A MN staple! Stopped by after a bike ride and grabbed a salted caramel scoop and a amaretto / coconut cream pie heath dipped waffle cone. The salted caramel is great and I really enjoyed the amaretto. The coconut cream was a bit underwhelming, I believe it's a rotating flavor. They also have ice cream cakes I really want to try and choco tacos

Sebastian Joe's has been my favorite ice cream store in Minneapolis for years. Rain or shine or winter blizzard they are always open. Staff is always friendly and they do enjoy working there. They have updated the interior furniture, which makes it even more cozy.

They serve Sebastian Joe's at the Minnesota Zoo! And if you are lucky enough to make it all the way to the barn area, make sure to get yourself some. The service is always quick and friendly. Outdoor seating is great on a nice day too! Perfect vibes for a long day at the zoo

Delicious, consistent ice cream in the Twin Cities. Has multiple locations, so you are always not too far away from one. The flavors are all good, I especially enjoyed my Oreo sundae one that I got recently. I can't say it's my absolute favorite ice cream in Minneapolis (there are so many to pick from!) but it's always a solid choice. Pricing is a little high, but close to standard pricing for this area. Staff is always friendly and I enjoy the seating at this location.

Inside was clean and neat. The person helping us didn't really say hi or welcome us in, but we were able to sample an ice cream flavor and ended up going with Oreo and Pavarotti. The Oreo was the winner! So good.

YUM!! This is a go-to with friends for ice cream in the twin cities. I've always been happy with service and ice cream at any Sebastian Joe's location, but something about this one really hits home. They have rotating flavors, and always have more than a few dairy free options. I'd love to see the dairy free options expand, but even if they don't I will keep comin back!! Sprinkle cones are a must here. They're crunchy and the sprinkles still have a little crunch to them too! I've never had an ice cream here that I disliked. They're all flavorful and many of them have 'stuff' in them: Carmel, nuts, fruit, etc. if you're in uptown, make a stop here! There's cute seating around the corner, as well as a nice indoor seating area as well. A summer staple!

Both times I've visited Minneapolis, I've been to Sebastian Joe's. It doesn't matter how cold it is outside, ice cream is life. Hubby and I have had the Nicollet Avenue Pothole and the Oreo. Both flavors were phenomenal! The Nicollet Avenue Pothole was rich and chocolatey with so many yummy mix ins. The Heath bar chunks, the fudge truffles and swirl - WOW. It's an unbelievable flavor! The Oreo isn't far behind. There are tons of Oreo cookies and cream throughout. One of the best Oreo ice creams I've had. I can't wait until next time!

Sebastian Joe's is, in my opinion, the best hard ice cream in Minneapolis. I have been to a lot of the famous ones, but this one takes the cake for me. I have been here a number of times over the years and this place is always packed and the ice cream is always delicious. They are open through the winter which is different than most places where I grew up, but is awesome because there's never a bad time for ice cream. I have had a number of their flavors including Oreo, Danish Nut Roll, and Pavarotti and while they have all been delicious - Pavarotti is by far my favorite. I love the flavor of banana ice cream and all of the other add-ins make it even better. The space is pretty large inside, but expect a typical ice cream store environment inside with high sound volumes and many families having a great ice cream outing. In the summer, they do have some patio seating in an alley way sort of thing, but it's pretty limited so I wouldn't bank on it. The parking situation is street only, but there's plenty of small streets around which generally have plenty of parking, but may require a little walk.

Sebastian Joe's serves up delicious hard scoop ice cream. The flavors come in well known classics and some unique remixes. This time I got their vanilla cookie sandwich because I haven't g he ad one in so long. The cookies were great and paired well with the ice cream, reminded me of summers as a child. The staff here were welcoming and helpful. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The location is pretty convenient and has street parking available.

While on vacation in Minneapolis, we first tried Sebastian Joe's ice cream at Sea Salt in Minnehaha Park. Oh my goodness, it was some of the best and creamiest ice-cream we'd had in a long time. Therefore, we decided to seek out one of their ice cream shops, to try some more. The shop on Franklin Ave offers a large ice cream bar when you walk in, along with a seating area and restrooms. The staff were friendly and offered us samples before we committed to buying a flavor. Besides ice-cream cones/cups, they also sell ice cream cakes. We tried the amaretto chocolate and the salted caramel. Delicious! There seemed to be a shortage of ice-cream shops in Minneapolis (Probably because it's so cold for much of the year!) I really think this brand could expand in M'polis or nation wide. It was that good. I took one star off because their restrooms were not very clean. Helpful?

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

It gets an incredible amount of natural light, which makes it a pleasant place to spend some time. I also loved that it's dog friendly. The seating, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. There's a decent amount of it, but it's not really comfortable and it feels like there's plenty of room to add more seating throughout the space. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The menu is a little limited, but what I had was excellent. I ordered the light roast coffee and it was super good. I was also happy to see they carry Cardigan Donuts. If you have not had one before, they are absolutely worth trying! The biggest drawback for me was the WiFi. It was so unreliable that it made getting work done almost impossible, which is a pretty significant downside for a coffee shop. Overall, I enjoyed the coffee, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff, but the limited menu, somewhat uncomfortable seating, and especially the poor WiFi kept this from becoming one of my go to coffee shops.

I ended up spilling it all over the floor (totally my fault). I went up to order a new one (planning to pay because again..my fault!) and the staff refused to let me pay and even brought me my new drink to the table I was at. Talk about customer service!
