I had a terrible experience with this delivery service. They were hired for a "white-glove" in-home…read moredelivery, but the crew was unprofessional, ill-equipped, and physically negligent with the furniture. The crew arrived without basic tools and actually had to ask me for a screwdriver to finish the assembly. When I saw they were struggling with the items, I offered to help by watching the remaining pieces so all three men could safely carry the first heavy unit up the stairs together. Instead of being professional, one of the movers was incredibly rude, telling me, "Don't try to tell me how to do my job. You can wait upstairs." The "job" he then performed was rolling the boxes up the stairs rather than lifting them. While doing this, they complained the entire time about the items being "too heavy." Because they chose to roll the furniture instead of carrying it, the piece is now damaged. A drawer is completely misaligned and sticks out from the frame, and it is now physically tight and difficult to shut. It is clear that rolling the unit put stress on the frame and hardware that it wasn't meant to handle. If you value your furniture or expect a respectful, professional delivery experience, avoid this company. They are confrontational, lazy, and will damage your items.

As far as I know, you have Sunset Shipping, then the boat company sailing our goods over seas, handing one's goods to a different company that where-houses your goods before sending them off to another company to deliver your goods to their destination. That's at least 4 separate companies involved. Really? Is that what we have to deal with? I read the positive comments on YELP for these shipping companies. I know there is always a chance ones item will get lost, damaged, or stolen. But it sucks none the less because they got their money and I did not get what I was assured. So if your planning on having a shipping company send your stuff long distance, State to State, or Country to Country, you will be taking a chance. The insurance deductibles are at least one thousand dollars. I am curious, is there not a better way? Is there any ONE company that gets your stuff from point A to point B? With absolutely no middle man.

In all honesty, I only ever come in here to buy stamps, but I've found that the people behind the…read morecounter are invariably friendly and helpful, and the lines have never been very long (at least that's been my experience so far). The parking situation is the only down side, and can be confusing if you're not from the area. You have to pull into the shopping center (or strip mall; I'm not sure which it would "technically" qualify as), travel 1-way past the Dunkin Donuts (used to be a Boston Market) and a few other stores, and then pull into whatever available space you can find. Pulling in isn't so much the problem as backing out, as the cars that are coming in tend to do so at a high rate of speed. Then again, I've become a timid driver in my old age. Sometimes I'll park on the less crowded side of the (small) shopping center in order to avoid that potential hazardous pitfall. Pulling back out onto Springfield Ave. can be a pain in the neck too. You can only pull out in one direction, which is not the direction that takes me home. A relatively minor annoyance, though, when I consider how quickly and painlessly I'm able to buy my postage stamps. And, on a side note, whatever happened to the Wanted posters that used to hang from post office walls? I never recognized any of the thugs, desperadoes, terrorists, bank robbers or felonious maniacs pictured on them, but I always derived a certain morbid entertainment value from perusing them. I guess "America's Most Wanted" on TV made them obsolete? Inquiring minds want to know... If I happen to be in the area, this is the post office I prefer to patronize. I can't speak for their mail delivery, or how adeptly they handle incoming packages, or how well they process money orders, etc. But if you're interested only in buying stamps, this place is very highly recommended.
