Thanks to Chris and Next Step, I have the most comfortable shoes (Keen) and sandals (Birkenstock) of my life. I am always hard on my shoes and usually end up needing a new pair of every day shoes every 6 months or so. Well, 6 months has come and gone and nearly a year later I'm wondering if these things will ever start to look worn or feel flat! I've always hated shoe shopping because the normal "shoe stores" are so hit-and-miss, full of questionable quality and the boutiques are overpriced and uncomfortable for a young guy like me to stroll into without feeling pressured. I was recommended to The Next Step by a Reston foot and ankle specialist several years ago when I needed sandals with good arch support (no more basic flip flops for me). I found knowledgeable staff at both the Herndon and Brambleton locations. You can find great shoes for all family members here. Really good quality, but keep in mind that great quality does come with a decent pricetag. If you're ok with that then shop away!
