This is an update from my prior post. I gave a 4 star rating with the caveat that since their policy is "no returns", please make an informed decision. After my initial review, I was contacted by a manager to schedule a meeting at the store, regarding my experience. The manager was sincerely interested and respectful of my concerns. My feet were measured again and the initial inserts were no longer suitable. The manager explained the program is an ongoing process that requires a commitment to periodically check in at the store. Adjustments may be necessary to receive the maximum benefit. I was given a revised set of inserts to take home and try, following the program to a T. There was a noticeable positive difference this time, with my right foot. My left foot has had numerous toe and foot surgeries plus ankle fractures. Due to my unique history, questions would have provided the information necessary to ascertain whether I was a suitable candidate. What did impress me the most was the manager's eagerness to take the time to address and try to rectify my situation. Both my husband and mom bought inserts at The Good Feet Store. I waited a few months to write this review. Here's the thing: this place is run like a time share company. The employees are most certainly working on commission and have been very well-trained to deliver their tightly-controlled pitch. From the moment you make an appointment or walk in, you are part of a carefully choreographed campaign to part you from $2000. That's right: there are three packages and the cheapest is $2000. So the positive reviews you read online? These are from people who need to convince themselves that their $2000 investment was worth it. And I don't blame them. When you are seeking pain relief, when you are looking to make the most basic of functions, walking, easier on yourself, you will do and pay a lot. The Good Feet Store has positioned itself as having a magic bullet. They told my mom the inserts would "cure" arthritic pain and my husband that his damaged knee would no longer hurt. Months later, of course, none of those things happened. And there are no guarantees and no refunds. Do the inserts help? Sure. Would custom inserts from a podiatrist work as well? Absolutely. And they would be a heck of a lot simpler. The Good Feet design involves multiple Inserts that must be changed at certain times of day after a certain number of hours. There is absolutely nothing to justify this enormous expense. read more

I have one word for you: "Guy". Guy shepherded me through the entire process from walking in the door to getting the insoles in my shoes and testing them out. Their proprietary 3 step process is impressive and backed by extensive research and successful outcomes. From the moment we walked through the door Guy was answering our questions and showing how the system worked and the "mechanics" behind this great American success story. Guy has the patience of a saint and calmly and thoroughly answered our questions and then demonstrated what he just said by showing me first hand with the insoles in my shoes exactly what he was saying- so I heard him and could actually feel exactly what he said. Most importantly he found out I have been wearing a shoe 2 sizes too big for me and explained how that was contributing to my issues. By the end of our session we left knowing what to do over the next two weeks with our break in period. After we got home I noticed I had been walking on the outside of my foot. I went back to Guy the next morning and discovered that in playing around with the insoles I had put the wrong insole in for doing a lot of walking. Problem identified and fixed. Guy also taught me how to properly lace my shoes to support the fit of the insole system and to insure my feet were snug and comfortable at the same time. Like I said, Guy has the patience of a saint and if you are looking for what seems to be an amazing support system for your feet then RUN to the Leesburg store and ask to see Guy. You won't be sorry ...and no matter what you will learn a lot about your feet and how essential they are to your whole body health and well being. read more

Caveat Emptor! Let the buyer beware! Everything is highly overpriced. Please, I beg of you do not waste your money on this garbage! I just wish I had read the warnings from other consumers before being duped by this place. I admit it, I was the patsy, and I was duped. They got me. Those inserts do nothing! So I've been hearing the ads on the radio and seeing them on tv. I've been dealing with some pretty rough plantar fasciitis for the past couple of years. I'm in the midst of a milder flare up but walking for a while still causes a fair amount of pain and that's with using orthotics made for me. My husband suggested I come here to see perhaps if their inserts might help. So just a tip they do some measurements of your feet and do a walk with the inserts in some shoes at the store. I made an appointment online but they accept walk ins too. The gentleman who helped me was quite thorough and I will be honest my bad foot felt better with the brief walk around the store. The kit with inserts include three different types of shoe inserts the most flexible one will likely fit most shoes and the most rigid would most likely only work with sneakers or perhaps boots. Overall a good experience. I didn't purchase today as the cost for the inserts is pretty pricey. I need to assess since once you buy them you can't return them but they said if they don't fit properly they will adjust and resize them if needed. I will say the cost of this is likely comparable to getting custom orthotics if you don't have insurance. The store is on the side of the shopping center that's closer to the movie theater. read more

Have had foot pain for a while. Finally decided to visit after seeing non-stop Good Feet commercials. After believing all of the hype, I decided to pay the absurd $2000. I did not have the experience of instantaneous relief as touted in the commercial. I gave it about 6 weeks of following their schedule of wearing the inserts and returned to the Leesburg store for assistance. Not really helpful, but thought maybe I need to give it more time. Mind you that there is no money back guarantee. So basically you are paying $2000 and hoping and praying that these inserts will provide the pain relief you need. So now I am about 4 months into wearing the inserts and am still in so much pain that I am giving up on them. I am not sure why they are SO expensive but my guess is that they are dumping so much money into their commercials that they need to pass the cost on to their customers. I am sure that the inserts do work for some people, but there should be some sort of money back guarantee for those of us for which they do not work. People in pain are desperate to find remedies. Do a better job Good Feet! read more

I was not impressed with how the orthotic inserts felt. They caused extreme pain in my arches, and though I only walked in them for five minutes, my feet are killing me 5 hours later. I did not purchase and will go to a podiatrist for custom orthotics, which these are not. read more
