car. I could not be more ecstatic of his work. To begin with my car is a special white color with pearl blended in. The color in the sun changes at angles ever so slightly because of the pearl and then looks completely different in other shades of light. Now it just looks like a white mirror and light just makes it shine a crazy shine. Pictures from a phone do not do this job justice. First, I want to thank Yelp, and all the reviewers giving Pablo 5 stars before me. Thanks to all of your recommendations, I found the best detailer at my first try! I agree all of you guys, his works deserves more than 5 stars!!! A real professional with the best customer care, showing up on time and excellent communications. I asked him two projects, first my 18 years old Astro van, fairly ok conditions in and out (I have never let others wash the car), and then my brand new Expedition. On Astro, all over inside, leather seats, carpets, all plastic panels, and floor mats - everything gets so clean, looking like new! Exteriors - he spent his time on the big roof, which was very rough as I did not clean for the last 5 years or so, and turned out to be WOW! so smooooth!! He took about 4 hours and then spent 30 - 40 min. to talk with me as I asked some questions. He never rush, I was so relaxed and enjoyed talking with him. The cost of all interior + exterior job, spending almost 5 hours at my place was VERY reasonable, I was amazed and so appreciative, of course tip him good!! Several days later, he showed up on time again to apply ceramic coating for the Expedision. He took about 2.5 hours to complete and the cost was again VERY reasonable! Since it is a brand new car, I cannot tell the difference of before / after, but here is a new additional info. I hope to share with everyone. The value of the ceramic coating is really shine with Pablo's Rinse-Less Wash kits and his easy to follow instructions. He told me that he will come back in one week, and checking the coating at the same time showing me how to do the rinse-less wash. So he came on time again as promised, and checked the car quickly (of course all good, no issue), and then provided me the magical washing liquid, big washing mit, microfiber towel (Griot's Garage, good one), bucket, dust separater used in bucket, and ceramic coaing booster. He showed me how to use them, then I followed him to do the wash. The cost of all of the follow up work and the kit - Nothing! Pablo asked no money for this follow up service - time to travel, spending 2 hours with me (sorry I talked too much), and providing me his complete rinse-less washing kit. It is no way for me to let him go home without giving him anything, so I gave him some tip, but he really did not expect me to pay anything. It is just unheard-of great customer care!!! He is truly a great person, period! I will definitely hire him every 1 - 1.5 years or so to update his ceramic coating. I found the rinse-less wash is very fun! It is so easy, thanks to the nicely done ceramic coated surface, and the liquid works so good, all dusts / dirts are collected very easily to the washing mit and wiping off easily to make no residue. The big Expedision can be rinse-less washed in 30 min., without using water hose at all, so it can be done any place, on a street or at a parking lot. For me, Pablo's method (ceramic coating + rinse-less wash) is revolutionary, changing my way of keeping the car clean forever! Importantly, it is a fun process, and no stress on myself to work on a big car in the limited free time between work and family duties. No more clay bar, no more hosing, no more wet shirt and pants! Then if I ever encounter any issues or questions, simply I can call Pablo and asking him to take a look. I am so grateful for his dedicated work and second-to-none customer cares.
