Pros: Danny is a good barber who gives quality haircuts. Cons: Danny is ALWAYS late to open his business. Anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes. I have been going to Danny for about 2 years. I've had my hair cut by Danny before he had his own spot, I followed him wherever goes because of the quality of work he does. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a serious barber. I saw some of the reviews on here, and I would like to add that Danny is from NY and speaks fantastic English not sure why people take the time to write bad things about businesses that are not even factual. I absolutely hate to give poor reviews and I see that this place has stellar reviews but unfortunately my boyfriend at the time (husband now) had a very poor experience and I feel the need to give people a heads up. When he sat down he stated he wanted just a little bit off the top (had to explain with gestures because the barber seemed not to speak fluent English) and the barber proceeded to use the clippers to roughly shave his whole head. I immediately noticed that one side was obviously shorter than the other (which he never requested for the sides at all). Then he was using the clippers to tidy up around the ear area and took off a considerable, unsightly chunk. The appointment was a while back, but the same barber is still there. read more

Scheduled an appointment with Danny B through their website about an hour in advance and arrived about a minute late - which I was ironically prepared to apologize for. Walked in to the shop and saw a guy cutting and another that looked like he was finishing up construction on the place. I've pretty much gotten used to not getting a super friendly welcome when walking in to most barbershops, at least if it's my first time there, but I definitely got a particularly unwelcoming vibe as soon as I walked in to this one. Brushing that low key rude welcome off, I told the guy cutting, who I assume was Danny, about my appointment. He basically tells me he's running late and will get to me later. I asked how long and he said 10-15 mins. Since he was cutting someone at the time I figured I would be next, so I reluctantly sat down to wait. After the cut was over he asks another guy waiting if he's ready. I then asked him if the appointments even matter and he said, sounding kind of annoyed at that point, they do but he's running late. At that point I decided to take my business elsewhere where it would be more appreciated. It's one thing to not honor a prescheduled booking due to genuine error or bad time management. Apparently waiting at their shop after someone else preschedules an appointment is a more efficient way to schedule for those still curious. What makes this worthy of a one star experience are the facts that my appointment wasn't honored, at no point was I offered any iota or semblance of an apology or sympathy and from beginning to end there were rude and indifferent vibes coming at me implicitly and/or explicitly. read more

Had an appointment at 5:40. And I was running really late (my fault). Keep in mind he closes at 6pm... I called ahead of time around 5:30 letting him know I was gonna be late. He said "No problem bro, come still".... 5:55 came around and I was still not there, at this time he called me to make sure I was still gonna show up... Still late, I ended up showed up showing up at 6:10. Danny still took care of me like he would if I was on time.. took his time with my haircut. Made sure everything's was good.
