When I originally went into the store, I was in a great deal of foot pain and hobbled around like an old man (sorry old people), so when I got waited on, the salesman did this elaborate demonstration that was short of a top hat, cape, and a magical show. Yet when they put the inserts into my shoes I had instant relief. I was amazed and in awe. They asked me if I'd like to purchase the hard plastic inserts and I quickly and desperately looked at my wife and agreed I did. The store almost had to bring out their defibrillator when they told me the price of over $300. I turned into Porky Pig and said "that's all folks!" But in the end I purchased the inserts and never regretted it one minute. They definitely helped and took away my pain totally. Now for the update review, after 15 yrs one broke and I was told at the time I purchased them that they were guaranteed for life. Oopsy, when I went into get a replacement I was told there is a $30 replacement fee, so I guess the moral of the story is that there is nothing in this world for FREE. But the damn inserts do work....please note that now the inserts will cost you around $450. But what is the price of suffering the pain and being a cheap ass or sucking up the money for relief? read more

RUN AWAY!! This business is an overhyped scam. A physician suggested I try a raised insole to help with an uneven pelvis due to one leg being significantly shorter than the other, causing hip pain on one side & knee pain on the other. A young lady in a lab coat had me walk up & down a computerized kinetic floor mat. I specifically said the lift was for my RIGHT shoe as that was the shorter leg, noted it on their history form & used a highlighter to emphasize the affected side. Went to pick it up & they had made it for the WRONG FOOT. I said to the white coated girl, who had no credentials whatsoever, that the insert was for the wrong foot, had her read me back my comments. She informed me in the snottiest of tones that "Our computer doesn't make mistakes." Really. You argue with a client over such an egregious error? I asked for her certification as a medical professional, of course she had none, other than looking like the ink on her high school diploma was not yet dry. (I am an RN & was a licensed massage therapist, so my knowledge of anatomy is pretty extensive.) There was no manager on site & she didn't want to order the CORRECT equipment, issue me a refund & argued with me that I was the one who was wrong. If you have foot issues, go to an orthopedist or podiatrist who works with a professional orthotics fitter, & stay far away from these ultra unprofessional, unqualified scammers. read more

Definitely a good product for many people. However , they are extremely overpriced. Over the counter orthotics for $350.00 each. These are custom orthotic prices. From a doctor of podiatry. So be prepared to be ripped off completely. I was. These are not podiatrists. Just salespeople. Definitely try other orthotics first. Dr Scholl in retail stores and drugstores. I had a trade show coming up and knew my feet would NOT be in good shape after the event. I had heard many ads about 'The Good Feet Store' and thought, I'm not old enough to shop there. I decided to put pride aside and check them out. I bought a pair of orthotics - base model was $125. Yikes! Very Expensive but TOTALLY worth it. I had been on the show floor a couple hours to set up without the orthotics and my feet hurt! Two 10 hour days with the orthotics and my feet felt great! I wear them ALL the time, working out, in my boots, in other shoes. They are awesome! read more

This place is a little hard to find. If you miss the strip mall entrance you can get in through the gas station just to the east. If you have foot issues you are probably curious about this store. They advertise a lot and you have to wonder how it works. How it works is sort of a let down. Their product is a simple plastic flexible insert for your shoe. They are not custom made for you. My understanding is there are 4 off the shelf sizes. They will pitch a kit of 3 inserts. A trainer, an intermediate, and a thin light duty one. This kit is $600. Looking at the product it seems woefully over priced. The good news is the product seems to work. I have terrible feet and have always bought custom orthotics. Even so, my feet continue to get worse so I was looking for a new solution. I visited the Good Feet Store a few weeks ago and bought the trainers only ($300). So far they seem wonderful. I can't say all my discomfort is gone, but so far I am pleased with the results. So if you visit, be prepared to pay through nose for something that looks like it should cost $15. They offer no returns, but I can say they helped me and that is worth the money. read more

I'm sure the product is great but not when it's not needed. READ the fine print!! There are NO returns, even if you don't initial the return policy as "required" when making a purchase because the associate never explained it! Despite the sales associate telling me we could absolutely bring them back and after hearing me tell my 9 year old we would talk to his doctor and if that's not what he needed, we would bring them back. My stupid fault for spending $354 to save on the possibility of another hour trip to get to the store when I knew full well we may be bringing them back after we verified with the doctor. Even with a doctors note, that they told me to get...No Return. A summer spent making phone calls, leaving message after message to get a response, jumping through hoops, to be told the same thing. As someone who has struggled with flat feet and the pain that comes along with it - Do not buy orthotics at this store. They are not custom fit for your feet not to mention extremely over priced. My mother ended up spending over 1000$ (while custom orthotics only cost 300-500$) on orthotics during my high school track years at this store. The reality is, if "improving the quality of peoples lives two feet at a time" only requires you to go into the back of some warehouse and pull out a plastic product that required 30$ to make, as opposed to actually measuring someones feet in the purpose of designing orthotics for them - then yeah, you're improving peoples lives. Do not trust any sort of "we sell quality products - hence the price" statements. We saw very minimalistic improvement in regards to my personal foot pain. Before I did any sort of due-diligence, I just assumed my feet would always cause me pain, and I never thought to consider that this place might've scammed me with crappy expensive orthotics that wouldn't work. I was so distraught I even considered surgery. Thankfully after multiple appointments with orthopedic/foot specialists/surgeons, one of them recognized that my orthotics were from the "good feet store." He told me about how essentially I had been scammed. I have since received custom orthotics for my feet and have yet to experience any problems with them unlike these clonky charlatan products. Buyer beware. If you have a minor foot problem like aching feet, they may be helpful. However, if you have symptoms that are leading you to believe you have plantar fasciitis, do not waste the 500-600 dollars for the worthless inserts. I wasted my money with no improvement and then went to a podiatrist that made orthotics specifically for me and then started to improve. My podiatrist said this is a common complaint he hears from patients that visited this store prior to seeing him. read more

My right knee has arthritis and the sales people at the Good Feet Store told me that inserts would help my knee. Good Feet has slick advertising that makes you think that they know what they are doing. They are not Doctors. They are not Orthopedic Specialists. They are a slick store with slick advertising. I spent $354.75 on one pair of hard plastic inserts plus cushions. There are no refunds. I wore my inserts just 5 minutes per day and they hurt my arch on my left foot. I had never had any pain in my foot before I wore this set of arch supports. I called the store and told them about the pain the inserts were causing, and they told me that I needed to continue wearing them 5-15 minutes per day until the pain went away. After a couple weeks of trying to make my foot conform to the insert, I had to stop wearing the inserts because of the severe pain that continued even when I wasn't wearing the inserts. The inserts caused my foot to have PTTD, or Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction, as diagnosed by two Orthopedic Specialists. I have had months of therapy, plus I still am being told that I need surgery, with a 50% chance of recovery. I have spent over $5000 on Dr. Appointments, and MRI, Physical Therapy, new shoes and inserts, plus travel and time involved. I fell for slick advertising when I should have gone to an Orthopedic Specialist in the first place. read more

Scam! High pressure sales on inserts that won't work. They outfit with you with a $700 program of three inserts that take 90 days to work that you can not return under and circumstances. It's a pain to continue to move these from shoe to shoe each day. They should make them more affordable to allow for multiple shoes. My feet are killing me, but I have to wait for 90 days? For what? Good feet store...horrible,,buyer beware, husband bought 2 shoe inserts .and a pair of their very expensive Spira athletic shoes..For a grand total of about $500.00.. With very little wear the shoes started making a clinking noise in 1 shoe, which leads me to believe the steel plate in the bottom was broken....insoles were of no help at all...actually hurt my feet...tried to return shoes today, for some sort of credit or new shoes, but to no avail...salesman admitted they were having a problem with those shoes, but offered no credit of any sort....so buyers beware... If you have problems with your feet, by all means go to a podiatrist, shoe inserts do NOT fix the problem....get a nice pair of New Balance athletics shoes from Kohls, rather than spend $180.00 for their shoes that absolutely do not hold up....Their coustmer satisfaction is horrible...
